Yes, Bitcoin will
Maybe now there are some people who say that bitcoin will replace fiat currency in the future, but I never thought it would actually happen because I know that the nature of bitcoin is very different from the nature of fiat currencies in general so it is very unlikely bitcoin can replace fiat money, I think in the future bitcoin and fiat currency will continue to go hand in hand because both of them have received high trust from the public.
And yet, it can be possible but not that close to reality. People will just love to use fiat money, not cryptocurrency. Although many were in the interest of having Bitcoin in their life but just only for investment, not a currency to use. That means that they will still stick to fiat rather than spending their Bitcoin to buy stuff.
Even me, I'd never use it as it wasn't yet accepted to our place. This is a common reason why that was too hard to think that Bitcoin will replace fiat.
2042  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 01, 2022, 03:56:56 PM
Ok Warriors vs San Antonio games later. With Warriors fresh from winning against a touch Rockets and Curry scoring 40 points, I think they can win this game against the Spurs although this is back to back for them.

So I'm seeing -2.5 for the Warriors, Curry might not score 40 points, but this could turn out to be a good game with players like Thompson and Wiggins stepping up and helping Curry.

They are fresh from winning but the Spurs are the real fresh here because the Warriors could be tired due to a back to back game. I can't gamble on the Warriors with this kind of odds, I feel there's something that will happen here which the public does not expect and that is the Warriors losing to the Spurs.

The odds are deceiving but it's still hard to bet against the Warriors, if you are not so sure and you are just speculating that maybe it's just a trap or something, then I suggest that you stay away from this game.  Smiley
2043  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: February 01, 2022, 02:57:57 PM
Some good news to Filipino boxing fans out there. Seems like Casimero will be heading to MP Promotions again if things will be okay with him and Sean Gibbons. We can't deny the fact that Quadro Alas is one of the most popular boxer in the Philippines right now because of his antics and boxing style, also the personality and we can say that he is one of a kind so MPP should have him back as Casimero might be their cash cow in the next few years.

Quote
MP Promotions President Sean Gibbons is reportedly trying to patch things up with WBO world bantamweight champion John Riel Casimero before the Filipino’s next fight against Paul Butler on April 23 at a yet to be determined venue in Liverpool, England.

Good for him. MP Promotions will take care of everything. It's just that Casimero is surrounded by so-called professionals who don't how managing a boxer should be done properly. I hope Casimero will consider that. No more room for any doubts.

So the venue is in Liverpool, England. I thought it will be in the US to somehow get a good live crowd at the venue.

I agree, it's a good call if he will remain with MP promotions, no offense to Probellum, it is a good boxing promotion with Richard Schaefer at the helm.

But I think Casimero will be at home if he is with MP with the rest of the Filipino boxers. Sort of a family. There are reports that Donaire has something to do with him moving to Probellum, but Donaire has been close to Richard before so it make sense for him to move without hesitation. In any case, Liverpool it is, no doubt that Casimero will perform good at hostile crowds.

I think if Casimero was happy with MP promotion, he would stay with them, but it seems like he is not happy or not satisfied at all since he is not getting big fights under the promotion. With Probellum, maybe there's a bigger chance for him to fight Inoue which really is his main goal for now.
2044  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 01, 2022, 02:40:26 PM
We have the Phoenix Suns vs the Nets tomorrow.

Durant is out, Harden is questionable, but if he will play, he and Irving will tandem and they will give the Suns a good competition.
As per the betting lines, Suns are the heavy favorite to win, but I think nets would be able to give a great game here as long as Harden will play.
I'd be rooting on Suns here even if Harden comes to and I guess Suns will continue that winning streak of 11th game. They are 1st on FG%, 4th on 3P%, 3rd on Points Scored, and 5th on Total Rebounds, those are impressive stats for a team right now. Chris Paul will continue dominate the West I guess maybe a back to back POTW for him. By the way, their head coach will be the head coach of Team Lebron this coming All-Star and that's why they are the heavy favorite for this upcoming game with Nets.

They might be able to continue their winning streak but I doubt they'll be able to beat the Nets by more than 7 points. I'm talking about the betting odds as I will not only watch this game, I will also put a bet on it. Nets are in a 4 losing streak, so Suns are playing a desperate team here.
2045  Economy / Speculation / Re: Always have an exit strategy on: February 01, 2022, 02:21:44 PM
An exit strategy in my opinion needs to be a backup plan than a primary one. Because we don't know how exactly will be the market move. Everyone wants to sell high and get back into the market buying low. This can be made possible with time and not immediately. If the market is in large scale fluctuation, this might be possible. So, here we need to use the real exit strategy or the backup plan to cut the loss if market moves were against our prediction.

