The sooner the better. But the issue is time is weird.
At 18 waiting til 30 seems way too long. Never mind waiting til 50 or 60.
I am 66 If I make it to Jan 2024 I will be 67.
I can testify to this ten years is not much time. Neither is 20 years.
If you invest at 18 and hodl the investment 20 years you will usually do okay.

Good point. Let's go overboard ... While I like when systems look and act smart, this would be really going overboard and the added complexity isn't worth it in my opinion (I'm quite sure you're not serious with your suggestion). If I had to vote for an option, I'm fine with option C and I'd prefer to have the cursor already in the entry box so that I'd only have to type the number of merit points to send. Yep . I am laying in my bed watching my Giants lose to the Raiders as I type this. I Gave you a merit because I likely spend an hour a day typing on the iPad mini while lying in bed. It is the most likely time To make the 10 or 20 error. So C is certainly best for me.

~ so can the chat be possible?
This screenshot looks like a doodle to me, like someone was just scribbling on a price chart. Though I guess it could be some kinda daylight savings time glitch, as another comment said. That seems possible too. Anyway, no way this is evidence of time travelers. They wouldnt be so dumb to leave obvious clues that could mess up space-time continuum and that could like destroy the whole universe even. If some one time travels they will take precautions to remain undetected. Picture going back in time to 2011. Join the forum and buy btc. Say 1000 coins for 1000 dollars. put them in coinbase. sell them all in 2013 for 1.3 million. Then buy 3000 coins for 300000 in 2014. At this point sell just a bit in 2017 maybe 300 coins for 6 million. and buy some back maybe 400 coins for 1.6 million in 2018. so you hit 2021 with 3100 coins. sell 1100 at 60 k or 66 million. buy 1200 back last nov 2022 for 16k. you would now have 3200 coins and a ton of cash 💵

This was a toss away laptop cost free. ssd was 85 bucks. I downloaded the entire oct 2023 chain in 22 hours . my net speed is 200 max via optimum. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5468600.0here is the thread. it was a third gen i7 laptop 💻

I want to ask, will the amount of smerit given to the merit source change every month? I see that there are differences in the smerit that the merit source has every month. What makes it different? Is if the smerit doesn't run out, will the next month's smerit be reduced?
You can read everything about merits here, if I remember correctly whatever you send in a month you'd get back the same amount the next month, Maybe I'm wrong. I never can understand my monthly source supply.I am a merit source. I give a lot of merits. I also get about 200 merits from members in addition to my source. Also my source merits seem to stagger in rather than 50 say on Nov 1 then 50 on Dec 1

How fast and quick it has been since it was established? It seems that it's so close but the truth of the matter is it will still take time to mine it. What will make sense is that the price would still be profitable for the miners, if not then it would be a problem I think, or an opportunity for others to take over.
That's the problem I'm seeing, not just the maximum mined amount.
Satoshi’s invention is not btc it is pow 💥 ie watts to wealth he used Btc as a subset of pow. all btc max guys want to ignore this. they push at this hard. but at the moment the second biggest pow al-gore-rythm is scrypt. It merge mines LTC/Doge basically scrypt is better than btc for long term value because doge has a controlled descending inflation concept. ie doge x coins every year year. inflation rate 1 2 x. 100% 3 x. 50% 4 x. 33% 5 x. 25% 6 x. 20% … 10 x 11 x. 10% … 20 x 21 x. 5% … 50 x 51 x. 2% … 100 101 x 1% so around 2114 or so scrpyt will be doing much better than btc as a pow coin I will be long gone by then as will most likely all of us. As of today I see the biggest danger to BTC staying as the premium POW coin as ltc/doge I see this happening by 2056 unless there is a tweak by BTC. in its pow setup.

You only get banned if the image is NSFW. All other images are fine, including AI generated ones. And also, there is no such thing as a "plagiarized image" unless it is stolen from the stock image seller's website without paying (and a license to reproduce it on other sites), in which case, don't do that.
Use discretion and don't post images with content that is illegal in your jurisdiction.
Not to argue where is the NSFW rule? And are you saying NSFW even if it is not plagiarized?

