My miner perfect work at a frequency of 268.75 - 275, and outputs the 2500-2700 ghesh

WTF? that's pretty good. Did you have to change the voltage too? Does yours run stable with no X's for a long time?

dont believe some like this, without powerful psu thats meanless..

I don't mind but others might.  If you feel you should create a New Topic, please post the link to that topic here for me please.

Thank you.

Well, to avoid causing any stress, I posted it here:  http://asic.usertalk.info/index.php?topic=159.0  (that is a lightly used forum I maintain)

Cassey

Thank you!

Sorry late thanking you...

I'll have a look at topic tomorrow.

Still involved with trading coin...

There is absolutely no way to push the mhz to 275 on the supplied PSU. Hell, I can't even get it to run 250mhz and I'm on 220-240v (lower amp draw) in Singapore. The best I could get it to run stable is 231.25mhz at 0725v. But watch the tempreture. Mine goes up to 63-65C which I believe is still ok (there must be a reason why the cut off is at 80c). As long as you do not switch pools, or restart (not hard reset), the X's don't appear.

I would have to agree with you.  I have 16 S3's and 1 S4 at the moment.  4 more S4's are on the way.

I did notice something that caught my eye when you said, "no X's"

I know this is an S4 forum, but one of my S3's has a dash at the end of the zeros.  what does that mean?  "00000000-0000000-"

I've ordered 1 already and got it on the Nov. 14th.  It's been doing great for me.  I have 4 more on the way.  I've mounted 3 PDU's today on the wall.  About to install a cutoff switch and run three 240V/30A circuits to it and then into the closet once the S4's arrive.  I will keep mining off my 120V/20A until then.

Cat6 cables waiting to use.
Mounted PDU's with a gap from the wall to allow power cords to go behind them.  A blue cord is already behind one for show.  I did accidentally unplug it while installing the PDU's approximately 6.5 hours ago.  However, what concerns me is best share is ZERO

EDIT:  Switched from Slush to Eligius and immediately I have shares.

EDIT:  I went back to Slush and still best share is ZERO.

I get paid for the TH/s at Slush.  However, the best share is always ZERO at Slush.

I may switch to Eligius as soon as other S4's arrive.

My S4 ran perfectly for a few days but is now getting x's and significantly reduced throughput.  e.g. 3 x's is costing me about 10% hashrate.

This is happening at stock speed, at both .720 and .725 volts, with the same chips dying.  Takes a few hours by the way for the chips to go offline.

http://puu.sh/d0D9J/338e2c960e.png

Any suggestions?  I'd like to see 2TH again.

You might have to do this and settle for 1.8 Th/s:  If you read a couple of posts before this one I quoted, you will see the reason why.

Others perfecly normal only J7 connected hash board is unconfigurable, if you want to proof of that disconnect this board power cord and you will see chain 1 is gone and look at your power wattage. or try to configure voltage and repower again. i have 2 S4 and all of them have same problem.
and i found best configuration and best efficiency = 187.5 Mhz at 0.685 Volt (you can add this value like that = 0685)
this is the best...

Wow!

So, you recommend all of us with batch 2 to switch to 187.5 Mhz at 0.685 Volt?

Will doing this lower my hash rate?

If so, by how much will it lower the hash rate?

Smiley of course that is lower than 2Thash but also eat lower energy Wink and also lower Temperature and lower noise Wink
like 1800Ghash 1060W

i think that voltage adjust problem is master reason of psu's blowing because developers unexpected situation like that.
they put a 12V 120A top limit psu and they expect 1200w power usage but not, some of hash boards still working warning limits...

NOTE:  He said 1800Ghash @ 1060 watts.

I think he intended to say, "12A and 120V" instead of "12V and 120A" but I could be wrong.

Okay

I'll reboot and see what happens first before doing a reset.

EDIT:  REBOOTED AND IT"S STILL THERE

May have to do a hard reset like you said.

I really think it's the multipool. It's probably a firmware issue. As I've said before, once it switches pool a couple of times, X's starts appearing.

Why don't you try a non-switching pool and see if the problem comes back? If not, then you have your answer. Smiley

Easy to do!  Will let you know.

OK - switched to antpool.  Will let it run overnight and see if anything appears.  Odd bug though if that is it.

I have 2 more on the way. More by the end of the month. I think what Bitmain miscalculated was the amp draw which I believe caused the batch 1 psu to burn. China uses 220-240v just like in Singapore and with 220v 1400w max, it's only pull 6.36amp, but with 110v, it's pulling 12.73amp. That is a huge difference if you were to ask me. But looking at your new 240v PDUs, I doubt you'll have problems. I'm no eletrical engineer and my knowledge is very limited. So, please take whatever I say with a grain of salt.

You're welcome.

As for Slush pool, it does show the best shares, at least for me. And I decided to turn the air-con on at full blast hence the lower temp of the chips. It's burning hot right now here in Singapore.

It makes sense what you are saying.  I'm using 120V (110) now while I wait to purchase more S4's on the 29th of November.

I'm curious if Prelude is using 120V or 240V?

All 16 of my S3's are showing best shares in the millions but my S4 still has zero after pointing it at Eligius and then back to Slush.

I issued a ticket with Slush Support.  Hopefully they get back with me soon.  I'm still getting paid for my Hash rate.  I just doubt it ever finds a block though.
