If you have read the whitepaper you will understand more of the history of this project mate. I will give you a brief overview of the project with how i understand it since i am following this since the start. Ubcoin project is an extension project of Ubank. Ubank and Samsung had a partnership deal and in fact the Ubank APP is pre-installed on Samsung phones sold on 10 countries in the Europe and Central Asia if i am right.
