941  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Regis Prograis vs Devin Haney on: September 19, 2023, 09:52:51 AM
^ I don't think that Haney has power though, he hasn't proved anything, when he got the belts from Kambosos and Loma it's all decision.
But if we are talking about Regis, yeah, I do believed and we know that he has the power at 140 lbs as he face a lot of good opposition here and has 82% knockout ratio. After his lost to Josh Taylor, he had 4 fight winning streak either by KO/TKO.
So I do agree that this is going to be very hard for Haney, the only way I see him winning his by using his technical skills again and try to outsmart Regis and obviously, not to get caught by that power.
We're also curious if Regis Prograis just had an off-night during his last fight and if he is already past his prime. Devin Haney picked him over lineal champion Teofimo Lopez for a reason. But still, I am hoping that Regis will be back to his usual self and land those big bombs on Haney.

Yes, I do agree, most likely, as least from what I see, he might be just an off night for Regis against Zorilla. But we should give credit to Zorilla, although he goes down in round 3, but was able to go to distance.
And also maybe the clash of style itself, Zorilla adjusted and just give everything he had that's why at least one of the judges score for him in a close and narrow 114-113. But the 2 judges have it for Regis to win the WBC belt.
So I guess Regis can still the pull the trigger and give Haney a good fight.

Let's not forget that they are still human beings like us who will make some mistakes along the road, I believe that the true strong boxers have their own share of losses and it will be their motivation to bounce back and fight like there's nothing to lose anymore. Sure those who were undefeated until they retire are strong but for me though, I'm not really impressed because they chose a much safer way.

This time, we will see if Haney will make his mistake because he chose Regis particularly as he believed that the latter is now weaker compared to Lopez. We will know it soon but I got a feeling that this will be Haney's first defeat.

The venue for this fight is in San Franciso, California which Devin Haney came from. The crowd is probably pro-Haney but hopefully, it won't be the case and they will boo him if he keeps on hugging and throwing illegal punches, especially during clinches.

In case Haney wins this fight. I really doubt the kid stays undefeated for long even if he cherry-picks a lot. I felt like his power is not that dangerous so more and more fighters won't be scared to risk moving forward to land their power shots.
942  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you manage your money on gambling sites. on: September 18, 2023, 02:45:19 PM
Gambling sites are not intended for storing our savings. If they are gambling experts then most likely they know what they are doing. Maybe we can see big amounts in their accounts but we do have different levels as to how much big is big. Drake for instance usually bets around a million for a single game so it could be that $5 million in his account is not that big for him. And he bets regularly so there is no need to deposit and then withdraw every time he plans to make a bet. So it is not really surprising to see regular bettors just keeping their winnings in their betting accounts.
943  Economy / Economics / Re: Business failure among small-scale entrepreneurs on: September 18, 2023, 02:07:39 PM
Any business that lack proper and adequate management will suffer loss, because if there's nothing wrong with the business then the people in charge will mismanaged it and ruined it down completely, when we are starting a business enterprise, we have to engage on business plan on both short and long term running, there should also be a proper means of advertisement for the business promotion and there must also be a good background study of the business location and prospects.

I heard and read about businesses that closed due to mismanagement. It is also quite common when the succeeding heirs fail to maintain their ancestors' management skills. Long-running businesses continue to strive because their founders sent their children to school for proper education while also teaching them hands-on.

Experience gives us the best lessons which is why many people who are new to business fail in the beginning. The most important thing is we learn from our mistakes and from other people as well. Just last week I watched the story of a successful businessman. At first, he was surprised as to why he failed to make a profit and was losing from his restaurant when in fact it was always crowded. What he learned was his failure to manage it properly starting from its supplier of raw goods and materials down to accounting for all expenses incurred which will be the basis of its products pricing.
944  Economy / Economics / Re: How to avoid over expenses and have discipline on: September 18, 2023, 01:40:16 PM
I think the easiest way for those of you who want to avoid excessive expenses to save your money in people who can manage your money, for example if your wife is good at managing money then trust her to manage your finances, in my opinion the average woman is good at managing money, if Do not have a wife, so the choice is your mother, it's much better for those of you who cannot control your desires.

With a note that you know they can control finances, if they are the same as you I think you only have to try more to discipline yourself in managing finances.

It is tough to save money these days since there are too many bills to pay, and if you have children, how do they manage with all the expenses? It is not easy for everyone. You make plans, and then additional problems emerge from nowhere. If you have a good wife who manages money properly, you are fortunate. The majority of women in this generation do not want to work because all they worry about is the male addressing all of their problems, which causes the man to be unstable.

