This might be too far fetched, but,

I have a cgminer instance on my network with the api enabled. I want to be able to pull stats into minepeon, just as the local cgminer does.

Can this be done? Getting the LCD to work was easy since I just had to specify the api IP on the network.

Yes it can be done, I was doing it for awhile, just takes some modifying of the Python script.

I received yesterday a bitfury, from Spain, and it connects to the RPI via SPI and not via USB.

How can I use MinePeon and bfgminer (or cgminer) to detect the USB ports and also this bitfury via SPI?

The drivers are present and working in PR2.  I don't have any bitfury's though so I have not been able to set so I suppose you should just wire them up and see what happens.

Grab yourself a copy of RP2 from;-

http://minepeon.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=291

It has all of the latest.  It is probably going to be released as MinePeon Beta 0.2.4 on the weekend.

yes, without any issues using BFGMiner as a proxy.

Any specific issues that you're running into?

Hi Neil and thanks for your answer.

I tried the bitfury and bfgminer 3.3.0 doesn't detect any device:
Quote
Devices
No devices running

Then I tried with cgminer 3.6.4 also included in PR2 of MinePeon 0.2.4... Same "No devices running" message.

I think you did not notice in my statement that the Bitfury is connected via SPI controller (available on the 26 pin GPIO header of the Raspberry Pi) and not via USB.

I did, I loaded the spi drivers into 2.4.0 PR2 specifically for that.

Unfortunately without one in had I cannot help you much.

Is the sharelog required for the UI or stats to work? Was thinking of leaving it off so disk space wouldn't slow get eaten up. Smiley

No just wondering how to set it up on mine peon. I have a blade on the way to me in the mail. I have been reading and it seems the way to run these is through a stratum proxy. Is the version of bfgminer used in the latests beta complied with the needed micro http support? Do I just need to edit the miner start up command to turn it on?

The version of BFGMiner in 2.4.0 PR1 (or PR2) does come compiled with libmicrohttpd, you will just need to add the http-port option to the minepeon.conf.

Well that makes it easy, Thanks for the info. I sold my hubs and usb asic's and am replacing them with a couple blades and a drillbit 8 board when they start shipping.

I can't wait for the drillbit boards to start shipping Wink

Hopefully I'll see my bluefury miners next week as well...

Any word on the latest release?  You gonna have it ready this weekend?
