Since the last post, the biggest news was Conte lost his job as Tottenham manager.

Here are the games being played this weekend and every day until Wednesday in a frantic rush of games with Manchester City needing to beat Liverpool to close the gap on Arsenal to 5 points and keep their chase for the Premier League title going.

Conte has been in the news for a long time that he will soon be leaving Tottenham because his performance was not optimal so he could not give Tottenham many wins and this news is true.
In this week's match there are 2 initial matches that are quite awaited, namely the Manchester City vs Liverpool match
Arsenal vs Leeds United
these two matches will be exciting to watch because they are a big team that has the top rank in the temporary standings in the 2022/2023 English Premier League season.
I will not leave the bet on the match tomorrow.

I am not sure why Conte took out his disappointment on the players and then mentioned the owners in that press conference but it seemed as though Conte maybe wanted to get out of the job and his rants towards the players and owners directed towards it. Let us be fair, he underwent heart surgery and probably needed more time to get back in to the demands of day to day managing.

@JollyGood his sacking was long expected, and I’m surprised that Tottenham stood by him for so long because in the last few months he was calling out to be sacked. Also Manchester City will probably win this game because now they can’t afford to drop anymore points but I wouldn’t be surprised if Liverpool ended up drawing this match too, as it’s evidently clear that they are not at all consistent this season hence I would avoid wagering on them.

RESULT:

Manchester City 4-1 Liverpool

Liverpool scored first courtesy of Salah on 17 minutes but Manchester City took control of the game and ended up thrashing Liverpool by scoring four goals and winning the game 4-1. Manchester City are now just 5 points behind leaders Arsenal and have +5 goal difference. Arsenal play Leeds United today at 3pm and can increase the gap if they win or draw.

Re. Salah salary

If you've been following Liverpool games closely since the world cup break, you'd probably agree with me that Salah has been the team's best player and the only quality. However, the midfield and defense need to be completely overhauled, as those two positions are where the attackers and Salah are lacking support, forcing them to drop deep whenever they lose the ball.

If the club can sign 2-3 good midfielders this summer, they may be able to recover; they have a world-class coach who can turn things around quickly.

Do you honestly believe Salah does not deserve a weekly salary of £350,000? In this crazy transfer/football business right now. Salah's talent would easily earn him more elsewhere.

FYI: Manchester City has verbally agreed to raise Halaand's salary to £400,000 per week for someone who has only been at the club for a few months and has won no trophies.

Ever since he signed the new contract his productivity has dropped and his goal ratio, well that would be an interesting statistic.

If the club can sign 2-3 good midfielders this summer, they may be able to recover; they have a world-class coach who can turn things around quickly.

If Klopp stays around and the club owners allow him to completely overhaul the squad then maybe Liverpool can recover but on current form they will make it to the Champions League next season as they will not finish in the top four Premier League this season.

They have the funds to offer him what they want and it will not lead to disharmony within the club. I think he will want to head to Real Madrid at the end of next season because his those hints already have been dropped.

Chelsea took a massive step backwards today after a set of good results by being beaten at home by Aston Villa. Both Manchester City and Arsenal scored big wins. Both Brentford and Brighton sit in 6th and 7th place in the table, they are just 6 points away from a Champions League place and they deserve all the plaudits for their displays in the league to date.

Despite the team's poor performance, he is still the highest scorer and top assist in all competition for Loserpool this season; he is still their player, but as you stated, his productivity has dropped because he is no longer receiving support.

No club wage structure lasts forever, I remember Chelsea protecting their 200 wage per week until Toress came in and broke it and pocketed 250, so it was only a matter of time for Liverpool to find someone worth enough to break that, and I believe Salah deserves it statistically.

Isn't it clear that Potter is dragging the club through the mud? It's been over 6 months and the players are still being rotated, he made selections based on favoritism rather than hard work, we've never had it this bad and we just want it to end because there's nothing left to trust, the players aren't happy, and the fans aren't. We don't mind having Mourinho back for the third time to get us out of this mess. A skilled coach could work wonders with these players.

Well, Liverpool only needs to overhaul some part of the team to start cooking, so the FSG should have no trouble funding the team next summer. If they don't get it right and support the manager, the club may revert to pro-Klopp erra.

It is Liverpool 's home, that would be difficult, but Arsenal should prepare very well because I still always have trust in Arsenal this season and likely they would be the club that would win the English Premier League. Let us see what would happen. The prediction site that I checked took draw but we do not know what this match would end in score, but I think going for over 2.5 is good for this match.

Liverpool tends to play well vs better competition at times this season.  They did it vs Man United and a couple of other big clubs when everyone started to think they'd be losing again.  I'm not really sure if they'd be able to do a thrashing vs Arsenal as the Gunners have been playing well this season but then again the match is at Anfield...  Could be a close one going back and forth with the home side emerging as the winner.

Draw no bet for Liverpool at 2.02 is a decent line imho.

Liverpool have had a dismal season, getting a win over Arsenal will definitely bring some sort of joy to their fans and will at least indicate to Klopp, the team and the club that they are on the road to recovery. Arsenal are playing very well, it will be a good game to watch.

Newcastle United keep up their impressive run as they fight for a top 4 finish to the season and seek qualification for the champions league. Manchester City won away at Southampton to pile the pressure on Arsenal today as they travel to Liverpool.