Life is getting more difficult these days. Even if we are minimizing our expenses as much as possible we need another source of income aside from our regular paying jobs.

I believe that having children is a choice so people should also take it seriously. There should be a family plan before considering having a child.

I disagree that the majority of the women in this generation do not want to work. Maybe it is common in your place due to its traditions? Here in my country women just like men go to school and take their favorable degrees to build their careers. So most women here have regular jobs or businesses especially during this hard times.
945  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Jermell Charlo - September 30th in Las Vegas on: September 18, 2023, 01:13:58 PM
It's interesting that in the undercard or co-main event, there will be Ugas vs Barrios for the WBC interim championship 147 lbs belt. Initially though it was supposedly Ugas vs Thurman, but unfortunately, Thurman again back out of the fight and so the man he beat will have the chance to get an interim belt.

And this is the first time that Ugas will fight after Spence f**k him up so bad more than a year ago to get the belt he won against Manny Pacquiao. And as per bookies, Ugas is 4:1 favorite here.

I think this fight might be good in the first couple of rounds, and then Ugas taking over with his boxing skills.
For me Barrios is just a overballoon 147 lbs, no offfense to him, but this is a very tough weight class and it's very hard to survived if you don't have the power.
So maybe in less than 10 rounds, Ugas might win with a KO or the corner of Barrios stopping the fight because of the damage that he is taking.
And it's just weird that he is getting this kind of opportunity though by WBC and fight for the interim belt.
But this 2 fighters are going to be just toyed by current champion in Crawford.

I'm not sure about Ugas after his loss to Spence; perhaps he has become more predictable. Therefore, this fight is going to be interesting. Both boxers are coming off losses, so they'll be training hard to get back on the winning track. The good thing with Ugas is that he defeated Pacman, but you never know – what if Barrios pulls off a surprise?

I personally believe that once a boxer loses in a championship fight, he is never the same boxer again.

If I'm not mistaken, Barrios came from a win mate, against a relatively unknown Jovanie Santiago. So he might be in the momentum here against Ugas. I wouldn't say that Ugas is predictable, he had success early on Spence and almost knock him down with Spence lost focus.

For Barrios, he had losses to Thurman, so I guess we can see that when he tries to step the competition, he somewhat looks very B level fighter as compare to Ugas who has fought and give better fights when he faces tough opponents.

The WBC is once again doing magic for money. Both do not deserve this WBC interim fight. Yordenis Ugas is a good fighter but after being badly beaten by Spence and more than a year of inactivity, there is no valid reason why he gets this shot right away. Mario Barrios does not even deserve a rank in the top 10. Aside from the WBC, I doubt the other 3 sanctioning bodies are ranking him in the top 10. Ugas is already old and inactive but he should be able to win by decision against the more undeserving opponent.

I wonder how much PBC is paying Sulaiman to keep the belt in their network once Terrence Crawford vacates his belts. Although it is only for the WBC interim belt, it will probably help the Canelo-Charlo PPV at least to the casuals.
946  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Regis Prograis vs Devin Haney on: September 18, 2023, 11:57:17 AM
Last time I read, this fight is still a go, but the date has change and it's going to be around December 9. So that is a big push already from the original date of October, but just like the rest of you guys, the question is, is this a PPV worthy for us boxing fans? Or at least they should have streamed this for free?

I mean we have been discussing that they might be losing some money already here and so I'm thinking that it might be good if they will just go for free and so they won't be disappointed with the PPV numbers that will come later.
At least this fight is still happening. I can sense that Devin Haney won't fight Shakur Stevenson anyway even if this fight fails to materialize. And I don't think Haney is a PPV guy. He hugs a lot and he doesn't care about lack of action for as long as he wins. I would rather pay to see Regis Prograis than Haney although the former is not that popular among boxing casuals.

^ I don't think that Haney has power though, he hasn't proved anything, when he got the belts from Kambosos and Loma it's all decision.

948  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Luis Alberto Lopez Vs Joet Gonzalez IBF World Featherweight Title SEP 15 2023 on: September 15, 2023, 11:28:35 AM
I'll watch the fight I want to see great action, Lopez is a good prospect in the boxing world his style is very much similar to Jorge Arce and Fernando Montiel, he is a small guy but loves to mix it up in the future he'll have a lot of great fights and I see him fighting Navarette in the future or even Pitbull Cruz.
I expect Lopez to knock out Gonzalez probably in the late rounds, Lopez loves to punish his opponents before knocking them out just like in his last fight against Conlan.

