At dkbit98 too hard or difficult.
I want this to be easy peasy.
What do you mean to hard or difficult?! All you need is to install and open Breeze wallet... if that is to hard for you than I don't know what more to say, it's easier than opening new accounts on any exchange you mentioned Backup is encrypted and exported to cloud or your own personal server... very simple.

I'm in the same situation as the other user, Binance card is dead, Wirex proved unreliable and I don't know if the physical card even works anymore as I don't want to end it locked in an ATM and have banks calling me, so for a quick emergency cash in the EU and occasional online purchases (including gambling) , what options do I have that I don't wake up to see my funds gone? Crypto and coinbase?
It all depends what you need to use cards for. There is always a chance Coinbase card could end up similar like old Binance card, but I heard binance now have new partner for cards from Malta. Virtual non-kyc cards are working fine in many cases and they are better if you want to spend lower amounts of money. Whatever card you choose to use, you should never keep large amount of money on this account. Much better option is to sell BTC for cash using p2p trading, Bisq, Peach Bitcoin, Robosats, etc. Than use cash to buy anything you want, it's better for privacy than purchasing stuff with cards.

We check all messages regularly but Telegram is preferred to communicate quicker. Because Session app has some issues with notifications.
You can try another alternative for Telegram and Session if you want real privacy, that is app called SimpleX.chat. Notifications work much better, they can be customized, there is no ID or phone number connected with accounts, and simplex chat can be used on all devices.

Yesterday ledger-recover, today ledger-connect, and tomorrow we are going to have another ledger ''surprise'' How about if I make one better suggestion, don't use ledger wallet and shitcoins at all, than I can guarantee you will be much safer and you won't have to worry so much. What do you think?
I think they are assholes, and this trick won't help them much. They say in 2024 no more blind signing, yeah right... that means that most of their devices will be discontinued...think about that.

I won't order anything for privacy reasons, and I know I'm not the only one.
Noted. I am not dealing with any personal details at all. Cards are shipped in simple envelope, and purchase is done directly from official website, so there is no connection with any forum accounts. All FoxPup Meric Cycling cards would be identical and anyone could order them to be delivered in PO box or anywhere else. I wish there was a better way for more private international delivery service Now there is one possible alternative... you could purchase compatible javacards anywhere you want, even locally, and Satochip could sell you only design files. You pay for digital files, download, print and stick on both sides of your blank cards, load firmware and you ready to go... now everything remains private.

Side note with this, but important. If you can find old rugged laptops, be it Panasonic Toughbooks or Dell rugged laptops they have 2 ways of shutting off ALL wireless communications 1 is in the bios and the other is a physical switch. Either one will 100% shut down all external signaling.
Some older Thinkpad T series models also have this physical switch, but I am not sure you can disable everything in any proprietary bios with any switch. Only way is to totally remove bios and install open source alternative bios like coreboot or libreboot, but that is available only for limited laptop models.

I would like to generate the safest possible way a new bitcoin address using raspery pi 4. I miss some simple yet for me a bit confusing details in order to do it correctly. If anyone is familiar with this way help please.
Easy way is to install Raspberry Pi OS or Debian and then install Electrum or some other wallet (Sparrow, etc) to generate address. Just make sure you have wifi turned off and don't have any internet cables connected to device. Old Raspberry Pi Zero is perfect as small airgapped device (no WiFi or Bluetooth), that is why DIY project Seedsigner is using it as their main device. This is cheaper and better way in my opinion: https://seedsigner.com/

Again, once they started lying to their users, their word became worthless.
But if you apply the same principle to politics, than there wouldn't be any governments as we know them today... so how can we survive without them and without roads Ledger can't go fully open source due to the closed-source chips they use in their hardware. That's why the value of their word matters so much. And their word is worthless.
They can if they want. Just release new models with different secure elements, don't use same NDAs like with current models, and release code at least source viewable. It's either that or they will stop existing soon if they continue with the same tempo... that is my prediction from crypto gipsy fortune teller.

