Did you change the ip address of the miner? If not you should be able to hook up the miner right to your pc. Ip your pc 192.168.1.50 255.255.255.0 leave gateway blank. You should be able to reach the miner and change the ip to something that matches your network.

Good Evening All.
Are these HW errors deemed as acceptable? Running at 400mhz. Need to reign it in a little?
HW - 3,678
DiffA - 183,808
DiffR - 640
DiffS - 0
Thanks for the feedback!

The formula is HW / (HW + DiffA + Diffr + DiffS) = % (I learned this from a poster here) A little bit on the high side... 1.95%+ How long has it been running? Try to make sure you have a good PSU and the Ant is not getting too hot. Good luck. I would say anything over 2.15%, I would go to 375MHz and give up 10GH/s performance.

Will get another fan to pull some heat out of the unit. Corsair FTW

I tried to do a little solo mining some alt coins but I keep getting rejects. Is there anyway to monitor cgminer or a logfile so I can tell what happened exactly?
I've selfmined using a bfl single connected to the same pc that the alt coin client is setup on, so I know it works. I have found blocks using the bfl single. To use the antminer, all I changed was the rpcallowip to allow the antminer to connect. I can see it connects on the miner status page and it shows it is working. But every single time it finds a block it's rejected. Any ideas on what I could be doing wrong? or what's happening?

I have 2 s1 chirping like a small jumbo jet in the garage running. All seems fine however every now and then the boxes show in the status all X on every spot where was a O They was doing around 175 Gh after alot of threads about these miners, i decided to change the fan by removing the blue wire from the connector. which made the fan do its max speed. Ofcourse this results in a massive drop in temp. Before the change the box was doing 46 C after the fix the temp dropped to 29 C running at the same 350 Mhz
Since it ran so cool i began slowly upping the speeds from 350 to 375 Mhz which did give a pretty nice boost in Gh. The temp of both boxes stays between 30 to 31 C. Because i saw all seemed to be fine i upped them both to 387 Mhz but one began giving more errors and began running slower so i changed it back after 10 minutes to 375 Mhz The one doing 387 Mhz seems todo fine at that speed, when i up it to 393 i see it hash slower and giving more errors so after 5 minutes changed it back to 387 Mhz.
But my concern is still why did it show all the XXX on the asics while it seemed it was hashing ok. Have to wait what happens now that i changed the fan to run full speed constant.

That has been mentioned in the thread. As long as the miner is still hashing at the same speed then it is Okay. It is just a cosmetic issue. If it bothers you just reboot the machine

All my 3 Antminers (december batch with PCI-E connectors Bitmaintech V1.2 2013/12/4) claim that network cable is unplugged. I tried to reset them, used different IP conf. connected to router. Does it need crossed over cable? Network seems to try to identify itself after power on but then goes back to network cable unplugged. Cables checked with cable tester. I see R24 PWR red diode blinking and C31 green diode blinking
RESOLVED: it was a PSU issue. Clearly Deus G1 600W 80BR doesn't work with Antminer. Right now I'm powering up 3 Antminers with one Thermaltake 1400W.

If you have the Ant overclocked then your HW rate is good, if it is a 350Mhz then take a look at your PSU and connections.

Not surprised it is a double rail PSU that only produces a max of 24A per rail and from the looks of the design the 2 PCIe cables are from the same rail.

The boards are not flashing the green light on the side. Problem with power delivery? I can wiggle the pcie connectors to get one side to work but not both sides at the same time.
Im thinking faulty power adapter to board.

Is the the wire connected to the board? I had the same problem, come to find out the wire wasn't connected to the board.

I have one that doesn't flash green but check the number of asic's on the status page & check the GH/s because if it is like mine it will still be hashing.

Has anyone found a way to do a proper power cycle on these? In other words clear the capacitors - it solved so many hardware issues for me in the past.
Also does anyone know where I can download the original firmware because I want to clear the openwrt install completely to rule out software issues.
This is the error even though it's hashing at 160 at the moment. It was only @ 130 until I just did a reset - the green light isn't flashing on asic #0 but there is still processed work coming from it. [ 174.530000] bitmain 1-1.1:1.0: USB Bitmain asic #0 now disconnected

Add an image of your complete stats to the thread and tell us what PSU you are using and how it is connected e.g. molex, 2 x PCI-e from different cables, etc

Four. I've been searching but I can't seem to find it. I'm hoping someone has it bookmarked. Who was selling enclosures for these? I have some I'd like to run as space heaters, but that green LED is super bright on the newer ants. Thanks

I cant log in to the menu screen.
