Ranidel De Ocampo indeed contributed a lot to the PBA and of course to the TNT Katropa but it's just unfortunate that he never made it to the top recognition of the oldest league in Asia, the Most Valuable Player. Sad to note and wonder sometimes on whether the PBA is fair on choosing a player for that award. Nelson Asaytono, Jason Castro and RDO, those names are deserving for that award but never made it.
Somehow RDO got 2 Finals MVP. Considered also a top recognition and achievement for any player. In Season MVP, it's really difficult to compete here since starting from Quarterfinals to Finals, players stats aren't counted anymore. So even a top-performing player of that conference never reached the playoffs, there is always a chance to be named as the PBA Season MVP. Since you mentioned "fair", I've taken a look at those MVPs during RDO's season (I exclude his Air12 tenure) and I can say that PBA selected "quietly fair" here. Those seasons are the golden days of the likes of Mark Caguiao, JayJay Helterbrand, James Yap and his teammate Jimmy Alapag. About Nelson Asaytono, yes that was in a discussion for a long-time now. He failed to achieve it and take note, he was nominated 5 times. And much worst, he didn't even include in the top 40 Greatest PBA Players of All-Time. Really a frustration on his side.

Having the title as the Bull and yet never win any of his MVP nominations and taken out from the top 40 greatest players of all time. His career from swift /Sunkist and SMB was brilliant as he dominated but unfortunately he didn't got the chance to named as the league most valuable player. We don't know whats the criteria back then but if I remember it correctly he have the package to earn one.

Do you think guys, he can make it this season? https://www.spin.ph/basketball/pba/ray-parks-defensive-player-of-the-year-goal-a795-20200420?ref=feed_1_sectionRay Parks vows to put in work as he eyes Defensive Player of the Year award I think he can't focus on his offense if he is focus on getting the defensive player award as it would consume a lot of energy and focus as well. Ray Parks is a good scorer, and I think that's what TNT needs now as they don't have a a player that are consistent in attacking the inside and with Ray Parks athleticism, I think he can do that. It's good to have a goal and i admire him for acknowledging that he is weak in that department. You solve 50% of the problem if you know what it is so i think Parks will work hard on this one, it can't be achieve overnight but at least he is working on it. They have a saying in basketball that "good offense will come with good defense", so i think he won't worry much on his point production. Ray Park winning the defensive player, the odds are low IMHO. However, he can still help his team without thinking of winning the award, it's kind of individual recognition only, I think he needs to focus on his contribution to the team as TNT has been struggling especially in the elimination as they don't have a lot of players who produce points consistently. POGOY and Castro are the most consistent, but if castro would score much, he might sacrifice his passing so they need Ray Parks to produce consistent points. IMHO, i think he should also do something about his attitude. He's too proud IMO.
Attitude for me does not matter as long as he can show it in the court, just like Abueva, he has a tough attitude but he can really help his team to win.

If that's his mission, then so be it and hoping for his success. That's a big statement and he also involved 2 NorthPort former top players which aren't actually necessary. And coming from an ACL injury, I really hope Bolick will come back to his shape. That injury is not a joke as even his mind is really determined to push for the goal, his body might not cooperate at 100% in the process. NorthPort basketball team operation should also do their best to surround their key players with good supporting players. They are always behind in terms of overall team performance for years.

When Romeo, and Pringle failed to do it so then how he can. I am not against this guy but what he wants to accomplish is something that requires a good team, good coaching and not a single player alone. I just wish that this loyalty he has for his team may last long till he achieve his dream championship, and I appreciate his ambition. You know, someone can easily be swayed by money, and sometime someone can be traded off for a couple of good players. I think we can make a run. May dalawang big kami. May banger kami – si Kelly at Christian. I think we can make a run for the championship.
I want to highlight his statement. On contrary, again, he needs a good coach, players rotation (since they can't play all time long, they get gassed out either), playstyle specially in playoffs since the game isn't about how good the players are it's team game, after all. Anyway I just hope he get what he want but I am still rooting for TNT.

NorthPort has been regarded as a farm team of the SMC group of companies because of the way the treat their players. How come you traded the likes of Pringle in exchange for a little worth of a value. I hope things will change upon the arrival of Cstand, the most promising player Batang Pier ever had. With Cstand and Sean Anthony healthy, Bolick's statement of getting that PBA crown is of high probability specially in this Philippine Cup where it is a wide open race while JMF is out. If only he is healthy on the previous Governor's Cup, i think they would give a good fight against Ginebra. I just hope that there will be no more changes on the current roster of NorthPort at least at the core. The management should rebuild the team around Cstand, Bolick and Anthony.

