New version will be released within 24 hours.
Good speedup in dual mode for AMD RX460/560 cards.
Good speedup in dual mode for Nvidia cards, some speedup in ETH-only mode for some cards.

DAG updates Mr C or no news from the Frontlines?

No news yet.

@Claymore, can i use ESTALE: 0 in epools or i can use it only in the config?

You cannot use it in epools.txt.

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.

Mr. Claymore, do you need my log file of crashed ETH mining with AMD Vega for bug fixing in your miners?
I tested your ZCash miner too, same issue.

Thanks.

If I use -asm 2 -dcri 65, my reported hashrate increases slightly but my effective hashrate is incredibly sporadic.

Any reason for this?

... to go further then -100mV in MSI Afterburner for my R9 290. 50W less power consumption ..

Use Wattman in the AMD Settings and you should be able to set it as low as possible. Or BIOS-mod the card.

Is there any chance to add it to epools, its pool related parameter so it makes sense to be there i think...

It is not a bug. My miners do not support Vega yet. I will add it in 2-4 weeks, it requires much more than a few code lines.

Ok I will add it in next update (not in upcoming one).

Exactly 180 MH/s, but everything is revealed in the video and the related blog post. Including specs, settings, etc. Thanks for the good words. Wink

In the mean time have you tried sgminer? I know I've seen a video with vega mining and I'm pretty sure that's what they used. Only low 30s hash rate but better than zero (depending on your power cost  Cheesy)

Also I hope you have some earplugs!

I'd rather wait for claymore's miner to be updated.  Loyalty can be a struggle sometimes!

Can't be any worse than the 2 r9 290s I had...

To me that would be like cheating on my wife because she's on the rag and refusing to play any bed sports.

Except this is a video card not your wife.

Do you think Claymore cares if you use another miner while you wait?

Guys, has anybody noticed that hashrate of your rigs fell down a bit last time?
I had 1005 mh initially, after two months it was  992,  now it's 988, yeah it's not much but dont understand why this happened...same frequencies, similar memory error rate

I have searched so apologise if this is a noob question, just got a GTX 980 to add to a system with an rx 480 in it. Currently testing it in a separate system that normally runs a 1070 no problem doing the same thing I'm trying to do with the 980 which is boot and use the computer with the iGPU of the CPU and mine on the GPU.

If I boot with the display plugged into the 980 I have no problems but when I'm using the iGPU I get the error "CUDA error: cannot allocate big buffer for DAG"

my bat file, which I run as admin

EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool etc-eu1.nanopool.org:19999 -ewal *My-Wallet-Address*.*My-Worker-Name*/*My-E-mail* -epsw x -mode 1

I'm On windows 10

382.53 drivers
Claymore 9.6

Parameters I have tried changing

-gser 2
-lidag 3
Virtual memory to 16gb
No-Overclock

I'm pulling my hair out trying to get this to work ( what little I have left!), I have no problems doing the same thing on the 1070 but the 980 will just not play ball. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You need to use "-di <GPU #>"
So if your IGP is GPU 0, your 480 card is GPU 1, and your 980 is GPU 2; you need to use "-di 2" to use the 980 only, or "-di 12" to use the 480 and the 980
