Dear Kraken, ripple withdraw again hold on sending, since your wallets empty. Do you for several mouth can't change your withdraw system so coins from users wallet would automatically move on hot wallet to use for withdraw? Or problem deeply like lacking of coins? Weekends tomorrow and you will again hold millions ripples till monday?
The transaction should be failed now and the funds credited back to your account. The ripple gateway is being rebuilt and should be finished soon (hopefully within a week or so). We use more than one hot wallet and the issue has to do with the system not alway switching to a new wallet correctly. Sorry for the problems you've been having - ripple payments should be much more reliable when the new gateway is enabled. Yeah i'm stuck on xrp incoming. My depo is not registering. no reply yet from support. Any chance of getting this resolved sooner rather than later?

Some clients are probably having trouble connecting to the site. We are aware of the issue and working to resolve it.

Also XRP deposit doesn't work You should warn customers about your issue with XRP. From support: There is currently an issue affecting Ripple deposits on Kraken that contain a Memo. The issue can cause any XRP deposits that contain Memo data to be delayed by 1 or 2 business days and it looks like your transfer contained a memo. You can check if your transaction contained memo data by copy and pasting the Tx ID on this page: https://ripple.com/build/websocket-tool/#txTo avoid delays on future deposits, avoid including a Memo when you initiate the XRP Deposit. However, some services like RippleTrade automatically add Memo data to transactions.

Update on XRP deposits and withdrawals
We are currently in the process of migrating to a new XRP gateway. The new gateway will use a new wallet system and should be much more reliable, but it makes the migration more difficult because special code has to be written to migrate funds from the old wallet system to the new one.
Deposits: Currently deposits to the old gateway that are sent without a memo are working smoothly. But deposits sent with a memo are delayed. Note that some services will include a memo even if you don't create one. So "I didn't send a memo" isn't a reliable indicator that a memo wasn't sent. Once the new gateway goes online, clients should create a new deposit address (it will be a deposit address + destination tag similar to how deposits work for stellar). The new gateway will process "memo" deposits promptly. Old deposit addresses will become "deprecated," meaning that payments sent to these addresses will still be credited to your account, but they will be delayed (regardless of whether they were sent with a memo or not). The new gateway should be online early next week - it will be announced here and elsewhere.
Withdrawals: Currently withdrawals result in transactions that have to be failed because they are unfunded (because the hot wallet system in the old gateway isn't working correctly). Withdrawals will not be available immediately once the new payment gateway goes online, because there will still be the necessary step of migrating funds from the old wallet system to the new wallet system. So withdrawals in the new gateway will be available sometime after deposits - hopefully within a few days. But as with all technical projects, we could have further unexpected delays. We are also heading into a major holiday period next week. Hopefully this won't impact the timeline, but it could.
We apologize to all our clients trading XRP. We understand that the situation is not acceptable and we are working to get everything running smoothly. Our payment gateways and wallet systems are designed so that it is very hard for anyone, even our developers, to implement manual or temporary fixes that bypass the existing systems. This was done for security reasons, but in a situation like this it unfortunately means longer delays with transactions, because we essentially have to rebuild systems in order to implement the necessary changes and don't have the option of temporary fixes to keep things moving in the meantime.

Yes - we are working on it. The connection issue should be resolved now. The issue was improper load balancing, so not all clients were affected. Sorry for interruption in service!

When is Kraken going to become a Stellar gateway - ie. where you can transfer BTC to Stellar in the same way that you can transfer BTC to Ripple with Bitstamp? Now that would be an excellent addition.

Update on XRP deposits and withdrawalsThe new XRP gateway is now online for deposits only. If you are trading XRP, please log into your account and go to Funding > Deposit > Ripple. Generate a new address for making deposits. You will be given a deposit address and a destination tag. Be sure to include the destination tag in your payment (most wallets will require you to input the destination tag since we have a flag set to require it). Here is some good documentation on sending payments with the destination tag in the official ripple client: https://ripple.com/knowledge_center/sending-currency/You will notice that your old deposit addresses without destination tags are set to expire. These addresses are deprecated, meaning you should not use them any longer, because funds sent to these addresses will have a long delay before they are credited to your account. Note that XRP withdrawals are not yet available since we still have to migrate funds to the new wallet system. We are working to get withdrawals online as soon as possible. Your patience is appreciated - we are nearly back on our feet with XRP payments and they should go much more smoothly in the future. See the previous announcement below for further information. Agreed - I don't have an ETA for this though, sorry. Multiple Choice: Professionalism? A: Notify users IN ADVANCE that if they depo or withdraw, their funds will be inaccessible INDEFINATELY. B: Give users flashbacks to Nam/Gox by informing them, only after fact, that their funds will be inaccessible for the indefinite future. Hint: the answer is not B.

@ Dargo: you are talking about a gateway. Does it mean Kraken will be a real Ripple Gateway soon? So we can trade KrakenEUR with BitstampUSD for instance?

Replace Ripple with Stellar and then we are talking. The arguments for Stellar over Ripple are considerable- even taking into account that Stellar is essentially T-6 months behind Ripple at present.