Not much to rely on to get into the Finals, but let's see, for me, these three are also good but only Cstand is the most consistent player among the 3. Anyway, they can actually improve if they want to, hopefully the problem is not on the coaching staff too as Romeo and Pringle are really doing better now on their respective team.

~ I just hope that there will be no more changes on the current roster of NorthPort at least at the core. The management should rebuild the team around Cstand, Bolick and Anthony. Aside from BGSM and SMB, these is my 3rd bet in winning in the Philippine Cup because if their roster. They are one of the best rosters right now in PH cup. I just hope that they will not make stupid decisions again within the season because it is good already. Cstand, Anthony, Bollick and the rest will help them. Anyway, are you somewhat lonely like me that we can't watch any PBA games right now . Anyway, they can actually improve if they want to, hopefully the problem is not on the coaching staff too as Romeo and Pringle are really doing better now on their respective team.
I'm not sure why Romeo left the team. Maybe its because he isn't happy already on that team that is why they choose to trade him. With regards to Pringle, I think the reason why they traded him is because of the fight between him and his coach way back 2017-2018 I think.

With his full dedication and with his teammates help who knows what will happen to this team, way back with Romeo and Pringle they almost reached the finals though Alaska kill the fun, we never know what will be the future of this team the management needs to provide good help for bollick if he's really aiming to achieved this goal.

They need to, in fact getting C Stand is already a big effort for the management, and Tautuaa is not really a bad player but it terms of IQ and overall performance, C Stand is a different player where we can call a legit big man. Bollick will be able to penetrate as he can pass the ball anytime he is in trouble, unlike before that they have no reliable big man, so this is exciting, with their words going out, let's expect they'll show it in the court.

Don't know on what the management thinking for trading romeo and pringle since by now they are rebuilding up again, It's a wrong choice for them instead of investing in their circle and just add a inside defender the select to trade and got the fresh legs. I don't know if they can be a contender since I'm not impressed on their current rooster although King lion and C.stand is there still their game chemistry still questionable since they are new and the pressure is so high on them.

I think they'll not be able to add anymore since Romeo and Pringle are paid with a good salary. And they have attempted many times but they fall short against a team that is complete, Romeo and Pringle playing together can easily be predicted, so instead of keeping them, the team decided to re build, and besides, Romeo and Pringle are not getting any younger anymore. They want to build on the younger players. I don't know if they can be a contender since I'm not impressed on their current rooster although King lion and C.stand is there still their game chemistry still questionable since they are new and the pressure is so high on them.
will see, with C. Stand addition, that's already huge, remember what they achieved last conference.

Very huge, C. Stand gives a lot of improvement to the NP team, they went to Semi-Finals against Ginebra and although they lose, but we can appreciate their improvement as Ginebra is such a good team with a solid foundation already, the thing is, C. stand's effort is quite close or even better than their import, so he will be a beast in all Filipino cup. This is just a start, if they keep this team, they'll achieve more.

No wonder he's overall number 1 pick, after all, so he really needs to show the capability of top pick not to mention that he had a good team with a good coach wherein he grew up more. But now that the surroundings with him are entirely different he could give more compared to his previous team even though he don't have to give all, the team itself is already strong, IMO. The problem is that C. Stand is quite hot headed that it could put him in trouble.

He was playing abroad so its expected that their training is more advance compared to the Philippines. prior C. Stand got drafted in the PBA, he already has a lot of experience, and he was already doing well with the Alab Pilipinas along with Brownlee, so he is like an import, a big man with so much skills that's why SMB got him. The problem is that C. Stand is quite hot headed that it could put him in trouble.
Not as hot headed like Abueva, this guy has a very high IQ in the court, he is not soft, he can go physical with any player, so in playoff time, he is very useful.

Yup, Cstand never struggles as a player but the only problem when he was in a SMB uniform is that he has limited playing time with them. In fairness to Austria, he do his best to fit Cstand in their system but unfortunately his playing style is not a good compliment to Fajardo. The trade to NorthPort just bolster the stock of Cstand as he fully showcase his capability on his new team. That trade is truly a win-win for both parties. With Cstand playing like an import on a importless conference, no doubt NorthPort will break team records soon. I just hope that no more idiot move on the management side.

They haven't trade Romeo and Pringle immediately, so they will certainly test C. Stand if he can bring success to the team. Getting into the Semi's and Finals is a great achievement, I hope North Port will be able to achieve that with the current line so they will not again experiment by trading their players. For sure, if they decide to trade C. Stand, a lot of team would interest on him if he remains healthy.

I just remember how Romeo and C.Stand helps SMB they've got the 1-2 punch that really works, I love seeing this two sharing the ball and finding each other when creating a play, both players are dedicated to contribute, and with Pringle who also have the same passion. No more trades just the coach if possible..hehehe kidding aside, all Filipino is really interesting without Junemar.
