And I think it’s gonna be a boring fight.  Gane will stay out of range and Lewis usually throws low volume.

Lewis will wait till Gane become tired and will explode with a series. If not, then Gane will win by UD.
Lewis is an interesting guy - he walks and lays on the ground (let wrestlers go side control and then use all powers to stand up. nice trick btw), meaning he does not lose a lot of stamina. Combined with his rare strikes, that is a good tactics.

Skill for skill Gane is better than Lewis in everything.

Agree, but Lewis is as cunny as for  Cool

LOL TopTort777 You really think the Bon Gamin could become tired before Derrick Lewis?  Cheesy You're kidding us, aren't you? Did you compare the shape of Cyril Gane and the one of Derrick Lewis? One could run a marathon, the other hardly 5000m obviously...
I think the exact opposite actually, Gane will defend and control during the 2 first rounds and in the middle of the third round he will accelerate and attack Lewis.

Generally speaking, and I'm not agreeing with TopTort777 here, however muscle generally takes a lot more oxygen, and fuel to keep running. That's why you see heavily muscular guys run out of energy before those that are carrying a bit of extra timber. While I'm not really sure who is in the better cardiovascular shape, I know that Gane, and Derrick has shown moments of tiring, and its down to what happens on the night. What Lewis has in his locker is even doesn't throw massive amounts of value, instead he loads up on his punches hoping to get that knockout. If Gane makes him miss a lot then he'll tire him out, however I expect Gane to be throwing more punches, and will be at risk of tiring.

Gane is absolutely the favourite, but my money will be going on Lewis by knock out.

Nope, I'm not kidding. Gane could run 2 marathons during 5 round, but Lewis with his walking will do the same but with less effort Cheesy They are like rabbit and turtle. If black beast is such a donut, then how the hell he managed to have 25 wins?

Funny to see how people count Gane as a favourite, yet bet money on Lewis. Does it means they see something special in Lewis?

P.S. Shape is nothing in heavyweight division. I remember how Fedor Emelianenko always has a belly (with 10-12km running twice per day and rope jumping), but managed to dominate strikeforce and pride for 10 years.

Probably just because its pretty good odds considering its undeniable that Lewis is capable of knocking out anyone. I thought Bladyes had a easy match up against Lewis last time, being the superior athlete, and having a better skillset, but we all know how that turned out. Lewis is also on a good run of form, knocking out a lot of the prospects, and well rounded fighters of recent. I been quite vocal in the past, that I'm not buying into the Gane hype, and I don't think he's champion material, but I'm not going to deny that hes a good fighter, and Lewis is often underestimated, and proves people wrong, at least recently.

Shape isn't anything in any division. Shape isn't a definite indicator to the superior athlete. I mean, if we are talking about running long distances like marathons, and ultraa marathons the superior runner would be extremely thin. If you take a look at most runners, they are tiny. Its sport specific, and quite frankly being a big guy in the heavy weight division is exactly what you want. Body shape doesn't really play much of a factor in this fight, except Gane will require more energy to throw punches due to having muscle rather than fat. Although, both are in good enough shape for their specific sport, and I don't see either of them gassing out unless its an all out war, which I don't expect from someone like Lewis who throws low volume, but somewhat accurate punches.

That’s the thing with Gane, the guy has good cardio as shown in his last couple of matches vs Alexander Volkov and Jairzinho Rozenstruik both went the distance.  So yeah, the lean is Gane but I won’t be laying the chalk.  He’s at around 1.25 - 1.28 right now depending on where you look.  I’ll just enjoy watching it.  Lol.

I have no doubt that if this fight goes the distance, then it'll be Gane's hand raised at the end, and not Lewis'. What I'm counting on is Lewis getting that KO that hes done time after time recently. Gane is good at staying relatively safe though. I do hope its an excited match up no matter the outcome, since I see this having the potential to be a snooze fest.

Just like you, I will surely enjoy every bit of the fight when Cyril Gane is inside the ring, he surely has good cardio when fighting Volkov, and he has given a genius movement in every fight he takes, he can switch stances, he can sure stay in every single fight I think that Gane will surely aim in burning out Derrick Lewis, and we don't see Lewis ever getting his fight the distance, and when this fight goes that road, you can surely be sure that Derrick Lewis will be gas out.