If you to watch the fight, it will happen tomorrow and the cards will begin @8am PH time. I've tried to search in my favorite bookies as i'm interested to bet and looking on whose gonna be the favorite but there were no odds found in my favorite bookies.

Good for boxing fans in Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines because per Top Rank post, the fight will be aired for free in these three countries.

Quote
The #LopezGonzalez card will stream live & exclusively in Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines.

It's really a blessing that Top Rank is showing its fights for free through Facebook and YouTube. Just like coin-investor I also first saw Luis Alberto Lopez against that arrogant hype Gabriel Flores Jr. And the next time I heard him is when he was given his first title shot against Josh Warrington. I was rooting for him but I honestly did not expect him to win in the UK. Lopez is really underrated and I assume he was underdogs against Flores Jr. Warrington and Conlan.

Joel Gonzales is another popular Mexican prospect but he always loses every time he steps up in competition. He lost to Shakur, Navarette and Dogboe. One thing is sure though, he is one tough contender so this fight might be 50/50. I doubt Lopez can hurt Joet so he better be ready for a 12-round war because his opponent will keep pressing him.

As for Lopez's future, I think he better stay at 126 and try to unify the belts first before considering moving up to 130 for Navarette. Also, an Inoue fight at 126 will give him the biggest money compared to Navarette and Cruz at 135. So he better keep that belt around his waist and try to lure Inoue to move up.
949  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some Countries living behind their century, taking a back sit on BTC evolution. on: September 15, 2023, 11:03:46 AM

One of the big reasons why some countries seem are not interested with Bitcoin in particular and cryptocurrency in general is because they are thinking that crypto can be empowering people and the government will be gradually losing control on many things. Well, we could not blame them all because we in crypto can be thinking of the same thing, instead of just looking at cryptocurrency as just like any other assets like gold, stocks or commodities.

It's sad because some of these countries mentioned by OP are not authoritarian countries like North Korea, China, and Iran. But these countries are third-world or developing and it might need more years before they realize that bitcoin and crypto are part of the non-stop innovations that are happening. Crypto and bitcoin are decentralized but they can regulate it. Maybe it's the insecurities of the leaders and the beliefs that lead them to make a stand to continue controlling their citizens. They didn't know that being too strict and controlling can result in something bad in the long term. No wonder China is not following real communism and its rules will continue to change in the future depending on how they see things.
950  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Preparations for BTC Halving and bull market on: September 15, 2023, 10:30:46 AM
My best advice, in this red market, always have some spare money, some people have already run out of money, they have DCA all they could and they can't anymore, I think this is the different between someone who makes stable income every month compare to someone who make money from unstable sources.

If the projects you are betting your money on are solid you will become a winner, since I've been around crypto for years I don't feel panic like I used to, because I now understand the market better now compared to years before.

Whatever you are planning to do, make sure that before the halving is gone you always have enough money for DCA purposes, your reward will be better than those who DCA twice and waiting on the bull market.

Make sure you don't run out of money.

Yes, it is really better to just make a DCA rather than make a one-time investment. Because we cannot really predict the lowest price of bitcoin it is better to continue accumulating regularly. There are some investors that are buying bitcoin every time it drops big but then it is also 50/50 if it continues to go down or it will start moving upward again. I am doing a regular monthly DCA and I am not stopping until bitcoin surpasses $50k.

I also do not feel any panic this time. What a shame I was brought down by fear a few years ago even though I have seen it in the previous cycles. I guess it is a different learning when we experience it on our own.
951  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cockfighting? on: September 15, 2023, 09:42:01 AM
Cockfighting although I do not support it is still very popular here in my country. It is a regular hobby among very rich people down to the poor. A few years ago when the pandemic blocked cockpit arenas from opening, online betting on cockfighting became very popular and it was reported that its daily volume ranges from double to triple digits in millions of dollars in my country alone.

I wonder if cockfighting can be banned in my country in the next few years since it is also a popular hobby among our politicians. Rich people who live in crowded metro cities that love this sport usually have farms in rural areas for their cocks.
Yes, that is true because, for them, it is entertainment in between their activities. But some can't divide their time between work and cockfighting so they only bet on cockfights daily. They need to be aware of this so they can better think that betting on cockfighting is not a way out to earn money. And when there is a pandemic, they cannot go to cockfighting venues because they gather in a place prohibited by the government. But after the pandemic ended, they started betting on cockfighting again and this is what makes cockfighting still popular in some places, even in hidden places far from regulators.

