My 7x rigs are running perfectly.. all run off of 1kw PSU..
thats impressive soothaa -- what GPUs are your running ? What kind of down clock are you using too? Uhh these are ASUS ROG RX 570's. Shitty, shitty memory. Only getting ~28MHs per card Running at 1100/1900 at Powerlevel 0

Yes, Elpida. I just copied the 1500 straps originally, but I read somewhere that Elpida works better with 1625 ones, so I'm using those. Looks like I'm trying to get them stable between 1925 and 1950, those scrape on 28MHs.

I had stable for two days on 1990mhz and 28.5mh/s with 1500 straps, now I'm stuck on 1925mhz with 27.5mh/s..will try later today the 1625 straps

It hasn't tripped once so I feel okay with it.. I assume like 100-120 watts per card so that's like 700-840w + the CPU/mobo which is maybe another 50 at most.. Remember, ETH is memory intensive and not GPU core intensive so I doubt the cards are pulling the full wattage anyone stressed tested them at in all the reviews.

Running at 1100/1900 at Powerlevel 0

I'm only confused since On a 1150/1970 my asus 470 is only getting 27.85Mh. Clocked higher, but then again I'm using the 1500 strap on hynix memory. (Using claymore 8.1) But 28Mh at powerlevel 0 is not shitty at all. Great MH to power ratio.

I was unsure if powerlevel 0 was actually undervolting them successfully, but I assumed so as well so I figure that contributes. Now these clocks and power levels will most likely not work for say ZCash or ZClassic.

I could decrease that number if I played with it, but I really didn't take a lot of time to mess with timings once I got it stable on the first day. I never even tried a lower powerlevel to see if it would work! What claymore version are you using?

The 9.3 version. I did not tweak anything at all on the powerlevels. Just crashed them from 6 -> 0 and it was all still happy.

Hello Guys,
I am new on ETH mining and simplemining tool.
My miner is now up and running with a good speed, but power usage is 150 watt per RX480 compared to windows 90 Watt. I saw that the "Powerstage slider" has no impact. Is this working for you? can I add the powerlever per CMD or change it manually over SSH?
Thanks.

Hello guys I've got mining rig with 6x RX470 and I would like ask about some overclocking. First time when I turn on my rig I had 170 mHs with core 1100 and memory 2000. One card start crashing and keep restarting my rig so I put memory on that card on 1990. But after that I have only 165 mHs. So I overclock my card bit more. So I went bit higher on memory 2050. It is very high? But looks like rig is stable not crashing running more than 14 hours. Thank you for answer.

Hello Guys,
I will test smOS and have a question. Have smOS undervoltage functions that have also effect to reduce my 6 RX 470 cards from 1000 Watt at the wall to my normal 860-900 Watt at the wall what i have at the moment with Windows 10. i have sometimes read undervoltage with Linux is not so good working
A other Question, is the OS at the moment free to Test and get i the full hashrate from my cards? Or i have to pay also for testing One Rig?
Regards Willi

It's not fully implemented yet I don't think, but it's setup to be a paid service in future. Check the Account/Deposit page on the dashboard.

Your cards were not using 90watt in windows. They were likely using the exact same 150watts, just wherever you saw the 90w, was only reporting core(?). For instance, in GPU-Z. I believe the powerstage slider has no effect with the default bios. With a custom bios it should work (read that somewhere in this thread...).

For those waiting on the info for the MSI Z170A M5 Gaming board and 7x GPU support I finally have it working on both of my boards.
1) Make sure you're running the latest BIOS! 2) Enable 4G 3) Set PCIe support to "Auto" - DO NOT MANUALLY SET TO GEN1. THIS CAUSES MAJOR ISSUES 4) Enable onboard graphics startup as first! I believe this is changing "PEG" to "IGD" or something in the Advanced BIOS 5) Plug your monitor into the ONBOARD graphics 6) Use either simpleminer-RX-v1093-4.11.rc8-16.60-enableexe0ANDips0.imgc or simpleminer-RX-v1093-4.11.rc8-16.60-enablerc60.imgc (sorry, I don't remember which I used!)
My 14x GPUs have been stable all night long!
So glad someone figured it out! Really appreciate it. Is there any chance you remember which version worked? I'm about to make a bunch of smos SSDs for myself and I'd hate to have to do it all over again when I start adding 3 more cards to my 4 card gaming m5 rigs in a week or two.

To be honest.. I think I have one of both running.. but I don't really know.

I hate to ask for something I can find myself, but I'm having trouble finding either image in the thread. I know I saw those when they were posted...but the search function is failing me today. Could you link me to either image? Thanks!
