Personally I use "they" when I still have no confirmation with someone's identity though randomly I still refer to Satoshi as "he" but never "she". Just like how other Wiki pages refer someone that was mentioned but never seen.

I know... ~
Avoid this mindset that you're saying that you know if you also know that the market is unstable. Thing is nobody really know the price of the coins right now tomorrow, next week, next month. It is either merely speculations backed with patterns from the past charts or just simply speculating blindly which is a bad habit for someone holding. Just don't spend it all in crypto, OP. Save up and just buy when there is an extra.

I certainly heard something about a scam team in the news but I didn't take much attention to it. ~
Well it is kind of harsh here in the Philippines right now as it is in the middle of the pandemic for obvious reasons that many got unemployed and from that, you won't be surprised how many people are willing to risk their own just to chase for money without even trying to do such research. Either these people that got scammed got referred by people affiliated with that team or they just really threw their money blindly into it.

When bounty hunters talk about bounties, it is unavoidable to also mention those airdrops though I believe they are far more worse in my experience back then when one emailed me to drop my private key into their site, just because I was using a wallet file of MEW in those years which was the most unsecured way of holding ERC-20 tokens.

There is a situation that many novice posts have similar content. For a novice, it is easy to overlook a key issue that is to learn to search first.
~
Well you won't be surprised on how many novice try to fish for merits with their threads. Aside from that link you attached, kindly take a look these other ways that tranthidung replied to me for other ways to search . Just spreading knowledge of someone here in the forum, and I hope it can help you.

~ However, there is no site rule saying you are not allowed to post a loan without offering any collateral that "rule" is just a stickied post made by people to help users avoid scams, but it does not have to be followed at all as per site actual rules. ~
It does not have to followed, but you are risking your account getting tagged (negative trust). There is a difference between the rules here in the forum and what is frowned upon in here.

Hello Spontaenous! Welcome to the forum. Unfortunately that video introduced you in the wrong way here as this is a forum not an earning platform. I would consider that video outdated as well, since the ranking system in that date was still activity-based. Please read about the Merit system included in the post of Shamm.

Back when I was day trading, I only watched videos in Youtube on how to do it. I gotta admit that I did not really earn anything because I was still newbie, but that alone helped me how to use indicators like Bollinger band and the RSI. As you mentioned that I can relate, I did not read but I was informed to how to use it. Most likely these mediums of learning are personal preference, but sometimes it is situational like in mine where I won't be able to know which to click in Binance to let me do a buy/sell order.

Well most altcoins are just gonna dump really hard when Bitcoin plummets, and expect that most of the time from this time on. Not familiar with HEX token, but it seemed like it plummeted as well but much non-profitable than it should be. Greed is not the issue here. It is the mindset that people tend to think that many altcoins are worth in the long-term, but it isn't really.
|
|
|
~
Well I'll just say good luck in finding good coins that you might find profitable at this moment. I am just doing my usual daily routine like I always do. I am not focused too much into crypto as looking to BTCs price too much is just gonna be nothing of control for me. Don't overthink something that you can't control.
|
|
|
~
Well it was not still a smart move for me as I continued using that wallet file in getting those altcoins that I was earning back in the days. It was all at risk, and good thing that it was not compromised. I lost access to it anyway few years forward as I zeroed it out already plus I am not looking into throwing my money into any altcoins for now.

It is a whales' trap actually. I can still recall when Bitcoin plummeted back when Musk just pulled Bitcoin off from Tesla as a payment method. I can see whales selling their coins just to get more from these people panicking. Panic sellers are almost part of this market and even me that just cannot do anything but sigh to it. It is their loss in the end anyway.

Then they complain that they were being scammed while they have done little to no research. I'm gonna be honest. I tried few airdrops back to at least test how would it go and of course I never expected them to send anything to my wallet. However there was this one particular project that emailed me suddenly, I used a disposable email address to be safe and to keep those scam/referrals off my actual email. This email told me to claim my "token" in their website, so I clicked the site they want me to "claim my tokens" at. In the site, they claimed to be in partnership with MEW and I particularly use MEW (the unsafe way which is the wallet file), then they want me to put my wallet into their site which includes giving out my PK and also my password. At that point, I just closed it off and never joined any airdrops ever again.

In the first few trades, I believe it will just be neutral. I never personally traded anyone here in the forum just yet, but a positive trust is something that comes with either relationship with the other party you are dealing with or the true satisfaction that they get from your services.

This game is being hyped a lot in my Facebook news feed. Here in the Philippines, there are a lot of people going crazy about this and all those scholarships and stuffs are appearing almost everywhere. It is insane. I am quite not moved from that though. I am not into hyped stuffs.

Well emotion is just simply hard to control. I prefer to phrase it that I should not "act according to my emotion", because it is already part of our way of thinking regardless of how rational one can be. And by the way that became my pitfall trap back when I was day trading.
|
|
|
~
Emotion is already part of us, OP. If we are all robots, then emotion is our built-in function. About the losing money stuff, it is either they're just in a hurry to earn money which is not surprising to a lot of people on how they look at crypto or they are driven easily by popular celebs in whatever social media site you can mention. This is why when it comes to crypto, I read more stuffs in here rather than those celebrities that don't even know crap about crypto with all their blind followers.

I'm aware of that. There are just those threads also that does not ask questions like any threads that derived from news articles and people just keep sharing their thoughts about the situation even at times that the news becomes outdated or irrelevant.
I'd like to give that thread a long read from the beginning of it. I know that there are many fun stuffs happening in that thread aside from the meme threads here.

Aside from what others mentioned in here, you can still unlock the topic anyway if you still have a follow-up question. Just be wary that there might be other users that wouldn't bother reading the recent replies and just go straight up reply to the OP. There are threads like WO that shouldn't be locked for obvious reasons that price of Bitcoin is changes overtime.

~ So, do not be too hasty to make profits , short time trading don't pay much
Chill out in this statement, OP. I failed back in my first few day trading days, but the profit was surely gonna be continuous there if I just kept it up for few more. It was just cents but if you continuously save that up, imagine how much profit you got in that day. In long-term investment, you are kind of waiting a "fixed target price" before you sell.