Cockfighting can be banned everywhere, but that requires firmness from the regulator and showing the reasons that cockfighting is no longer allowed. Maybe they need to gain knowledge that it would be better if the chickens they are betting on could be used as livestock or pets.
Chickens for as long as ive known have always been a livestock and pets for some people, which still end up in a pot of soup whenever an event comes up that requires making them meat..

Betting on cockfights I think is just the same as betting on any other game, even sports like football and the rest, betting on cockfighting is not supposed to be anyone source of income, same way supposed normal bets on sports like football is isn't to be anyone's source of income ..

But its just unfortunate that in the world we live in a world where many people are just out looking for easy ways to make money not minding the risk involved, and such betting happen to be one that doesn't require the gambler doing anything hard,  so it's understandable why some take betting on such stuffs as cockfight as a means of earning, which I highly personally discourage anyway .

It's crazy, isn't it? It's animal cruelty. We know it's cruel in the animal world and maybe chickens at times can fight to the death in the wild. But the fact that some humans are grooming them specifically to fight to the death matches with the audience cheering and gambling it's something not modern. Some animal fighting is also done in some countries but at least it's done underground so it dies in the long run unlike here it is lawful. And these rich people buy and sell quality cocks for around $100k each and many of them just die in a few minutes of fighting.

I have relatives and friends who are into this type of hobby. And I'll probably get bashed by some of them if they read my opinion about cockfighting.
952  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Oguni - October 12 on: September 14, 2023, 01:13:26 PM
Casimero ML @ 1.10 is quite high and it's somehow unrealistic, so I don't think that the bookies will list it like that knowing Casimero's odds in his past fights are more than that even if the fight still looks the same just like this as Casimero still have the upper hand.

So yes, it's somewhere 1.30 to 1.40 in favor of Casimero. Those odds will be worth it already as I don't really see this Oguni as a threat in Casimero's streak. Aside from that, I'll be watching for some options while the fight is getting near.

I'm sure that as the fight goes near, there are many options/markets in the bookies and i'm contemplating on betting for Casimero to win by knockout as he is so serious now on his training and the good about his training is that he won't go anywhere else as he has built his own gym in his own backyard, this way he could save a lot of money and no more nightlife for sure.

Yes, there might be more betting options once the fight is getting nearer. But I understand the odds difference. Oguni's only advantage here is he is fighting in front of his countrymen although the promotion itself is by Casimero's promoter who happens to be Japanese.

If only the fight venue is not in Japan, I would probably risk on Casimero. The biggest upsets happen when the huge underdogs land a huge power punch on their opponents like what happened to Mike Tyson against Buster Douglas. The problem with Oguni though is he doesn't possess that power punch so an upset is very unlikely.

I don't see it as an advantage though because he may be fighting in front of his own crowd but his situation is not easy either because he will be carrying that burden which will turn into pressure as bricks piling up in his head as the Japanese people will be expecting to see something from him and deliver a revenge for those Japanese boxer who was defeated by Casimero. That is a huge challenge that he is into and I don't even see him winning the fight and be that they wanted.

Oguni's chances of winning are really very slim since most of the factors if not all favor the visiting fighter who happens to be a former 3-division world champion. Nonetheless, I still consider fighting at home to be an advantage. There will be pressure to win but that also means he needs to give everything he is capable of in order to not let down his countrymen audience. Although this sport is one of the regular events in their country and we've seen upsets before where their home fighters lost they still give huge applause and appreciation to the visiting fighter.

So hopefully after this fight, Casimero gets his shot at the winner of Inoue-Tapales which is expected to happen in December this year.
953  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Regis Prograis vs Devin Haney on: September 14, 2023, 12:51:51 PM
So according to Eddie Hearn, this fight is still alive but the signed October 28 date is off. Eddie is looking for the last week of November or early December as its new date.

So it was just a push, but still good to hear that the fight is still going to happen despite what we heard with Regis.
Even though the fight was postponed and there is no definite date when it can be held it will still take place and the cancellation of the initial schedule was only due to a small problem that occurred.
The Regis Prograis vs Devin Haney fight has become one that all boxing fans have been waiting for and it looks like the two fighters holding the WBC belt will show a pretty fierce fight.
Devin Haney is the most impatient to immediately carry out this fight.