I have no doubt that if this fight goes the distance, then it'll be Gane's hand raised at the end, and not Lewis'. I really think it will become an exciting matchup, Gane is skillful and would rather make a tactical approach or make this go beyond the distance, While Lewis is just aiming for the TKO/OK, I will definitely support Bon Gaming all the way.

Odds on him to win are amazing, and even better if he wins by KO or TKO, he is in front of his home crowd, so I am taking that bet with some bonus reward.
Not putting my house on him, but lower to moderate stakes only.

Shape isn't anything in any division. Shape isn't a definite indicator to the superior athlete.
I agree with you but with that being said I think that Lewis is now probably in the best shape of his life, and he won last four fights with some serious fighters.

I'm seeing odds for around 4.50 at the moment. That's pretty good for a outsiders chance, and like I said I don't think Lewis will be capable of out pointing Gane, and he's going to know that too, so I'm expecting him to take him time, and when it comes to it try, and knock his block off. Its a decent bet I think, considering his recent history of knocking out as you put it serious fighters. Also, it seems like the bookies agree with my prediction, Lewis is 15.00 to win by decision, and 26.00 by submission while Gane has quite close odds of knockout, and decision. I think Gane will be playing it safe as possible, and be relying on out pointing Lewis though, so I don't expect a KO from him.

Khabib’s reply to Conor’s tweet.

It appears in retirement and in the acts of normal life, Khabib is the hero and Conor is the villain. I never saw Khabib for the type of person he is presently outside of the UFC. I thought that he was always a bully that El Cucuy has always said him to be.

Khabib Responds To Conor McGregor’s Tweet

“When he talked about this, only evil can talk about your father, wife, kids, religion,” Nurmagomedov said. “If you’re normal human, you’re never going to talk about this stuff. For me, I think he post this tweet (while) drunk too much or (he was doing) something. Then the next day, he always delete these tweets. When he become normal life (he looks at his phone) and says, ‘Oh, look what I did.’ Then he delete. This is my opinion what he do all the time.

“When someone is not with us – he is not even alive – this shows what you have inside. This shows how dirty you are. When you one of the best in the world and you come and you punch someone who is like 70 years old, like an old man (in a pub), this shows your heart. This shows who you are inside, how dirty you are. When you have parents and you have kids, how can you show yourself like this? I don’t understand why his close people don’t go, ‘Hey, what’s going on?’”

Well, this is happening more and more. I remember the stigma surrounding bare-knuckle a couple of years ago. Seems they are becoming a legit organization and no one is complaining about not having gloves. It's not a real challenge to the UFC, but still, it brings some diversity.

Everyone can already predict what kind of fight will happen in the Lewis vs Gane duel later, and it looks like the bettors will be more dominant to choose Lewis as the winner, I personally will also drop my money for Lewis' victory and I think Lewis has an advantage in knocking down opponents and made him KO, moreover Lewis has a punch KO which has been proven to drop many victims and until now Lewis holds the record for the most KO wins in the UFC heavyweight category, which is 12 times.

Seems they are becoming a legit organization and no one is complaining about not having gloves. It's not a real challenge to the UFC, but still, it brings some diversity.

First UFC event were also bare knuckle fight. Only on UFC 14 fighters started to wear gloves. Also since UFC 14 mouthguards and groin protectors became a must.

I dont like all the bare knuckle fights, as fighters get too much damage. Glad that UFC switched to gloves. With their "one week - one event" strategy (I know that there are sometimes bigger pauses between event, but that is not that important) and fights with bare hands, fights wont have enough time to heal till next event. It takes months for bones in palm and fingers to grow together and fighter only resumes to train; and it takes several months to prepare for the fight. Such fights will be simply not profitable for UFC, however, they would be more exciting.

This is how true Khabib is, I really like what he said about how he understand Connor so much that he surely ignore it, and always think first before doing anything, and about how Khabib Nurmagomenodov's statement I really think this is humble enough to just let it pass and understand McGregor's side on how he is tweeting something like that that he may be drunk or having the influence of drugs? or whatever the thing Connor is doing to post something like this,

But as a fan of Khabib Nurmagomenodov I really miss him inside the ring for me I really want a reply that we can see him fight again inside the ring but all due respect to his mother's wish this is really good enough and a mature reply to Connor McGregors Tweet.

^  Cocaine’s a hell of a drug.

