I can't wait to see the Formula 1 Turkish Grand Prix next week. The track hasn't been used for a Formula 1 race for 9 years. Istanbul Park is a very special track among the others in the calendar. Lewis Hamilton finished 1st once in this track in 2010. I wonder whether he will redo this or not.

From these for I think the order from the most interesting is...
Mugello Portimao Nurbugring Imola.
Imola too me is fun track for drivers but a very boring track to watch, I don't mind if it will be removed, the chance of overtaking is very small.
Yeah, Imola is old-school narrow track with not much place to overtake, but this year race was interesting there. Still, I would prefer these classic tracks over street circuits. I also will see more old school tracks, but the habe not so many money than the boring new tracks... The provisional MtoGp Calender for next year is online. https://www.motogp.com/en/news/2020/11/06/provisional-2021-motogp-calendar-revealed/353789I also hope for Brno, but the same as at Formula1 maybe not enough money...

Considering the pandemic situation and considering nowadays Europe is escalating in COVID19 cases they are going maybe back to usual tracks in the rest of the world, like Brazil for F1. I don't think we will have a similar calendar of this year for the next year, I hope to but we are probably not going to see Mugello again for example.

Yes that's very sad for the Fans only more boring tracks without affecting at driver mistakes... But about Brno i wonder, why they make Swaps from Tickets of these year to the next?

Same here m8, one of the best tracks out there and I enjoyed seeing Imola track again also. They should really keep the old ones in calendar, races are more fun on those track and racing looks so much more natural and more attractive even if it is with less overtakes per race.

Istanbul Park is a fast track especially turn 8 is very impressive. It will be good to see the race next week as it is going to bring memories from the previous years. In the end, it would be another victory for Ham who is going to establish his record more!

There are two MotoGP series left this season, the Ricardo Tormo Circuit and the Algarve International Circuit, but the world champion opportunity is still open. Even though today Joan MIR won the Gran Premio De Europa he is only forty-five points ahead of seventh place Andrea Dovizioso. This is really interesting because there are still seven riders having the opportunity to become world champions this year. It has always been a beautiful race on the Istanbul park.In fact F1 official page in Instagram is showing drivers in different years in the most beautiful part of the track, counter clock wise really fast turns one after another and with few bumps.I bet that there will be at least 1 Safety car in this track on Sunday.

All Yamaha have problems, faults or must start from the box so no chance this race. Also good performance from KTM, does Espargaro already regret the move to Honda?

MotoGP is at time more Motorsport for me than the boring Formula1 . by Rosi it looks like an electronic problem at your engine, so bad for all Yamaha drivers similar to Ferrari just not so bad, but very annoying because engine development is frozen for next year. https://us.motorsport.com/motogp/news/rossi-engine-freeze-no-excuse-yamaha/4906489/

@Real-Duke no problem after a few sides we already have the same discussion, but AakZaki is already a MotoGP fan, so i/weit hope with more insight and we may be able to inspire others, there may be more MotoGP fans in the future. I was a Formula1 fan for years (Senna, Berger, Prost, Schumacher,...) but in the last 10 years it has gotten worse and worse and I've come across to an more interesting motorsport.

I haven't followed Formula 1 last years but finally Turkish race track is on the calendar again. There is a big excitement in Turkey, last F1 race was held in 2011, we've waited 9 years. Due to corona there will be no fans in tribunes. Almost none of these pilots raced here before, so making a prediction is hard. Commercial photos are coming, some of these cars are in the streets. Looks incredible but I have to say Turkish roads are pretty bad normally. They must have fixed it before they came. Photo Source

Love the photo, looks so good! Very weird to see the F1 car on the street like this, part of the charm of the setting! Such a shame that fans are not allowed... Are there gonna be some special events for promo in this week ahead of the race?

F1 announced their calendar for 2021 season: As expected, there will be no races in Mugello, Portimao, Nurburgring, Imola and Istanbul. Instead this we will have penultimate championship race in new Saudi Arabia track :/. Damn,I miss times when championship winner was decided in final race in Sao Paulo... One track is yet to be announced, but it should be Vietnam I think.