Still nothing for the Mk3 I guess they are just going to keep them as is unless something bad happens and perhaps not even then.
Mk3 is most likely going to graveyard soon, unless master NVK shows some mercy. btw do you by any chance know what is going on with biggest ever giant hardware wallet in the world aka Coldcard Q... that thing to me appears to have reservation status for eons, or it must be only available for special VIPs

But you have to use Ledger Live to add or update apps on your Ledger hardware, at which point you're at the mercy of Ledger's tracking. A smarter idea is to stop using Ledger hardware entirely.
You also can't even start using ledger wallet if you don't install their ledger live crapp after you purchased their hardware wallet. Good luck to anyone trying to bypass that Ledger hardware isn't safe anymore. It was never safe in the first place, but it's not that hard to provide illusion of safety... same like governments are doing with their msm propaganda bs. It's time for Ledger to prove the firmware on their hardware is safe. They've been lying to their customers for a long time, so their word is no longer good enough.
it's simple to open source everything, right? Right??

I made a small update in the list and changed Jade wallet secure element from NO to Virtual. Reason for this is because this is different approach from all other hardware wallets that don't have any physical secure element by default, and as far as I know nobody uses anything similar like Jade. This approach is not the same like regular secure elements available in market today, but it manages to keep everything reasonably safe and fully open source. You can find more information about Jade Virtual secure element and watch few minutes long video explanation on their website: https://help.blockstream.com/hc/en-us/articles/13745404122265-Does-Blockstream-Jade-have-a-secure-element-

Yes, I have looked at some alternatives. The problem with all other manufactors is that they only support the AVAX C-Chain via the respective hardware wallet, including Metamask. Staking via Avalanche requires the P-Chain, which is currently only fully supported by Ledger.
They focused so much on working with bunch of shitcoin crap, that they forget about basic security and safety of everything else. You can't have both in any serious hardware wallet, especially if you have limited work force and they just assemble stuff coming from China. If someone found a way to exploit ledger-connect, it will find a way to exploit other things connected with shitcoins, like staking for example. It's a risky gamble combination.

If you remember the situation before the Ordinals Attack began, you can see that the 4 MB weight was enough to handle the real demand. But after the spam attack began, the fees started going up and stayed up. In other words the problem isn't the block space.
Exactly, and I am sure the situation would be exactly the same with bigger block. It sucks to have high transaction fees like they are right now, with over 500 sat/vB that is over $30 worth of Bitcoin and your transaction may still be with low priority. With attacks like this it would not be that hard for someone with unlimited funds like gov. to make bitcoin almost unusable for most people Maybe it's time for another fork, and more people need to use Lightning Network for small transactions.

Really? People come looking for privacy but don't wipe the cookies from their Tor browser?
They just never close Tor browser and always keep one identity, that's enough
I sent PM to tumbler few days ago asking if Ratimov/Symmetrick returned money he received from them for 6 months in advance, but they never replied anything. Since he is not online from December 11, it's safe to assume he is never coming back and returning the money he received. Final ''Trick'' move.

For the moment, BitMixList and the onion site are both down. The server is not responding, but I cannot confirm whether it is a DDoS. I'm working on fixing this issue.
Sorry to hear this but I know some guys who own regular website unrelated with bitcoin and it get's ddos attacks all the time. Shutting down websites can be profitable, but some people are doing it for fun, believe it or not. Why would anyone be so interested in that, especially when there are so many other lists on the internet doing fine?
I don't know the real reason, but you can only imagine how they are attacking bitcointalk forum and other services all the time.

I wanted to pick up one of these cards, but the fees were around $20 in bitcoin. I could wait for the fees to drop or, if possible, pay via Lightning to you?
Fees are crazy this days. I think Satochip is using Coinbase Commerce for processing all cryptocurrency payments, and this is what I found on their website: We currently support ApeCoin, Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, DAI, Dogecoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, SHIBA INU, Tether and USD Coin. We also support MATIC, USD Coin, and Wrapped Ether (WETH) on Polygon. https://www.coinbase.com/commerce/faqIf you don't have any LTC and other altcoins, maybe you can contact Tibu or someone else from Satochip support and ask them to pay directly with Lightning. I think guys from Satochip should use btcpayserver.org in future for BTC and LN payments.

But, your point is taken; the ATF is not to be trusted. Nor the FBI, NSA, DOJ, CIA or any other alphabet soup.
Wh..whaaat.... than who should we trust if not those amazing three letter agencies that exist only to serve and protect us? PS That first Ruger gun looks really amazing, and they can be useful for protection against wrench attacks. Good luck selling them.
