@YuginKadoya. Agreed on Gane. He is much too skilled for the Black Beast. I also watched the UFC Countdown and it appears Dana is promoting Gane through hyping the Black Beast as a strong and bad killer hehehe. This interim belt is also for Dana’s new storyline of champion vs. champion where there is history between Ngannou and Gane. They were former teammates before Ngannou left in disagreement with his coach who is also presently Gane’s coach.

Gane will challenge Ngannou for the honor of his coach hehehehee.

I have seen a video of them sparring with each other it seems like Cyril Gane is equally big as Francis Ngannou does, but Ngannou surely has a lot of power in his punches, But Cyril Gane has the skill and the speed to surely counter it, in my opinion, and with Derrick Lewis, he would surely let that out even though it may be a decision or a submission win,

As I am reading their story I never know that they surely have that kind of issue, that their coach Fernand Lopez is seeing Ngannou has an Ego is never really good with his fellow fighter, but I didn't really know that Francis Ngannou had neglected their drill in preparation with the Stipe Miocic fight, I really think that his lost to Miocic is his own fault.

Seems they are becoming a legit organization and no one is complaining about not having gloves. It's not a real challenge to the UFC, but still, it brings some diversity.

First UFC event were also bare knuckle fight. Only on UFC 14 fighters started to wear gloves. Also since UFC 14 mouthguards and groin protectors became a must.

I dont like all the bare knuckle fights, as fighters get too much damage. Glad that UFC switched to gloves. With their "one week - one event" strategy (I know that there are sometimes bigger pauses between event, but that is not that important) and fights with bare hands, fights wont have enough time to heal till next event. It takes months for bones in palm and fingers to grow together and fighter only resumes to train; and it takes several months to prepare for the fight. Such fights will be simply not profitable for UFC, however, they would be more exciting.

Oh yeah, I completely forgot the first few UFCs were actually bare knuckles. Well, it wasn't mandatory as Art Jimmerson showed us XD What an absolute legend. Sure, I agree the superficial damage is worse in bare-knuckle, but the hit impact is also less and that causes less head trauma than gloves with hand wraps inside them make. When those hands are wrapped it's like a cast.

He probably gets paid to be McGregor's little bum boy/get punched in the face by him. I don't think he's fought in the UFC has he? Just Bellator.

He is "a bit" more experienced than just a punching bag.

Like I said - he is (or was) counted as a bjj trainer of Conor McGregor (and according to his instagram, party boy of Conor McGregor Cheesy). His best achievement is "1st Place UAEJJF Abu Dhabi World Pro (2014 brown)". Which a "younger brother" of ADWPJJC (that is a top level of bjj imho).

I'm not doubting his credentials but he hasn't done much in MMA. There's plenty of fighters that might be elite in their respective sports but that doesn't always translate to the UFC. Ben Askren was a champion wrestler but can't box for shit and was always a bit of a one trick pony with his grappling.

Dillon Danis is not even a high level grappler nor a high light BJJ and yet he is coaching Conor McGregor and that shows the petty state of his gym  Cheesy.
I see that one of his and conor buddies Artem Lobov just retired from MMA and same thing is soon going to happen to both dillon danis and conor mcgregor, so that we can all finally rest from all their bullshit.

I'm kinda hoping Khabib actually does fight him again and maul him.
This will never happen in any official fight, but Khabib is training all the time and this can be some unofficial street fight if they continue to post shit on twitter and social media.

Fighting him in the street doesn't seem to make sense to me when it's only going to get them in trouble. If they were going to fight again might as well get paid millions for it. Apparently there was a close call between them recently: https://www.rt.com/sport/513006-khabib-mcgregor-fight-island-near-miss/

I'm kinda hoping Khabib actually does fight him again and maul him. Maybe not let go until Herb Dean prises him off. I doubt he'll rise to Connor's silliness though as much as I want to see him back in the UFC.
This is the first thing I thought when I saw it. Conor seems to be taking every opportunity given to him, to create a divide between him, and the fans. I actually used to like Conor, and support him. Okay, I never really enjoyed him as a person, but his fighting style was immense, and exciting, and you always had it in the back of your mind that he's doing it for show. However, when it came to fighting Khabib, I think there was many lines crossed. Now, he seems to just be throwing shots just to stay relevant, and the fans are sick of it. I really want Khabib to come back, and absolutely humble the man, and I think Khabib is the only one that could do it, and it would be a nice rounded off 30-0.

The annoying part about this business is if he comes back, and knocks out Poirier, and becomes quite dominate again, all of this will be forgotten.