Odds on him to win are amazing, and even better if he wins by KO or TKO, he is in front of his home crowd, so I am taking that bet with some bonus reward.
Not putting my house on him, but lower to moderate stakes only.

^  Yup that’s a good bet but mostly for fun and entertainment really.  And yeah, it’s not like you already know that you already lost the money with the bet.  It’s live for the whole 5 rounds.  Lol.  I think I’m gonna follow you.  Grin  I mean the pick should be Gane but I’m not willing to lay the chalk.

And Sportsbet.io’s Multi Master Challenge is up btw.  Free money.

Sometimes Khabib Nurmagomedov talks like a philosopher and most of the times he is a funny chap when he is around Daniel Cormier and the language barrier was the reason everyone did not understand him from the beginning. I started watching his funny gym videos and i am big fan of the comedy he does insider and there are several clips and videos in youtube that shows the real person apart from a legendary fighter.

If anything; you should probably bet the opposite to my predictions, I've had a few bad months as of recent. Although, I'm telling myself that Lewis is going to change that Tongue. Nah, I normally do unlikely accumulators just for the prospect of big bucks. What's the point of winning little amounts when you can win big right Wink. For the record, I've never won big.

Derrick Lewis VS Cyril Gane

Absolutely! for me, Gane will surely take the win, Even though Derrick Lewis can make a single punch knockout on Cyril Gane I really think the speed of Cyril Gane is legit and there is no way for Lewis to take Cyril Gane in the speed department and even though Gane doesn't have the strength to Knock out Lewis there is still another way for Cyril Gane to take out Lewis, with a decision or a takedown submission, I guess Gane can gas out Derrick Lewis because Lewis is not used with fights that have gone beyond the distance, right now stake.com's Odd with Cyril Gane is 1.29 and 4.10 for Derrick Lewis, That is why I am going with the hype I think Cyril Gane will win this.

Tecia Torres VS Angela Hill

In this fight, I think that Angela Hill doesn't really change that much and this is a rematch on the first match they have for the UFC 188 in 2015 and Tecia Torres have won that match, so for me, this is going to be a repeat over the last time they fight so I am going with Tecia Torres, and the odds, for Stake.com for Tecia Torres 1.76 and for Angela Hill it is 2.22, that is why Tecia Torres will win this.

Song Yadong VS Casey Kenney

I really think Song Yadong is a better striker than Casey Kenney but Kenney has a beautiful southpaw kick and sure has power but Casey Kenney is struggling with long-range fighters but Song Yadong is really good at timing kicks, so I really want to say is Song Yadong is a faster fighter than Kenney, and he is also a great counter puncher, but Song Yadong is in trouble with a wrestler and that is Casey Kenney is good at, this could be a really good fight to watch and on Stake.com's odds Song Yadong has 2.04 and Casey Kenney has 1.89 not that much on the odds, but I will be going with Casey Kenney for the win.

@YuginKadoya. Agreed on Gane. He is much too skilled for the Black Beast. I also watched the UFC Countdown and it appears Dana is promoting Gane through hyping the Black Beast as a strong and bad killer hehehe. This interim belt is also for Dana’s new storyline of champion vs. champion where there is history between Ngannou and Gane. They were former teammates before Ngannou left in disagreement with his coach who is also presently Gane’s coach.

Gane will challenge Ngannou for the honor of his coach hehehehee.

Francis Ngannou’s coach, Fernand Lopez, spoke to the media on the collapse of his relationship with the Cameroonian born UFC superstar?

Considered as the hardest hitter in the UFC, Francis Ngannou has been on a roll. Since his defeat to current Champion Stipe Miocic and Derrick Lewis, Ngannou has had a 4-fight win streak, all first round stoppages.

However, all does not seem to be well in the Ngannou camp, according to coach Fernand Lopez. He detailed the issues in Francis’ attitude once he began rising to stardom.

Lopez described how Ngannou questioned how he as his coach could back Dana White’s criticism of him. “Being your coach, I have to tell you the truth,” Lopez told the Cameroonian superstar.

Lopez noted that Ngannou acted like he was his own coach and manager. He stated that he had issues with Ngannou refusing to perform certain drills while getting ready for the Stipe fight.

“Everyone is scared of you and wants to be close to you, but I don’t give a damn,” he continued. “If I feel like you have an ego problem, I will tell you that you have an ego problem.”
