Hi

I am testing the option of -rxboost and -strap and I have a problem.
I leave two captures, the second card, the one marked has the original bios, the rest modified bios.

https://imgur.com/UwKg9t7

https://imgur.com/zMIhxF8

If I know a monitor emulator it makes me 33.2 mhs and if I remove the emulator it goes down to 29 mhs (less than with my bios modifications that gives approximately 31 mhs)

Do you know if there is any solution for this?

Use a monitor emulator on all cards?

Regards : )

Who has the best settings for Vega64 OverdriveNTool???

You can find your own best settings as each and every card is different and it won't overclock the same.
As there is no way to increase memory voltage. Increase memory speed by increments of 25 MHz until it is unstable.
After this reduce core clock and core voltage in a similar fashion until it starts affecting the hashrate.
Use HWInfo for any memory errors and display monitor to detect if there are any artefacts visible on the screen.

My Vega 56 flash 64 air bios. Mem - 1095MHz; Core - 1246MHz; Cove(v) - 1025mV; fan - 66%

Hi,

Any parameter that we can add to run a startup script?

I´m not finding anything in readme,

Thanks

I am assuming you are using Windows. If so then just drag the *.bat file into your Windows Start button or if that doesn't work then just right click and select the Move to startup folder. If these don't work then you can always run the Run command and type in shell:startup and just drag the *.bat file into that directory.

My advice to you is if you want to run it on startup then you should delay it by 30-60 seconds or so, because I had issues with Claymore starting right away and Windows was still loading other apps and overclocking a few GPUs and undervolting them. So in your *.bat file put "timeout /t 60".

Reason why he didn't put it in Readme is because its outside the scope of the miner program, those that need it to autorun just do it manually.

Hi,

Press WIN+R and type shell:startup

then paste a shortcut to the claymore batch file there to run on windows startup.

Add this line to the beginning of the .bat file to delay initialization by 30 seconds:
msg/time:15 /w * "Delay of 30 seconds. Waiting for windows to start ..."

For example:

msg/time:15 /w * "Delay of 30 seconds. Waiting for windows to start ..."
EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eu1.ethermine.org:4444 -ewal 0xD69af2A796A737A103F12d2f0BCC563a13900E6F -epsw x -rxboost 1

Hi thanks for answer,

What i mean was not the windows startup, but an startup script for the claysmore :  something like:  --startupscript , like other miners have for ex: srbminer

Hi there I am recently switching from Mining Moreno and I am new to Ehterium mining. On my main PC I have VEGA 64 with the latest drivers clocked to 1450 and memory to 1125 with 49MH speed and on my 13GPU VEGA 64 RIG I have 18.5.2 drivers Overdrive Ntool settings with 870mm memory to 1100 and clock to 1400 with 44MH speed. Can someone give me some info if there is a way to squeeze some extra hashes with some tweaks and settings, I have the default mining settings. Thank you

Come on over to Team Red Miner we will help you out and get your Vegas running at 48-49 mhs running their Ethash Miner.

The driver you are using is very old ... you need to install a more updated driver and change to compute mode, otherwise you will not be able to reach good speeds.

Hi,

I use the win10-64bit-radeon-software-adrenalin-edition-18.6.1-june13.

Win 10 64 bit 1703 version.

Seems stable now, maybe was i use vnc remote for seing the rig.

I use ODNT like this:

Gpu  1009@875mv
Mem 1050@900mv
for 8 vega 64

All the system consume 1900 watts.

Have you corrected your problem increase the low voltage for gpu or mem?

Shouldn´t miner restart himself when see this problem? or we have to wait some time?

Best luck for you