He is - or more accurately was - one of those once in a lifetime fighters that just has something that transcends the sport. He was a great showman and could hype up a fight like no other. He had the mouth and skills to back it up and even seemed unbeatable until his first loss to Diaz. Back when he was in his prime his trash talk was perfect; he never seemed to cross the line and always managed to get into his opponents head. Now he just seems to be saying the most provocative shit and it's got personal which it never seemed to be before.

Apparently Dana has offered Jon Jones a fight with Stipe: https://www.mmamania.com/2021/8/5/22611803/dana-white-offers-jon-jones-ufc-heavyweight-title-shot-bones-responds-mma

I think that would be a good fight for him, then onto Ngannou if he wins, though maybe he's holding out for that megabucks fight, which I'm not sure he will get, or not for the money he's asking. I'd really like to them fight though as I don't think Francis has much competition in the UFC. Hoping he goes into boxing at some point because I'd love to see how he fares against someone like Tyson Fury. Fury is obviously a far better boxer but Ngannou looks like on of the hardest hitters on the planet to me.

it is an easy match for Gane . ( just bet the maximum you can afford on Gane and thanks me later ) . The Black Beast have totally no chance , most of his win just 'lucky' 1 shot KO

And stake having 3X payout rewards promotion.

What the weigh in show live.  It’s fonna start in 20 minutes or so.  Let’s see how these guys look on the scale.  I hear Ode Osbourne is dropping down to 125 from 145.  If he looks good, he could be a live dog.  His opponent Kape has somewhat low fight IQ and low volume with no sense of urgency.

I feel like Jon Jones is going to price himself out of any potential fights. I know there's been hints of his return for a while now, without anything substantial happening. The thing is Jon Jones was a super star when he left, but I think he's expecting a title fight for big money right off the bat on his return, which I'm not sure if that's something that Dana will agree too, and something I would even support happening.

Stipe is the fight to make, however not sure Jon Jones would be willing to do it without having a unfair share of the funds.

If he can Sure go inside the ring with good quality, Ode Osbourne can win against Manel Kape, I think Osbourne is one with the speedy Striking whatever weight class he chooses, But Manel Kape is a stronger opponent for Ode Osbourne in my opinion, he surely has wrestling even though you have said that he has low IQ I will still go with Manel Kape, I really think he can surely take the win here and even though his last 2 fight was a lost, for Osbourne I will surely go with the odds so my take will be Manel Kape that has 1.52 and 2.75 for Ode Osbourne for stake.com.

^  I don’t blame you and I agree with everything you said.  But I don’t see why Kape is a 2 to 1 favorite in this spot.  I wouldn’t lay chalk on Kape after seeing him slow down vs Nicolau.  His cardio could be suspect.  And I like that Osbourne really fights for your money.

Here are the weigh in results.  Everybody made weight.

Derrick Lewis (264.5) vs. Ciryl Gane (247)
Jose Aldo (136) vs. Pedro Munhoz (135)
Michael Chiesa (170.5) vs. Vicente Luque (170)
Angela Hill (115) vs. Tecia Torres (115)
Casey Kenney (136) vs. Song Yadong (135.5)
Rafael Fiziev (155.5) vs. Bobby Green (156)
Vince Morales (136) vs. Drako Rodriguez (136)
Ed Herman (205.5) vs. Alonzo Menifield (204.5)
Karolina Kowalkiewicz (115) vs. Jessica Penne (116)
Manel Kape (129) vs. Ode Osbourne (125)
Anderson Dos Santos (135.5) vs. Miles Johns (136)
Melissa Gatto (124) vs. Victoria Leonardo (125)
Johnny Munoz (135.5) vs. Jamey Simmons (136)

Ceremonial weigh ins happening live in 5 hours or so.

What do you think about this fight: Karolina Kowalkiewicz (115) vs. Jessica Penne (116) ?

In my opinion, this will be an easy win for Penne. After such an injury and such a long break, Kowalkiewicz will certainly not be able to mentally handle this fight. I think it's gonna be easy money betting on Penne.

Honestly, some of these predictions I've got listed below are a coin toss for me. I think there's some close fights mixed in, and the one I'm really not feeling confident for, but looking forward to watching is the Cassey Kennedy vs Song Yadong fight. I think it has the potential to be the fight of the night.

Derrick Lewis (TKO)
Jose Aldo (Decision)
Michael Chiesa
ecia Torres (decision)
Song Yadong
Bobby Green
Vince Morales
Alonzo Menifield
Jessica Penne (TKO)
Manel Kape
Anderson Dos Santos

In my opinion, this will be an easy win for Penne. After such an injury and such a long break, Kowalkiewicz will certainly not be able to mentally handle this fight. I think it's gonna be easy money betting on Penne.
Gone for a finish by her. I didn't check her outright win odds, but I imagine its pretty dire in terms of return.