It's just that Devin Haney wanted to exploit Regis Prograis so he acts like he is in a hurry. Haney had been training already and he wanted to catch Prograis to have less training than the usual 2 months camp.

Anyway, this fight is a go. The final date is on December 9 at the Golden State Warriors' Chase Center in San Francisco, California. So at least Eddie Hearn did not follow the Haneys' request of making the fight on an earlier date which put Prograis at a disadvantage. I'm excited and I am looking forward to the champion Prograis landing his powerful punches on Haney.  Cheesy

The details are already out for the public to know that this fight will be pushed through at a later date instead of what was discussed few weeks before, they made it seem that this is already a done deal so that there are still some room for them to market the fight and gather some hype but the truth is, it's not really that done because Regis said that they are still waiting for Haney's camp to sign the contract.

I wonder why they haven't signed the contract before like what Prograis did. Matchroom and DAZN and not dumb to not make necessary adjustments when needed. The fans are starting to figure out that the Haneys are starting to follow the Mayweather way which is to exploit its opponents, cherry-pick the weakest ones, money first, and try to trash-talk and do some stunts to market their fights. I even doubt Haney will pick to challenge Prograis' belt if he knocked out his last opponent. Not to mention that the lineal champion in this division is Teofimo Lopez having won the WBO belt from former undisputed champion Josh Taylor. And Bob Arum tried to push hard for Haney to face Teofimo but the former want the safest route. Also, Teofimo Lopez is obviously the biggest money maker of all the 4 champions in this division.
954  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cockfighting? on: September 14, 2023, 12:31:54 PM
The sport is already banned in most parts of the world because it's an unethical and selfish sport. People who make cocks fight and those who spectate are basically selfish because they make those poor animals fight to death only so that they can watch and enjoy and place bets and win. There are thousands of other games and sports that they can do the same thing with, they don't need to make those poor animals suffer just for their entertainment.

Social activists and animal protecting authorities should find such places and cease this from happening and they should also arrest people who are involved in cockfighting and also those who are there watching and making bets on the games, this is the only way they might stop doing this unethical act.
Even though cockfighting or animal fighting has been banned, there are places where these animals are used to fight and they do it secretly and no regulator knows about it. As long as spectators and bettors are playing in the fights, the fights will continue and there will probably be more places where the fights are held secretly. The authorities need to check places suspected of being used as fighting venues and perhaps they already have data on bettors from previous arrests.

Local authorities must collaborate with all parties to find where the fighting is taking place to stop it. And even though it takes time, they must keep doing it because otherwise, the animal fight will continue without any inspection from the authorities.

955  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How does an online Foodbetting site sound? on: September 14, 2023, 12:11:21 PM
This reminds me of the Chinese hot spicy food competition that I used to watch, it's been years since I've watched it last, it's all about how bossy you are at eating hot chilies, and there are few accidents where you can collapse and move to the hospital, it's a harmful game but fun to watch.

Within a few seconds, you will start sweating heavily and your eyeballs will turn red, You will be given the option to quit if you can't handle it, but you will lose money, To win, the opponent must quit or give up before you.

Such games are not safe but it's fun to watch, food is good for the body but it can turn into poison if you consume them wrongfully, I don't think it's a healthy game, just my own perspective.
Well you have a good point. Food betting or food eating competition might be exciting and interesting for the audience. But how about for those participants who might be at risk for choking or maybe poisoning wherein their body will react to the various foods that they have been eating. I can see it’s really fun but for me, this is not a healthy one. The bettors might be rejoicing once they win but for sure the participants will have an after effect on their body right after the food eating competition.

True. And these types of contests are happening anywhere for fun where there are no doctors or ambulances in case something happens. Probably the worst I heard about activities like this are liquor drinking contests. And I already read in the news someone was dead after joining a liquor-drinking contest. The guy probably won after consuming too much alcohol but the expenses and the family left behind especially the children will suffer. Most participants of these types of tournaments which is common for fun in communities are not financially well-to-do people.
956  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hodling Bitcoin on: September 14, 2023, 11:04:27 AM
The real intention on why bitcoin was created is for it to be spent. If all people since the start had not tried making transactions then this coin would've been worthless or not this valuable. People are still buying and holding but at the same time, they are also using it. At the moment I am only using bitcoin in my regular gambling activity. Before I also used bitcoin to pay some bills and buy loads which were also common in my country until regulations changed.

