I don't have any personal qualms about people buying whatever they want online. In the case of something going wrong however you have no recourse to recover your bit coin.

i don't support child pornography or selling illegal firearms/weapons.. those don't really have a net positive effect, but the the darknet drugs do have a help. history has shown that you can't defeat drugs, but what you can do is.. not make things worse.

You will never eradicate all of it. Child porn will always be out there for the sickos that want to find it. Firearms are simply tools with no morality to them.

i'm not talking about eradication though.. i just don't support those two things like i do with drug trade.

If believing in love/god and your dreams is crazy, then I'm crazy.

that's like saying, after drinking/driving and killing someone, "if drinking means i'm bad, then i'm just bad."

You just need to give her a seriously deep dicking and she'll forget all about him.

Horseshit.

He needs to dump her fast.

he's either an alpha male or thinks he's being funny.. but yeah, hanging on to someone who doesn't want to be with you is pretty fucked up. and staying with her for the sex, knowing that she doesn't really want to be with you, just doesn't sit right. it's a no win situation.

It only takes one experience to debunk the entire thing we base our society around called science.

Guess what, I have seen physics violated on several occasions.  We create the laws of the universe.

fixed.

i wouldn't say everybody hates you dank, but people think you're either crazy or a troll. either way you're a unique forum member.

The craziest people are the ones who say they're not crazy.

i guess it's a catch 22 then, because that means you're admitting you are crazy?
1766  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What kind of cold storage do you use? on: June 02, 2014, 01:25:22 AM
i use cold storage/electrum, though i could just delete it since i remember my code.. should probably delete some one of my two copies.

1768  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who said you can't make money with faucets? on: June 02, 2014, 01:21:09 AM
i tried it myself, but after 2-3 days and less than 1 penny's worth of btc, i quickly gave up. sig posting is way, way better. i don't get why they can't advertise for gambling sites on those faucets.. or do they?
1769  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 02, 2014, 12:33:08 AM
didn't think it would jump that much over the weekend.. i was away for some time. kinda surprised.. what's the cause for this run-up?
1770  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who said you can't make money with faucets? on: June 02, 2014, 12:30:47 AM
i guess referral works, but i don't know enough people who would use faucets, and i don't like spamming it everywhere i go.
1771  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Satoshi Nakamoto become the richest person on earth? on: June 02, 2014, 12:02:45 AM
it's crazy how satoshi's $1 billion could be lost as a password or forgotten account info.. that kind of wealth hangs on a balance.
1772  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Life after Silk Road: how the darknet drugs market is booming on: June 01, 2014, 11:23:14 PM
one major benefit of darknet drug markets: consistency. a vendor has to keep up with his reputation on purity, so people are less likely to get bad stuff that they might OD on. not to mention it would weaken the drug cartels.
1773  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Satoshi Nakamoto become the richest person on earth? on: June 01, 2014, 10:55:10 PM
It's pretty likely he'll become the world's first trillionaire

you can't jus tthrow things like that around without giving numbers for some context. if he is worth $1 billion now, then bitcoin at present would have to multiply by 1000 fold. to say that btc will hit 500k-650k is kind of ridiculous.
1774  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Solar Roadways... on: June 01, 2014, 10:47:32 PM
it would make more sense to test out the solar panel roadways for some times, like a year or so.. to see if it's even feasible. if i were even interested in donating, i'd wait for a year after it's been put in effect to see if there are really any positive benefits.
1775  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Solar Roadways... on: June 01, 2014, 10:04:36 PM
They have already raised a total of $1,812,196 in Indiegogo, when compared to the goal of $ 1,000,000. Quite surprising, actually, when there are serious doubts about the viability of this project.

doesn't surprise me.. people like to donate. just give them a feel-good compelling story and they will send money. makes me wonder if there are people who plan to do this to make some money and not spend it on said project.
1776  Other / Off-topic / Re: My girlfriend still mises her ex, what do i do? on: June 01, 2014, 10:02:52 PM
kinda sucks to be the second fiddle type guy.. i would ask her if she's just with me because she's feeling lonely. i don't think i would take it.

Take the Front National, which won the European elections in France. Its leader, Marine Le Pen, bangs on about the "progressive Islamisation" of her country and compares Muslims praying in public to the Nazi occupation of France. Consider also the Danish People's Party, which topped the polls in Denmark. Its founder Pia Kjærsgaard refers to Islam as a "political movement" and claims that the Quran teaches Muslims "to lie and deceive, cheat and swindle".

Muslims are the new Jews, Islamophobia the new anti-Semitism.  It's a shameful, hateful repetition of history.

isn't it quite easy? you can tell her people in europe are similar to people in the states, at least if that's where you're from. she should know the world is a messed up place, because if she didn't and abruptly found out.. that could be a crippling blow.
1778  Other / Off-topic / Re: Vintage computer gems on: May 30, 2014, 06:35:49 AM
oh, oh! i mentioned wolfenstein and galactix, but how could i forget this masterpiece -- heroes of might and magic!! the first one was my favorite. i think they started churning a bunch of them out, didnt keep up.

...and the RPG variant (Might and Magic) was also brilliant. Have you guys played Ultima Underworld? Wizzardry was also a really good one.

Oh man This was the best game ever the one of my childhood
Long live Heroes of Might and Magic and the powerful Blue Flag
It was also neat that you could sometimes find artifacts from the defeated heroes of the other players hehe or send a suicide hero if you pick up the scroll of misfortune hehe.
Mmm think I still have this Windows 95 CD tempted now played this a heck of a lot with that soundtrack Smiley
Boots of Haste Medals of Valor Gauntlets Good old money purses Smiley

(Oh and Peasant army for the win easy to get them to join you and put haste on those things and they are powerful)

oh lord, i remember playing this game in high school.. either hot seat or via my 33.6 KBPS modem. and it was fun as hell. my favorite race was probably the ones with the titans and halflings.. and then the warlocks/dragons were pretty good too.

Yeah, this is more off-topic than Meta and definitely not Bitcoin Discussion. Though I'm sure a mod will move it if it's in the wrong place.

can't say i have a favorite, but i think after spending some time with certain people, you can get a feel for how you'd get along if it were in real life, and there are a few people i think i would get along with.

I hope I'm one of them haha  Cool.

we'd probably get along well.. i could look past your britishness, but it'd take some time to adjust.
1780  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Snowden should 'man-up' and face trial: says SOS John Kerry on: May 30, 2014, 04:53:47 AM
This is a tough issue to wrap my brain around. If he broke US law he should be charged and tried, but his motives were clearly not criminal. Either way he would never get a fair trial here.

the legal system works to favor those who are involved with government. those who are not get treated differently, so i'm pretty sure our legal system is flawed.

No question about that. My Father in law is an attorney and would say the same. He had a client earlier in his career that was executed this year. He said that the funds he received for preparing the defense for this client were nowhere near what he needed to compete with the incredible amount the state spent to make sure they could kill him.

what bothers me is the people who molest kids, drive intoxicated and kill people, and do other shit.. get away scott free because they have money. meanwhile, someone who sells weed in some southern state gets the death penalty.. because he was poor and there are evil people out there.

meanwhile, we have the gangsters in our government saying "you should abide by the law, it is supreme.. come back to the U.S. so we can torture you."
