Started testing 9.7 with AMD RX series gpus. 480 nitro+ makes no difference over previous releases. Hopefully we will have a new release soon with way better features.

I've built ASM kernels for Baffin (RX460/560) cards with good speedup for DCR/SIA/PASC and may be 1% for ETH, now I check what I can do for Nvidia cards. New version will be available in 2-4 days.
Impatiently waiting for this I'm curious, would optimizations help your zcash miner too, I find it strange that old 7850 1GB Radeons have 50% better performance than RX560s with 4GB memory It is not memory size related. https://www.techpowerup.com/gpudb/2940/radeon-rx-560Memory Bus: 128 bit Bandwidth: 112.0 GB/s https://www.techpowerup.com/gpudb/1055/radeon-hd-7850Memory Bus: 256 bit Bandwidth: 153.6 GB/s But anyway I can get some speedup by building ASM kernels for Baffin. While what you say is obviously true (reason why old 280X have superb ZEC and subpar ETH results, due to 384 bit bus) I think there's still room for improvement, based on your recent work on ETH miner...it brought memory controller utilization from 60% range all the way up to 90%, along with improvements in secondary coin mining Currently your ZEC miner uses only 33% memory controller utilization on my card Of course, I'm not programmer, so I could be totally wrong

Thanks tried it on my GTX 1070. Up to par with ethminer. speeds now For dual mining I get quite some ETH hashrate drop for little DCR, so for now dual mining on my gtx 1070 is a no go.
well, dual-mining with gtx1070 still disappointed results ...
It depends on GPU, settings, selected coin, it's price and net diff. For example, for SIA on stock 1070 ccminer shows 1400MH/s. In dual mode in v9.7 I get 650MH/s SIA (so 45% of pure SIA speed) with only 2% ETH lost (about 25.8MH/s instead of 26.4MH/s). DCR speed is not so good, agreed. ETH - Total Speed: 119.699 Mh/s, Total Shares: 284, Rejected: 0, Time: 02:46 ETH: GPU0 28.884 Mh/s, GPU1 30.478 Mh/s, GPU2 30.198 Mh/s, GPU3 30.139 Mh/s SC - Total Speed: 2992.474 Mh/s, Total Shares: 843, Rejected: 1 SC: GPU0 722.094 Mh/s, GPU1 761.959 Mh/s, GPU2 754.947 Mh/s, GPU3 753.474 Mh/s gtx 1070 etc + sia I would love to learn you setting mate. Currently 3 Asus Dual GTX1070 @ 8708MHz mem clock 80%TDP. I'm getting poor result on Sia. average 30.4mh/s for eth 350mh/s for sia per card which is not even half of yours. DCRI 35 -dcri 75

Hey all,
I hope you have all been having a great weekend.
So when playing around with two 7970's I have laying around, I noticed what seems to be a relation between the DAG Epoch # set and my hashrate when running Claymore's EthDcrMiner using Nicehas running either Daggerdecred or Daggerhashimoto.
The miner has a tendency to set DAG Epoch #133 or #135, achieving a hashrate of say 25mh/s. However, when the miner sets DAG Epoch #1 (happens maybe 1/20 startups), the hashrate pretty much doubles.
If I understand correctly, the DAG is meant to be randomised on the fly, but I wanted to know 2 things :- 1) Is it possible to manually set the DAG Epoch?
or
2) Does anyone perhaps have an idea what is causing this issue?

Where did you hear that? Since I started mining its only going up

My Antivirus program Webroot SecureAnywhere reports always that Claymore's miner is a Trojan, but this is a false positive alert. Have set in SecureAnywhere the miner as allowed exception.

I think the architectural changes, on top of the drivers issues that Vega currently is having is the most likely culprit.

I am so desperate that I will donate eth if i solve this....
6x 1070, asrock h81 btc, win 10, latest nvidia drivers, claymore 9.6, 1200w PSU, Virtual set to 16 gb. Even at stock settings , the miner crashes, sometimes directly , and sometimes after 1-2 hours. I have tried different nvidia drivers, and even tried previous claymore versions. Tried swapping the cards around and setting in bios gen1/gen2 ( it should work out of the box ) I have connected the 2 molex connectors on the mobo and also having 6 powered usb risers. Only time i can get it to go a bit longer is if i have it at stock, but change the Power target to around 60% for all cards. I have a "wattman" and it says computer is taking 650w from the wall. but thats with low Power target, otherwise it is around 900. When it crashes, 1 card Always dissapears , both from the miner and from Afterburner ( in AB its there but cant change anything because its grayed out ) resulting in having to reset PC. Sometimes when it crashes , my monitor that is connected to 1 of the cards also shuts down. Most of the times i get BSOD after the crash and if that doesnt happen, the whole computer freezes up. I really want to Think there is enough Power to drive this with 1200w.
Edit : Just Before it crashes, my mouse curser is almost unmovable. Really laggy. But both cpu and memory are far from maxed out. My cards temp are also not capping, just around 60.
Any ideas ?

www.ubuntu.com, 1200W is definitely too little. 850W for mainboard and 3x cards. 850W for remaining 3x cards.

Was running 9.5 at 22.8Mh per card, now getting 24mh per card. Thanks claymore, definitely dont mind paying the devfee considering its paying for improvments to hashing speeds

Any ideas ?
Sounds like you're either overclocking too much, or one of your risers has an intermittent connection. Shady risers do all kinds of weird stuff.
