i remember when btc was going for $5ish in 2011.. i didn't get into btc until early 2013 though. i thought it was a nice idea at first, but i guess i was too lazy to jump in.
i wanted to make a bet on obama vs. romney in 2012 but didn't think of bitcoin to do it with.. man, a $500 bet would have netted me something like $50k+ today.

"anyone exchanging bitcoin could be SELLING SECURITIES" -- Isn't the only reason the SEC is involved that it was a ponzi scheme? He was selling shares/securities, not bitcoin.
That's true, it was a Ponzi scheme but his attorney may present the idea that Bitcoin itself acts as a security. so you're saying this guy was running a ponzi scheme and you want us to donate to defend him?

i don't know how the machine is all set up, but it's crazy to think how israel has us held under such big time wraps. they are like the littlefinger of international politics.. no one thinks they have much sway, but in the background they do have a lot.
Everyone has a 'right' (of sorts) to look out for their national security. More and more in the case of Israel that security is predicated on leveraging American muscle. I don't really hold it against the state of Israel that they use every mechanism at their disposal to strengthen this aspect of their national security. By the same token, I think it unwise to continue to fill their lake behind our dam (e.g., doing shitty things to their neighbors.) If the dam breaks I'll have limited sympathy for their plight. I very much hold it against our own politicians who allow themselves to be influenced by lobbying muscle, and that is 10x the case when the lobbying muscle is from a foreign nation. Especially when it results in actions which are against the interest of the U.S. Clinton has been rimming the Israelis since she was First Lady. She is one of the few who probably would not be required to show up in Tel Aviv in primary season. I voted for Obama over her in 2008, but it was mostly a vote against Clinton, and very specifically for the aformentioned reason. To the extent that I had any hope for Obama it was mostly because I figured his mom was an interesting person and independent thinker and thought maybe it would have rubbed of a bit. Nope. Oh well. I didn't repeat that mistake in 2012. considering what they've done to the palestinians, i'm thinking "national security" is just a euphemism for "fucking over the poor people." it's like how we enter other countries, depose their government, and call it "the defense industry."

most politicians are lawyers. they're mostly men too.. i don't like the fact that our ruling class is so monolithic. would be nice if we could limit the amount of lawyers that hold office.. since they aren't experts in other areas of society that are important, like technology and energy.
In order to run for these kinds of seats you need to have friends w/ money or an outfit you serve that has money. It's tough for the likes of Justin Amash and Thomas Massie unless you have a national following via the Ron Paul days. Rand Paul is trying to build on that but even some of those that he endorses don't make it because they have heavy special interest money going against their guys at times. we'll know more about rand paul and how much he wants to change things. if he accepts millions from unnamed sources, we'll know he will have sold out. basically, if he wins the primaries it means he will have sold himself. We'll know a lot after is mandatory visit to Israel demonstrate the requisite servility to whatever likudnick he meets. All dempublicans are required to do so these days. If he gets the thumbs up from the media after putting a check-mark in that box it will be meaningful. Just as was the case with Obama. If, OTOH, he gets the Howard Dean treatment it will mean something else. Among the things it will mean, unfortunately, is that he doesn't have a chance except in very unusual circumstances. i don't know how the machine is all set up, but it's crazy to think how israel has us held under such big time wraps. they are like the littlefinger of international politics.. no one thinks they have much sway, but in the background they do have a lot.

wade looks gassed out.. the wear and tear has got to take its toll on your body when you played 100+ games for 4 seasons straight, plus the olympics.. even if the heat win this game, i'm thinking that if this goes to 7, miami will end up losing.

sheesh, 2 million... some people just wanna donate without vetting and thinking where their money goes. i already have enough trouble donating to "children in need" for fear that it's some sort of scam.

for all haters: all I said was: Feel free to tip. And I am a full member so how can this be a gimmick account??? Come on guys, I bet a dozen of you guys have jerked off to my pics, so stop playing gay and feel free to tip me.
Thank you
Letitia
man, you really, really sound like a guy.. a guy who might get off to knowing other dudes jack off to him. Of course he's a guy. Do women really lurk around on these forums and come out with the kind of crappy insults he does? Read his first posts. He's just a failed scammer and is now desperately trying to beg some little amount of btc that he can. It's too obvious when users go out of their way to make sure everybody knows they're a girl (having 'girl' in the username is a big giveaway). btw, on girlsgonebitcoin or whatever subreddit it was, there was laready a guy who posted pictures of his ass with a bra on, and after all these guys beated off to it and flirted with him, he revealed that he wasn't a chick. everyone had a laugh, except for the guys who got all hot and horny over a dude's ass.
It's good that you can laugh about it now and have come to terms with your sexuality . i heard you were a centerfold for gayboy gaymate magazine.