Hahaha, but I believe OP is following the wrong back up plan. In fact, he is following the WRONG PLAN. What he’s doing is selling his Bitcoins back to the market, back to the billionaires who will HODL them, so he can earn more fiat? He should constantly be saving, and bought the DIP during the day he made this topic. DIPs are opportunties.
absolutely right, it seems he made a wrong prediction, so he made a decision that made the sale wasted, the plan did not go according to his wishes and was too forced in my opinion. In fact, if viewed from the perspective of opportunities, this decision must be taken when bitcoin is almost strengthening, but the current situation is the opposite, there is no guarantee for the market to strengthen bitcoin.
Well, perhaps it does and most the holders will think that selling is the only way to save their money from losing it entirely.
No, nothing had made the assurance in the crypto investment and due to its volatility, the majority of our predictions went wrong. But then, we can't be hopeless of what we saw in the market today as this can be changed in the coming days, only we need to do is to have patience and stay calm.
2046  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good time to buy? on: January 31, 2022, 10:51:55 PM
With the current conditions of the crypto market, I think there is a lot to think about before continuing to buy Bitcoin, I have unfinished belief for Bitcoin which is much more than $20,000 minimum.

Personally I'm not sure this is the lowest point, there are even more satisfying points in my opinion this year.
We'll determine the lowest point if it ever comes. But for the meantime, when it had to the lowest which was around $33k, that's already the point of others that have been probably set.

And right now, it had hit $38k and trying to force itself out of that line to get into $39k. But if you think that it's not yet comfortable to buy, you really have to wait for another low price point. It will be a matter to yourself if the recovery continues to push $40k upwards.
As seeing the market trend not to wonder that some people will ask "Am I late to buy?" I could understand that these people who keep asking when to buy and when to sell are those who certainly are in doubt about crypto. They become undecided as they new know well about the market and that kind of sentiment pished me off.
Because the point is that if we can buy at $40,000 during bullish, we can also buy at $30,000 during the bear market. The profit won't be instant and that is why we hold.
2047  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 31, 2022, 04:58:54 AM
The problem was their defense and that has been their problem for the whole year now. I do not know what they can do to fix it,

The Lakers' loss is not because of poor defense but Atlanta Hawks just really did a great job. There's a good Lakers defense but the Hawks always find a way to drain each of their shots especially during their run. Nailing shots even defended well is what they did.

In that game, I will prefer to discuss how the Hawks win, and not why the Lakers lose.

The Lakers also had a good field goal percentage this match. However, they grabbed fewer rebounds than the Hawks, and their free throws were awful. I would even say that the Lakers made free throws like Shaq. As for me, this was one of the main reasons why they lost this game. At least if they had scored 11 easy points from the free-throw line, then the outcome of the match could have been completely different.

Every time the Lakers lose we always have something to say, in short, they are not really doing well and they are disappointing us. Having a losing streak is not a characteristic of the Lakers, it only started this season because they welcome new guys and send their role players to the other teams which the other teams have benefited.

2049  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB to $1k? on: January 28, 2022, 09:52:33 PM
I look forward to the day when BNB will be $1000. There are some stirrings after the recent regulations. $390 became the resistance point.

$1000 is not an unrealistic price, however, I think it won't be happening this year. We have to wait for the next bull run for BNB to break its ATH and I think this year is going to be bearish so save some funds for accumulation while waiting for this very wondering price to happen.

In the volatile market period, BNB is the only cryptocurrency that I have not lost hope for. I set a target of $750 for BNB at the end of the first half of 2022. We will evaluate this together in the future.

Volatility is here whether the market is bullish or bearish, but if the market remains bearish, that $750 is not going to happen as well.
2050  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it the end of crypto? on: January 28, 2022, 09:32:40 PM
Do not be too quick to make conclusions, because in trade, it is commonplace for prices to rise and fall. I think the currency is growing from time to time...
Normal to see people having their conclusion quickly.

But just look at bitcoin now, almost near to $38k again and that's a good price to see after a big correction that has been made. If it's the end of bitcoin then there's a chance that it will be the end of all cryptos.

Although there are the cryptos that are dying eventually because they have small volume and obviously the scam projects also dies.

