Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Yes it is called too much overclocking. Try not to. Or problem with power supply to one of the cards.

Or faulty card.

But it is too much ocerclocking 90%.

- You can always switch back as soon as he updates it.  Huh

- Yes....yes it can.

To me that would be like cheating on my wife because she's on the rag and refusing to play any bed sports.
Dumbest post I've seen in a while.

I'm back after a several year hiatus. So I guess it just hasn't been long enough for me to recall some of the crazier shit posted.

Guys, a newby here... I managed to get my GTX970 working but I get 1 of 2 errors...  I either get ETH: Share rejected! ETH: Too many rejects from pool, disconnect... ETH: - connection in 20 sec...
or I get Miner timed out after 5 GPU0 t=57C fan=0%

Am I connecting to the correct pool? here's my config...  [ EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool http://us2.ethermine.org:14444 -ewal *wallet adr.miner* -epsw x ]

thanks for any support you can provide!

I'm running driver version: 347.88 with no OC of my card

---UPDATE!!!---
I removed the "http://" from the config and I'm mining at 15.137!!! Awesome!!

Use the drivers suggested when you start claymores miners.  I'm currently running a GTX 970 Strix, and getting 16MH at 90% GPU utilization.  So I can still use my computer and play some older games. 368.81 I believe.

If you have samsung memory ethminer can do 200Mhs... but ppl think Claymore is god for ETH, but he does not care for Nvidia users at all if you are stupid to mine with slower software and pay fee he will not work on optimization!
Why would he, when ppl have no brain to decide for themselfs
What is your recommendation for nVidia ? Switch to ethminer 0.11.0 with latest CUDA: performance improvement or even got to ZCash ?

I'm really struggling to get the miner working on a GTX 980 I have. It was working fine but since trying to use the iGPU to use the computer and mine on the 980 even after DDU and disabling my iGPU so I'm back to how it was I'm getting errors

CUDA error 0 #102 - 46
CUDA error 0 #103 - 46
CUDA error 0 #105 - 46
CUDA error - cannot allocate big buffer for DAG

my bat file, which I run as admin

EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool etc-eu1.nanopool.org:19999 -ewal *My-Wallet-Address*.*My-Worker-Name*/*My-E-mail* -epsw x -mode 1

I'm On windows 10

382.53 drivers (Compute performance turned on)
Claymore 9.6

Parameters I have tried changing

-lidag 3
Virtual memory to 16gb
No-Overclock

The card seems totally stable, Can game on it no problem but this miner and Genoil crashes on DAG creation. Any ideas what could be causing this? Thanks

Try first to run all cards at stock settings. Then overclock one by one and see when it fails.

How long have you waited? It takes about 15 minutes for them to show on the mining sites stats. If longer than that you probably did not change start.bat with your login/wallet info?

Hey Claymore, any chance you could add a tweak to the miner in one of the upcoming versions that will let someone just straight up mine one of the secondary coins and not mine any ETH?  I know you can jack up the DCRI up, but I'm sure there's folks out there that may want to 100% mine SIA, Decred, LBRY, etc.

During final tests I noticed some problems, so I have to postpone new version for a day.

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.

is -dcri 15 the limit for not loosing eth performance?

Also am I crazy or SIA reduces ETH output more than DCR in the same -dcri level?

Depends on card vendor amd or nvidia and type of card.

For nvidia I know 25-30 for 1060, 35-40 for 1070, and 50-60 for 1080ti

Hi all,

I’m running the following rig:

Software:
  • Windows 10 Pro 64-bits v1703 build 15063.413
  • AMD Crimson ReLive Edition 17.6.2 driver
  • Claymore Dual v9.6

Hardware:
  • Asus Prime Z270-P motherboard
  • Asus 4GB D5 RX 580 DUAL OC

I run Claymore Dual with this command:
Code:
setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eth-eu1.nanopool.org:9999 -ewal [ETH-WALLET].AlfaRig/[MYEMAIL@EMAIL.COM] -epsw x -mode 1 -ftime 10

The problem is that I don't see the temperature of my GPU's?
How can I see the GPU temperature inside Claymore Dual 9.6?

In my second mining rig I run Nvidia GTX 1060, there I can see the temperature inside Claymore Dual 9.6.

Thanks in advance for any reply/answers!
