The gp of Spain wasn't that exciting like last week. Top 3 was predicted only Verstappen surprised to split the Mercedes.

Red Bull needs to find a better driver than Albon. Being lapped by your teammate in the same car.

Albon was so promising last season when he replaced Gasly in the Red bull car.
This season Gasly seems to be more prudent and he performs better that Albon so maybe Redbull is going to switch them again(?).
Driver of the day was Vettel, he did a good race but still Ferrari is so noncompetitive this season.

Ferrari shows a disastrous performance this year and then also many inherent mistakes and technical defects. One of the hardest years for Ferrari in Formula 1, but if nothing is changed in the management, they will not achieve the turnaround anytime soon.

I think if this race was good from Vettel perspective then he probably should take a year off to rethink what he is going to do with his career.If he has lost interest then most probably he should not come back before he feels extremely motivated to race again.I agree with Ferrari perspective this time.

They lost 100hp from Fia decision because they were using too much oil in the gasoline, now Mercedes is doing the same thing but in a different way but they can.

Also, this is not the sad part.

After having the -100hp on his engine, Ferrari needed to build a new engine and the SAD part is that the engine is locked in progress by FIA from February to December so...
Why a team with a weak engine should even try to upgrade the car if they can't upgrade their engine??

The logical way is to lock everything expensive on the car and progress only on the 2021 car.

The thing is that the world has gone crazy with climate change agenda, saving, carbon footprint, political correctness and a lot of other madnesses and isms. Those thing resulted in over regulation of a lot of things and you see that in Formula 1 too.

One incident and suddenly we won't have refueling in the pit stops anymore. If a world would have that approach to stop or ban something potential dangerous because of one accident or incident where would we be now?

The real truth is that it's all so artificial and we only watch it because we love it too much, but we would give everything to go back where teams could spend as much as they like, refuel as much as they like and drive as fast as they can.

It was a disaster due to Leclerc quitting the race.
However, it was a good result for them that Vettel did. They are unable to challenge wins, even podiums during their season because their car dynamic is very low.

Yes it's for all team with Ferrari engine very sad to say, all Ferrari powered teams drive at the rest of the field. So sorry for Kimi, he's a cool driver but with this Car and weak engine he have no chance to points.

Why next year? Bigger updates and development are for next year also freeze!? The only that the teams can do, hope for 2022 with big updates and a new development engine. But it's 2022 for all teams very hard also the other make development and at the beginning from 2022 we will see, making the other teams a step to Mercedes or Mercedes also very dominant.

Yes, but for example for Ferrari, the problem is the engine since it has been nerfed from FIA.
Right now they can't upgrade it till the end of the season by the currents rule.

But in Winter they can work to the current engine and use an upgraded version on next season.

My opinion are, i hope for tyres the are mature longer and for faster laps, but for a better and variety strategy at the Teams and not all the same, a smaller gasoline tank than all Teams must refuel. And no gasoline Limit, that's Motorsport and no boring carrera track run like Formel E.

I watch TV with this opinion refuel in the 90s , and the races are more interesting, so many different strategies, fast stop and lighter car at the beginning or heavy cars and faster at the end... At time so many boring all Teams have the same strategy no freedom of movement for smaller Teams. So at time are good start and Mercedes win...

I agree with this.In fact you reminded me of McLaren golden era when they used to have a bigger gasoline tank than other teams and based on different strategies they used to win races only because of that and they were not the fastest car on track.I wish those days of true F1 battles between teams come again and why not remove the electronics from the car to see which driver has better skills.Unfortunately I know this will only remain a wish.

Albon isn't performing particularly well. But he is also to an extent made to look bad because Verstappen is really performing extremely well in a car that is nowhere near the quality of the Mercedes.
I would suspect that most drivers would look poor if they have Verstappen as a team-mate. Similar to how Bottas doesn't look great, because we can only compare him against Hamilton.

After a terrible accident between Zarco, Morbidelli, Pol Espargaro and Oliveira FIM took them for evaluation. It looks like the main purpose of FIM is for security. Yes, it's a good move to see crash incidents on video and the slow motion is terrible. Educate racers that winning is not the goal but safety is number one. Rossi was very lucky at that time, if not possible he would be seriously injured.

But switching Kvyat for Verstappen turned out well for Red Bull.

Albon was near to podium finishes but Hamilton ruined both if them. He isn't a bad driver but should perform much better with the car.

Yeah, refuleling gave much more options for strategy. Not like we have now - 1-2 pit stops to change tyres when most teams choose same strategy and stop almost same time. But I remember complaining about boring races back then too . Mainly because small number of ocertakes and Schumi dominance.

I think that all of them - Albon, Kvyat and Gasly is similar level drivers. But all of them will look bad in comparison with Max. I just think that main problem that Red Bull don't have patience and gives too much pressure for them - every mistake can cost them seat in Red Bull.

You got me wrong.
I am not comparing Albon with Max, but Albon with Gasly. Last season we saw that Redbull switched those two drivers and Albon was way better than Gasly , it was like they made the correct decision.
However, this season Albon is not any better than Gasly and I think that he do not deserve to be the second driver in RBR.