Kowalkiewicz seems to be happy to be back and says in interviews that she went through the training period very intensively. She may be physically prepared very well, but I'm afraid that after three lost fights and one with such a serious injury, she will not be able to bear this fight mentally. Penne is also tired of her long career, but I think her experience will win this fight.

Kowalkiewicz might get cut if she loses this one, which might actually play a part in the fight. She might be a little more motivated than she has previously, since its never a good idea to amount a big loss streak in the UFC. Unless, your Conor Mcgregor of course Cheesy

I've got most of my women match ups correct recently, except for the type of win, as I usually go for decisions, but there's been quite a few finishes as of recent. That's why I've put a TKO in for Penne.

Well, I am still not closing the idea that Ode Osbourne could beat Kape aswell, but for me, before I pick a fighter that I think could win, I would visualize what may happen inside the ring, and after watching many video highlights in how they will fight inside the ring, In the case of Kape fighting Nicolau, there is an instance that he might gas out that time, well some fighters of players would gas out or sometimes needs a timeout for a short breather, and sometimes even fighters with a lot of stamina could suddenly gas out with them wondering why.

That Derrick Lewis really has a lot of weight than Ciryl Gane, I think that Gane will surely have a hard time wrestling out Lewis.

You have a interesting technique of visualizing who is going to win that is a popular technique for fighters to do before they step into the ring/cage I have never heard of a person betting to use that technique.

Ciryl Gane is the future champion and I do not think that Derrick Lewis has the skill to land a big punch on Ciryl Gane. I watched the highlights of Derrick Lewis finishes last night and I am not impressed by them. I think he was lucky to land his punch on Curtis Bladyes and Ciryl Gane has better head movement than Bladyes.

Majority are picking Ciryl Gane to win the fight and become the Interim Heavyweight champion and even if he wins this one he needs to face Francis Ngannou to be the future champion and then the rumors of Jon Jones coming to the Heavyweight division and if he wants to holds the belt this is the best opportunity and so is the situation with Derrick Lewis, his fighting style and his out of shape body will fool many and one punch could knock anyone out in the division.

My picks for the event are Melissa Gatto to win by submission, Miles Johns, would like to see Karolina Kowalkiewicz win but Jessica Penne could win the decision, Rafael Fiziev, Song Yadong, Angela Hill, Michael Chiesa, Derrick Lewis and Ciryl Gane will not go the distance.

I don't see Bones coming to HW for Gane. He wants Francis because Francis has the appeal to bring in fans that will buy PPVs. No one on this goddamn earth besides some of us die hard fans have ever heard of Gane. There is really nothing Gane would offer in terms of popularity in that matchup.

I think if Kape goes all out and has higher output than his last two matches then def Kape could win.  My comment was more of a fade on Kape at 1.45 cos of what he showed in his last two matches.  I was high on him entering the UFC.  Now I’m not too sure.  But as safe bet, fight doesn’t go to decision is prolly the best.

I like the under 4.5 with the main event.  Lewis’ matches never finished when he lost and a lot of his wins didn’t go the distance.

I never see this kind of thing as a technique I don't know I am just visualizing what may happen because I am watching the recent highlights and recent fights and turn that as a picture of what may that fighter do, but this is not really 100% accurate there are times that I am losing so much I will just base that because of their recent fights, and well I may be using this on betting but as I said it is not really accurate,

and just like you, I am really fond of Cyril Gane and as I am visualizing their fight might turn out just like you Gane will not let the fatal attacks hurt him, there might be an instance that Derrick Lewis may land a strike but Cyril Gane will surely not let the fatal ones land him and Cyril Gane just like the style bender can calculate what is his next move or what to do inside the ring.

UFC 265 poster released and we have all fights confirmed and starting in few hours!
Odds on Lewis are still high but they dropped from initial odds and I think it's worth of betting few sats on him, enjoy the fight and potential high returns.
Don't miss Kape vs Osbourne from early prelims that promises to be interesting fight, and same thing for Green vs Fiziev.

LOL TopTort777 You really think the Bon Gamin could become tired before Derrick Lewis?  Cheesy You're kidding us, aren't you? Did you compare the shape of Cyril Gane and the one of Derrick Lewis? One could run a marathon, the other hardly 5000m obviously...
I think the exact opposite actually, Gane will defend and control during the 2 first rounds and in the middle of the third round he will accelerate and attack Lewis.

As expected the Bon Gamin followed the more logical game plan available like a good schoolboy and easily finished an exhausted "fat beast" in the middle of the 3rd round. I really appreciated how he steadily remained cautious, fleeing like a coward several times, despite all the audience against him.  Grin Dan Miragliotta has been very professional and he didn't let the exhausted beast catch his breath after having drop his mouthguard during the final assault of Gane.