As the price dump, people panic, when the opposite happens people get hype, that's a normal thing. However, the current recovery for me is not fully confirmed until bitcoin will hit $40k again, at this price range it's moving, I still have doubt that we are safe from a possible dump as for me, the bear season is already here and mostly the movement is going to be downtrends.
2051  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tell us about the best altcoin in the current situation. on: January 28, 2022, 08:35:18 PM
The market has been going downhill for some time now. In order to get the best return in such a situation, which altcoin should we invest in that gives us the maximum benefit?
It seems like we know what. Actually, if you are willing to invest in the current situation,  you should learn how to minimize the risk and that is by diversifying your investment. Don't talk about altcoin, talk more on altcoins because there are plenty of coins in the market that could provide a return, just DYOR and you'll be fine.
2052  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 28, 2022, 08:20:51 PM
I see a really nice game between Miami Heat and Los Angeles Clippers tonight. Clippers are having a so unlucky season that they don't have Paul George and Kawhi Leonard due to long-lasting injuries. But they are still holding onto the playoff zone as strong as possible now. And Heat are just amazing now. They are the leader of their conference now. They are showing a really great performance this season and I already wonder about what they would do in the playoffs. As for this game, I'm favouring Heat to win for sure.

Heat will win this, I also favor them to win on their home court, however, the betting line or the point spread is very high, I think the Clippers will be able to cover it as they are still very competitive despite losing their 2 all stars (Leonard and George).  I know I will enjoy watching this game, I hope my expectation that it will be a close game will happen.  Smiley
2053  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: There is fear in the market, isn't it time to buy? on: January 28, 2022, 02:53:52 PM
Of course, for now it is the right time to buy some potential altcoins to invest in the future, because now we will go through a bear market and I think it will be a long time to return to the highest increase as happened in 2021, but we also have to be careful in choosing coins, because not all coins that have large volumes will increase rapidly all need a boost.
If it's only about the volume, then it's easy to find the coins on that criteria.

Sometimes we have to look at the low volume with good potential as they are the coins that could give us a decent profit and could even help us make a fortune in investing. We should learn how to diversify,t hat's the key to success, lower exposure on high risk assets while high exposure on low risk assets.
FEAR is a common issue for those who never understand how crypto works. As these people will see market declines, then they are about to get crazy and just think about selling immediately. Maybe, if they just look on the other side and see an opportunity during the dip, they'll be glad for sure and buy more. But somehow, many would like to remain blind and they keep that fear inside with them.
They should be learning this time and we have to understand that not all the time the market went good, it sometimes we are in big trouble but behind all of these things, there's always light around the corner.
2054  Economy / Speculation / Re: Market sentiments ? on: January 28, 2022, 02:10:24 PM
There is nothing permanent in crypto so we cannot expect for the bullish season to always stay. The bear season will definitely come so we need to  prepare for it too. And most of the time, the dump gets more serious through some market manipulations and with market sentiments that are always caused by the different events in the market.

You're stating the obvious here. I don't know why there are still those who post and get surprised when Bitcoin is making a significant drop after the long bullish run. Correction like this is to be expected after a bullish season. So, yeah I have to agree that weak hands should be aware of it already.
Infact, huge corrections is supposed to be a good thing for us crypto enthusiast because this is a golden opportunity to acquire more fractions of Btc.
Maybe they are just new to the market but for us who have been in here for a while, this is not surprising anymore.
Anyways, the correction has almost been done, I hope I was right but seeing those ups could tell us for the upcoming full market recovery. And these weak hands, doubtful individuals again they will be surprised and then start to blame themselves for losing an opportunity.
2055  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Still haven't sold a bit of BTC since 2013... if I can do it you can do it too! on: January 28, 2022, 01:13:55 PM
How on earth that you afford to Keep holding mate? meaning you are a wealthy person that denies taking your big profit because you can still afford holding while you are one to be considered as Early Adopter ?

