Buy support on Polo has quickly doubled from 40 to 80btc followed by some buying of the asks including an approximately 10k chunk a couple of hours ago. I had been patiently bidding/buying the past week and with the remaining 20% of btc that was earmarked I bought from the asks as things started to move. There has been some short bursts of buying lately followed by calming down. This feels a bit different but then again how could I know. I also have a feeling that "soon" may be this week. This is based on an estimation of mine from a bit over a month ago. I have had no info about progress since then. Let's see if my guess is lucky Thanks again for you indulgence

My transaction was included in the fourth block My last transaction earlier this week took 3 blocks btc is working just like it should be In case you need some rough fee estimate: http://bitcoinexchangerate.org/fees USD cents satoshis BTC To get in next block 2.1 4831 0.00004832 To be confirmed in the next hour 2.2 5139 0.00005140 To be confirmed within 24 hours 2.0 4659 0.00004660
Thank you. I used the "recommended" setting in the Core wallet which was ~2x what is listed above. I didn't check the mem pool but just saw the long time since the last block as well as the fact that the recent blocks were virtually full. I knew I wouldn't be in the first block but 4 blocks? Many blocks are now full and delays are happening to me much more often than not. Maybe I'm just lucky

I just sent some btc somewhere. I wonder whether it will be included in the next block. Let's see, there was 44 minutes between the last 2 blocks so I guess not. I woke up this morning, saw the price had dropped and then checked my bank account. To my surprise the fiat which was coming on Tues. was already there. Wonder what I did? If humans are going to survive for another million years we're going to have to start thinking about things like geoengineering and terraforming. Have you people even considered that?! Humans in their current form have only been around for ~100,000 years. Do you think we will survive our first million years? Posted while playing poker and winning some btc

price looks set up for some Crazy swing...
There will be no swings, just straight bitcoin appreciation. I now have a piece of paper taped to the left side of my monitor

Scaling is not an issue right now. Not the processing of transactions. If you want to make a legitimate transaction, you'll pay a normal fee and you'll be processed in one block.
I don't know how meaningful my example is but here goes...... I actually use btc. In the past few months ~1/2 of my transactions with a normal fee were not included in the first block. My last transaction of 2 days ago was first included in the 3rd block. I used to make some transactions with no fees and those were always included in the first block.

Here's a variation on critical60's, which I've made to have the kind of single stroke that I had in mind. http://imgur.com/fLjkPItIt's a bit badly done, but it gives you the general outline. It works in that I can see both the a and the e while using symmetry. I don't know how much of that is because I know ahead of time what I should be seeing or how much seeing it right off matters. I like the symmetry. I don't have any thoughts about improving it.

that is escalated quickly. whelp i would guess $500 soon. bitcoin exchange in china is already $431!!!1!one! What's up with Coin, it's lower than BearStamp which has been consistently lower than all the other exchanges until today? BearStamp was the biggest block to getting past $400. The price on it kept hitting $399.99 then falling back down. Maybe it's because Coin's market is small that it's price is lower. Coin used to be $1 higher than Stamp but in this recent run up for whatever reason they have been lagging. I bought 3? days ago on Coin @393 while Stamp was 396/7. This was after 2 failed attempts at 400 and I stated I had bought because the third times a charm

... It's like you read my mind in the summer of 2013.
G'on! You didn't get here til Nov. '14. Not fully indoctrinated even then, your second post: But a pump has to come for somewhere, or are we waiting for the Messiah of the "More money than brains club"?
Apparently... I decided early on that I wouldn't join this forum. But the combination of the most annoying troll on earth and the most delusional bulls I've ever seen forced me to put my brave boots on and wade into the cesspit. And I thank you