The crypto market has an high level of volatility, anyone who is about to make an investment need to have a good understanding of the volatile market. Now the question is even with the volatility will you still choose crypto over fiat when it comes to making investments?
Both. And a few more things. METALS REAL ESTATE POW CRYPTO GOVERNMENT BONDS GEMSTONES Also some cash Notice no stocks. I do not believe in a single way to invest. So a bit of all that is above.

The black swan event in 2020 was one of the events that caused the price to make a rapid correction, but the price was able to rise again due to subsequent economic policies that approved stimulus packages and it was easy to obtain loans with an interest rate close to zero, and this matter may happen again if the Federal Reserve begins to reduce interest rates initially. From the second quarter of next year. Therefore, during the period of 2020, I think that the price dealt poorly with one event, which was the collapse of Luna more than FTX.
if things go well, history will repeat itself, but it will be closer to what happened in 2016/2017.
I never have be a super bull. but if we are in the 2015 2016 2017 loop then 2023. 42k dec 1 48k dec 31 2024. a quick jan sell off to 40k a slow grind up to 65k by dec 2024 2025. at least 500k by nov-dec So I am hoping to see a super bull market.

It must've been over a period of time so you probably would've upgraded regularly. In total how much did you pay for your mining equipment over the years? I can't imagine mining's profitable when there's excessive numbers of miners trying to get rewards it's competitive. I expect 40-50k pre ½ ing and about 121k for full bull run number.
I mine I attack differently then a hodl guy or a trader guy. Mining is quite profitable. if you have the following: 1) cheap power 2) good gear sellers 3) a repair guy 4) the ability to spend time monitoring it. If you don’t have the four above mining sucks. I will say this cheap power is a real issue for a smaller commercial guy like me. I have a great price very competitive. But for now I can do about 300-320kwatts that is just about 100 machines. So far it has not become an issue but down the road I could be squeezed out. Ie 100 machines earning 5 bucks a day profit is 500 a day profit. Or 15,000 a month. But 100 machines earning 2 bucks a day is 200 a day profit or 6,000 a month at 6,000 a month it would not be worth doing I have done okay since I started but I could see a squeeze out coming.

OMG, it's long since I've seen an idiot be so proud he's an idiot. Plus you are wrong.
Phil, he doesn't deserve your energy and your answers. He will probably twist them by an idiotic logic. I think it's better to just put him on ignore. I had him on ignore. but someone quoted his misuse of the stiffler image so I took him off ignore. just to write that post. he is now back on ignore. Which is where he belongs. I think his misuse of stiffler got a few people mad enough to quote it. Which in turn I saw and quoted. So to all please do not quote him. BTW this includes me.

$500k for 1 BTC in less than 2 years can only be realized if that long-awaited spot BTC ETF is really a game-changer and then in synergy with the halving effect results in a massive bull run. However, we should not ignore the fact that the price is formed not only by increased demand, but also by increased supply, because for many long-term holders, the next bull run will very likely be the exit point.
All those millions of BTC that are speculated to be irretrievably lost could flood the market because when we finally reach the zone of six-digit numbers, few will resist dumping most of their long-held BTC. Numbers change, but people and their behavior are more or less the same and predictable.
If we shot to 500k like I say by Dec 31 2025. The first blocks that have been sitting for over 13 years should get movement. If they don’t I would be very surprised. I would think there are over 1,000,000 pre 2011 coins untouched at 500,000 a coin that is more than 500 billion dollars. I would think maybe 5% would sell off.

Yes Nocoiner now but was a Coiner when it mattered. Now you do not matter AT ALL. 😁 Na he a loser and he knows hes a loser 🤭🤭🤭 Seems the circlejerking is going on again lelelelle.. (He be grabbin the JJG sclong and whispering into his ear, I Gotchu i gotchur stroking ) 🤣 He keep a posting a longa texta so he feels relevant n cherished 🤭 In the End, A No Coiner will be Laughing the Hardest and sweetest. 😘 To use stiffler’s i age that way is disgraceful. Plus you are wrong. Here is why. I am well over 100k ahead. All coins could go to zero. All my machines could be just scrap. I would still have made profit. As I don’t go all in and take some profit from mining as I go. So if everthing zeros out. My 100k drops to say 60k. So a nocoiner is at zero. at worst I am at +60k so once again you are wrong. worse yet you used stiffler’s image in vain.