Man you are so great and this post is worth sharing, How i wish i have the guts to do how you portray your role being a Bitcoin Holder.
It was his desire to keep holding and enjoy seeing his portfolio grow which people can't certainly imagine doing it in real life. And I think it was not hard for the rich people which probably he is but for us who just have limited resources and we sometimes just rely in crypto, that is really impossible.
Now, he become legendary and I'm sure he can do hold for more years.
Well, OP, I was truly amaze of what you've done. I want to be like you but it can't...wish you goodluck then.
2056  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just saying on: January 28, 2022, 12:21:57 PM
In the future maybe 2025 the next big thing in crypto won't be what we've make lots of money from like the metaverse, Play2earn NFTS, they will be around but won't be the main focus, it might be web3.0 and other that's not even been acknowledged yet, just saying this because some people are already planning to pack many meme coins and other for the future your expectations might not come true
Maybe yes and maybe not. Well, perhaps, 2025 is too far to have the right prediction, even buy just tomorrow, we can't. Instead of talking about years from now, what if we have to start investing today and for the coming years, bull market we can generate profit. Who knows if this year there will be another Bullrun, we shouldn't have to miss it anyway.
If we are going to invest, don't make ourselves getting fooled by these meme coins. Honestly, they are not worthy.
2057  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN - ROAD TO 8,000$ - speculation on: January 27, 2022, 09:55:26 PM
Why not?
Whats your predicts ?
Ehhh, I don't think you are making such a prediction close to reality but you know what, it is not what I see and probably with the others. I don't what is the basis for that but honestly, I don't get it.
maybe I was too bullish to think and you are a bearish person but for sure it never happens to Bitcoin and instead, it continues to grow and fly high.

I guess you need to check the price History of Bitcoin for you to know what really happens.
2058  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: January 27, 2022, 09:22:58 PM
Well, let's wait for the result of this fight, if Casimero will successfully defend his title, then the next fight might be a unification fight. For a champion like Casimero, the promoter should not be messing with his career as they can make a lot of money from him as long as they give him a big fight, and no bigger fights in this division than Inoue or Donaire.

Yes exactly for now let's wait for the result of Casimero vs. Butler and hopefully he win despite of the fact that up until now there's not yet an announcement of schedule for that fight since it was been rescheduled because of the failure of Casimero to met the weigh-in due to health issue. And if ever Casimero win this fight I am also one of the vivid fan of Casimero vs. Inoue upcoming fight if ever get scheduled and also if ever the camp or team of Inoue accept the said proposal of the fight.

We have no choice but to wait for the result, unfortunately, we cannot just speculate here since they have not announce the date of the fight yet, but I hope it's gonna happen this year so we don't have to wait longer and the Inoue vs Casimero fight are going to take place on the same year.
2059  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 27, 2022, 09:05:35 PM
As you said, Phoenix Suns were lacking many players but they still managed to have a winning streak with this lineup. But we shouldn't forget that two of these wins were against Utah Jazz which were lacking more players. We come across really weird results due to the effect of covid-19. CP3 is really fired up as for his clutch times and he manages to carry his team to a victory.

Like he always does, that's how good CP3 is, he can make the team stronger and that's what he is doing with the Phoenix Suns. As one of the all stars in the NBA, he and Booker are leading their team, they have a good chemistry that's why they don't have any problem with winning.
2060  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: January 27, 2022, 08:42:59 PM
Let's wait for the odds, I agree with you that a ML bet on Spence is not profitable, but there are odds like by KO or by Decision or even per round bet. The risk is going to be high, but hey, as gamblers, we all love that kind of huge odds and upsets do really happen.

That would be an alternative for those who like to bet on Spence but odds for Moneyline is so small, winning by KO or Decision. But since Spence is the big and heavily favored favorite to win the match, I'm not also expecting much higher odds at those betting options.

Another high risk if we bet on KO per round although that was hard to speculate. But the returns are so good to resist.

Exactly, as I have said, a lot of alternate line that we can bet to make a good profit, but the risk is going to be high.

I just checked the odds if it is available on one of the sports bookies I bet, sportsbet, it is not present yet. Maybe other platform has the line open already.

As for speculating about Spence injury, we can only see it in the actual fight. Right now, definitely it is healed because he is allowed to fight already. But the extend? we can only see if Ugas hit it and what will be Spence reaction in the fight.

Well guys I see that Ugas has a lot of favoritism, but the statistics can drop, however Spence everyone talks about his injury, but if we go to the level of experience he can take advantage of any eventuality, in this case seeing the bookmakers many are giving favorite to Spence, but internally I don't know which boxer has more possibilities, Ugas is doing well, and based on other fights I think that if I get more information on the type of training of each boxer I will decide on the one who has made the most effort or the one more radical training.

There's no favoritism here for Ugas here as most of us are picking Spence to win, despite an impressive performance of Ugas against Pacman, that's still not enough to convince the fans that he has a good chance of being an undefeated Spence. The time will finally come that he can prove again that he is no joke, that he belong to the conversation of greats in the welterweight division although he is not undefeated.