Bitcoin halving is happening again next year. So I assume that the majority in this forum are adding bitcoin into their wallets rather than spending it.
957  Economy / Economics / Re: If the global economy collapses what's the first thing you do? on: September 14, 2023, 10:32:49 AM
Sell everything. Except maybe bitcoin and ethereum, I'll observe first before making a move. What I noticed during the middle of the pandemic is that cash is the king. Inflation may be high but it is also expected that most middle-earning investors withdraw their investments just like what happened a few years ago. Stock values plummeted so badly that it is best to sell first rather than sell it at the bottom. Many real estate, vehicles, and other properties will be sold at a discount. So for me, I'll be ready with my cash and then observe the market before starting to shop. Also, in every situation bad or good there are always opportunities but it is for us to find out.
958  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 13, 2023, 03:13:46 PM
You know what the interesting thing is? I feel like if USA brings in that amazing squad, they will not be able to beat everyone with 40 points. I get that they are going to be fine, but I do not think that it will be all that simple. Lebron is older, other nations do have players who he will not be able to guard that well as well.

I think it's quite important to remember that because we are talking about a situation where it is not going to be that easy for them to score. So all in all I believe that we are not going to get that much of a good result, maybe they will get the gold medal again but not as easily as people think it will be. I feel like this is different from the redeem team period, basketball has improved.
Obviously the 10 players we see are or were great players in the NBA at 1 point in their careers, but like you said Lebron is older. Not only Lebron is older , but KD is getting older, dame very old, Kyrie old, and Draymond old. They are still valuable players on their respective teams, but youth is going to wear these old guys out.

If the US sends to Paris a lineup full of mid-30s players then it might end up in a disaster. But I guess it'll depend on the outcome of the playoffs which players are available after a grueling tough season.

Lebron James is the one calling now to join him at the Paris Olympics. It's a bit odd since he's never been in the US team in the last two Olympics which were led by Kevin Durant. Also, Jason Tatum was the second-best scorer after KD in the last Tokyo Olympics. So it's like Tatum (unless he is not playing in Paris) will be sitting on the bench to accommodate Lebron in the starting line-up.

Cheesy

We thought that the Crawford vs Spence might be a much bigger fight than Garcia vs Davis but when it comes to PPV buys, their digits aren't really close to somehow chase the latter's fight on what they did. But yes, I agree, if ever a Crawford vs Canelo fight will happen, there is a good chance that it will be much bigger than them and it could be the biggest fight of the decade as well. How's that?

Yeah, the hypes of Spence vs Crawford are not that much compared with Davis and Garcia. Personal thought is because fans ain't interested
with Spence dramas, it has been long delayed.

Same with you, Canelo's fan based might bring that money plus the fact that interest if how Crawford will try to snatch the belt under Canelos possession.

We need more updates regarding to any possibility of this possible match up to take place,.
Davis and Garcia are two favorite fighters with undefeated records so it natural that their hype is bigger than Spence vs Crawford.
But in the last meeting Davis and Garcia ended in a very fierce battle and the two of them fought in a very epic way where they threw hook punches to knock each other out and in the end Davis managed to make a fatal hook which made Garcia fall to the ground in pain until the referee decided not to continue the fight and Davis earned a knockout win over Garcia.

Canelo Alvarez himself will fight against Jermell Charlo on September 30 for the super middleweight belt and Crawford stated that he would be a challenger for the winner of that fight and Crawford is preparing to move up in weight and jump to super middleweight to fight for the title in that class.

I don't know what the certainty of Crawford statement is but it seems difficult for him to easily take over the super middleweight class in his first fight when this wish is actually achieved.

Tank Davis is just at the same level as Errol Spence in terms of fan base and popularity. The difference is Ryan Garcia is not just a popular prospect but is also a social media influencer. Terrence Crawford's previous PPV numbers were inferior to Spence's. So it was kind of expected from the start that they wouldn't be breaking the Tank-Kingry PPV buys. I don't see anything special during the Tank-Kingry fight. They're both not world champions and the fight was not a title fight. It was no epic and it will be forgotten in the years to come. It's just that their duel was able to take the casuals hence the figures but the Bud-Spence fight will always be remembered in the years to come.

I think Canelo is still the biggest name in the sport so he and Bud will most likely reach a million PPV buys. But the Canelo-Jermell this month-end I also doubt that the fight will reach a million PPV buys.
