If ebay fails as a business model it will fail because of outrages fees, a broken feedback system, or a competitor, not because of a currency.
Not to mention they are already preparing to embrace Bitcoin. How they will implement it will be interesting to see, but I don't think Bitcoin has anything to do with killing eBay or PayPal. If anything it will help strengthen their marketplace. i wonder if there's an actual userbase that would be open to dealing with bitcoin through ebay. i know most of us early adopters are completely against paypal/ebay, but there are future btc users who might use their services.

Have you gone into the settings when it's booting up using one of the F keys and changed it to boot from USB? Have you tried googling for a solution to this? I don't know why it would say missing operating system. Does it still boot up normally on its existing os?
i followed the guide on ubuntu website and press ESC when its restarting and boot it from usd drive but still i got the same error of missing operating system maybe it didn't install correctly the first time. all you need to do is reset it to boot off your hard drive to load your old o/s, unless you deleted it.

I would be willing to put a large sum of money that Ebay will not be bankrupt in 10-15 years, but the bet would be too long for it to be any fun...
If/when they feel they will be more profitable by adding BTC, they will definitely do so. For the time being, honestly...why would they add something that could make them less money? Would you if it were your business model?
get in now because they could have the leg up on comeptition.. this is like a wild west or gold rush version of computer technology and currency/finance.

Yeah, under the right circumstances, but that's not what he saw, and they obviously don't just burn up and are gone in a few seconds. A visible dead star would be seen so for weeks.
you know stars explode right? the heat really gets to a low point, but it's compacting. Yes, but you don't see them blow up in a few seconds. The light takes millions of light years to reach us and lasts for a while so we don't see them just explode and instantly dissapear from view. i don't know how long it takes for a star to explode.. but if it's only a few seconds, then it would still burn bright and then flicker off. apparently supernovas take only a few seconds to flicker off.

People will always find a way to exploit the system, be it capitalism, socialism or Darwinism. That's why there shouldn't be a system. Voluntary participation in communal programmes is the way forward, decentralisation to the point of the individual, kinda like bitcoin. People will always find a way to exploit the system, be it capitalism, socialism or Darwinism.
that's what i keep trying to tell anarcho-capitalists, but they won't have any of it. There's no such a thing as anarcho-capitalism, it's an oxymoron. Capitalism needs the state, thus there's no anarchy. capitalism is a very wide ranging word. capitalism does not need a state; it's about free trade and competition, at least to me and many other people. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anarcho-capitalism

you know stars explode right? the heat really gets to a low point, but it's compacting and then it just blows. so it gets a lot brighter for a little bit before fading. what i was saying though, is that the star at low energy levels probably don't shoot out enough energy for us to see it and disappear..

he wasn't a bad looking dude.. he probably suffered from some mentally debilitating disorder that caused him to feel ostracized by others.
Gayboy. Haha. That's exactly what I thought, but it doesn't matter how good looking you are if you're just a little creepy and awkward/unhinged. Women won't like that. His parents did say he had mental health problems. i wish. i was thinking about this, and i think life might be easier if i were gay (except for, you know, the bigotry). there's just no social protocol. being gay is probably how it feels like to be a girl, since you don't have to do jack shit and yet guys would be hitting on you all the time. and to add to that, it's 2 GUYS.. and being so, two horny people and re: the psycho guy, yeah when i look into his eyes it feels like something is missing.. kinda like how you feel when you see tom cruise in an interview.

i'm thinking your laptop is doomed to turtle-like speeds since you're running on an atom CPU.. so even if u have ubuntu, you probably won't be able to stream the higher res videos since it's a hardware limitation.
i am not aiming for a higher res video what i need is to change its OS because its too slow even if its restaring there is no problem with browsing because its fast but only the reloading is the problem like when you shut it down or restart it i only want it to have a good booting system which is not too slow i dont need it anyway but i will give it to my brother so he can have a netbook for his school well, in that case, you don't need to install linux.. just re-install an OEM version of windows. it's really easy since your key is already in the bios, you just put the disk or flash drive in and install. if you want it to boot really fast, consider getting a cheap SSD drive.. it'll cut down your load time in windows 7 significantly. well maybe i will try to explore this thing first and also the first thing that popped up to my mind is to restore it back ti its original setting but the damn recovery area is missing and now im searching its OEM on every folder as previously mentioned, any OEM copy of windows 7 works. you can download it via a bit torrent website (without key), and i believe it would still be legal, since you are using your laptop's key. hell, you don't even need to burn it onto a DVD.. just install it into your flash drive. just make sure that you download the same version of windows 7 and an OEM copy, not retail. already downloading it but i really want to change it to ubuntu but the problem is the computer said that MISSING OPERATING SYSTEM which is i dunno what to do any idea? you have to boot to your bios.. when you turn on your computer, press f2 or del. you have to do it really fast though, otherwise it will just tell you no operating system or load your o/s. once you download the OEM iso, you can download windows 7 USB here http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msusa/html/pbPage.Help_Win7_usbdvd_dwnTool

But first American politicians people such as Hillary Clinton (the future POTUS) should face trial for bombing the orphanages of Serbia and killing hundreds of children. George W Bush (ex-POTUS) should take the responsibility of killing 2 million Iraqi civilians. Once they are ready to face trial for their crimes, then we can talk about Snowden.
it feels like you are trying to confront the bully at the school, but it's impossible because even if you won.. everyone else around you is not your friend

I`m pretty sure it takes several hundred years? then it becomes a black hole right?
it has to be big, much bigger than our sun. but maybe the star OP saw got sucked in by a black hole or something. if it were a dying star, it probably wouldn't be bright enough for someone to see, since those stars are awfully far away, and a faint star's light probably wouldn't reach us. another amazing thing: if that star did die, then you were basically staring hundreds or thousands (or millions) of years into the past. it happened way before you were born, but you were able to witness it.

Have you guys seen the talk about True Detective Season 2? Apparently the names being tossed around include Brad Pitt, Christian Bale, Joaquin Phoenix... Any of those 3 would do a good job
i think the executive producer mentioned that it will be mostly females as the main characters. it's set somewhere in california, not in the heartland of LA though.

I'm someone that actually lives off selling on Ebay and Amazon and I have no problem with the fees at all. No other sites promote my sales with advertising and search engines as well as Amazon and Ebay. Doesn't matter what the fees are if you aren't making sales. I'll happily pay even more (I pay around 30% to Amazon to take care of nearly everything). I do have a problem with the restrictions - like only being able to accept PayPal (or do my own credit card processing) I used to accept checks on Ebay before the restriction and never had a problem and would now love to accept Bitcoin. Or the fact that I can't sell clothes or cell phones on Amazon.
I want Dark Market (or Open Bazaar) to get going. That will be the shit. Assuming, of course, search engines index it.
i guess you make enough margin to cover the exorbitant fees.. in which case, that's cool and all. but for me, it gets more and more difficult.. especially with USPS raising prices.

Would Jesus have loved Bitcoin ? And why ?

at the rate that we are printing money, yeah it's inevitable.. especially if you look back to the romans when they mixed bronze with gold to dilute the value to fund wars. history is repeating itself.

yeah they peaked and arrived at the top probably in the mid or early 2000's, and since then they've either sought to buy out competition (like craigslist) or stifle it. on top of that, they charge exorbitant fees to sellers and protect the buyers, so there will be less incentive for using them.. and i'm glad for this. taking 13% of the revenues is ridiculous.
