How many of them are there? First page, and first 5 pages would be a pretty good indicator.
Page 1: 21 faucet threads out of 40 threads. Pages 1 through to 5 have 61 faucet announcement (or discussion) threads out of a possible 200 threads. While we're looking at new subforums, domain subforum under auctions please? 6 on front page, 57 on first 5 pages.

It allows the power supply to turn on without a motherboard.

There is also the case where someone claims that two people both left retaliatory feedback. Don't even have to display the time, can just be a hover over.

Always nice to see new hardware enter the market. I agree about the 1U spec yielding tiny whiny fans though. Never pleasant.
Will be watching.
I thought that this miner will be water cooled. True or false? If watercooling isn't applied to the PSUs (which seems likely, if only for safety) the PSUs will have whiny annoying 1U fans. The absolutely worst fan on the super-annoying SP10 was the PSU fan. Not having a dozen of them will be nice, but there'd still be one per PSU.
Yup yup yup. Its likely those PCBs still need some airflow as well, although we can't be certain without more pics. Maybe the blocks cover the DC/DC area as well, maybe they just cover the chips.

Look at some of the other current tech SP20, S5, Avalon 4.1 etc.
You can run with a underclock if you want quiet. But I would personally never order from BFL.
SP20s you'll need to get 2nd hand from other forum users, you'll find listings here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=75.0Avalon4s you can get from ehash.com S5s from bitmaintech.com

i received my s5 but after an hour of hashing, one of the hashboard shows 30 "-" (dashes). tried powering up one board and its the same
What is the exact make and model of the PSU you're using? Tried hard restarts [turn off at the PSU]? If that's still not working, you can try plugging that blade into the other port on the controller. Let us know.

They could of kept the miners in a filtered room without dust OR they could of just replaced the heatsinks and fans.
The Chinese aren't wasting money on filtered rooms. That's why they're winning also would adding a back fan decrease the temps enough to slow down the front one?? what if i used one of those fan speed adapters.. im assuming the fan is just a regular 4 pin pwm connector? i have a few of those that come with CM fans that are preset to 1800 and 1600 and 1200. altho i think those speeds are set for a 2500 rpm fan, i think its 70% 60% and 50%
No, not enough to make any significant difference. You could use a resistor cable but I can't think of one which is rated for the 1A+ the fan uses. That's 2W of reduction that tiny resistor has to dissipate, a huge huge amount. Replace the fan if you want to get it quieter.

Please DO NOT place cardboard or any flammable item on top of the Antminer. It can be a fire hazard.
What about some thin plastic like the sides. Does it get hotter on top then the sides? [Unofficial mod] If you choose a plastic type with a Tm of 100C+ you'll be good. Alternatively you could use electrical or duct tape.

Why is that a problem?
He has given negative trust to a number of people who are selling MSDN keys to Microsoft products at highly discounted prices which is financially harmful to Microsoft. Let me repeat his question: Why is that a problem? How about they stop selling things that shouldn't be selling? How about people stop doing things the wrong way? The problem isn't in him (most of the time I guess), it's in the members. it is a conflict of interest. Microsoft is a major source (indirectly because he is not actually an employee of Microsoft) of Vod's income. As a result Microsoft is able to exercise undue influence on him. But that's a projection on you, not Vod. YOU feel that if you were employed by microsoft, you would feel pressured to act as they dictate. That doesn't mean Vod feels and/or is pressured to act as they dictate. Nor - as others have said - would that even matter seeing as what they was likely illegal anyway. Regarding your point that other DefaultTrust'ers have not left negative trust, I'm not sure that's releavent. The inaction of others does not reflect on the legitimacy of the actions of others. The majority of DefaultTrust'ers don't get involved in that style of 'low level' dispute but that doesn't make the ratings are right or wrong. I think it is not against the forum rules to sell MSDN keys, isn't it? Maybe Vod should edit his negative trust in a more appropriate one (he owns the final choice).
If its illegal, its nearly always against the forum's rules. While its potentially debatable whether its criminally or civilly illegal, they probably shouldn't be on here.

Are you tied into hashcoins somehow? Your post history just has a lot of focus on them.
I can't be the only one who find it a bit suspicious that 100% of hashcoins supporters/customers are noobs whose entire posting history consists of hashcoins related posts. Also for the record, Hashcoin's English isn't that strong and the posts don't read like they speak on skype.

Interesting formfactor. Is there any pictures of the current block and loop design? What type of PSUs are those, do they have air cooling? Does that air cooling extend over the PCBs?

If TECSHARE doesn't deserve Default Trust, almost nobody does. Especially not that begging, hectoring collectivist Bitchnellski.
He's not in defaulttrust?

Okay, up and running. Wow. It's light. Surprised to find only 4 PCIE connections instead of 8. I don't see anywhere in the GUI an option to change from CST to EDT. Now to switch subnets.....
And didn't wake up to .1.99 but rather DHCP. Glad I have nmap functional as my new router is a pain to log into.
Yep, default was changed to DHCP since S5s. It makes it a bit more interesting for bulk customers but better for individuals as it will always be accessible without intervention.

I cleaned up the factory thermal paste application and reapplied it correctly on all 3 of my U3s. It made a little difference, each one runs 1-2gh faster than before when run solo, which I can attribute to better heat dissipation. But it made absolutely no difference (as I expected) in more than one working when plugged in at the same time. So now I think I've tried everything. Anyone else have any ideas? The last thing now is to try a different computer or host to see if you can wittle the problem down to controller or U3s.

Should we move back to the S5 thread? Seems like we're discussing the same topic spread across 2 threads now.

Probably if you got the cash to make them deal with you.
ASICMiner, Avalon, Bitfury, Bitmain, Spondoolies, and if your daring KNC
AM has no BE300s, potentially some old BE200 stock but it will be difficult to aquire. Bitfury aren't selling their latest gen and don't have stock of previous. Bitmain will entertain smaller developers (see BW's message above). Spondoolies also does but is between generations. KNC be KNC'ing.

To the public / openly or just 'selling'?

The claim that it is a rebadged Scrypt miner is easily supported. I'm sure it's been mentioned several times in this thread already, but just googling around:
Just to be clear, there are chip markings on the Ares chips, but I had to blank them due to an NDA.

For hookers, beer and throwing a party for 475,204 total members With 1.5 million we could spend a staggering 3 dollars for each user, buy everyone a cheap beer on this forum. How bout lets have a vote 3 dollars in btc each or new forum Jokes aside, looking forward to the new forum Don't do it per user, there'd be plenty of idiots getting 700 beers delivered.
