@Claymore
Hey, played around with it. -gser 2 did not make a difference, but if I removed SIA minning and it works. Is there anyway to make both work?
On eth it is running no problems.
Thanks -Art
I already told you all my thoughts. @Claymore EDIT: Got it to work with lower SIA mining intensity. My guess is the cards wanted more power than the 2 x 8-pin connectors can provide mining both. Thanks for the help, keep up that hard work. You really need to have separate cables from psu to those 8-pin connectors if you are pushing that card. Otherwise you end up with melted connectors.

It looks like this issue is related to Linux version only. Pool does not answer for http request for >2 minutes and watchdog restarts miner. I can send you an update for tests with enabled http timeout, it must help. Send me PM if you want to test.

Added to OP: - Temperature/fan management for RX 480 is not supported currently. 480 card uses Overdrive v7, latest ADK SDK (v9) supports Overdrive v6, so currently AMD has no public documents about Overdrive v7 and therefore there is no way to manage temperature/fans/clocks of 480 cards.

I see, I noticed with this cards the miner does not show the temperatures and fan percentage, this is the reason then. Thanks.

Yes, I had this on Linux too. I was unable to send you FULL logs since I run diskless and before reboot my script saves only last 50 lines of log, and the rest in RAM was discarded on reboot. Anyway, I was sure that it is a network bug, so you are able to find it without full logs. As I wrote, it was an issue with pool (confirmed by pool operators), and it is definitely the bug in miner. But it did not bother me a lot (just once), so I did not enable logs after that (it was not repeated either). I am also able to test it, but I think it will be difficult to reproduce. So just add a timeout and hope it will be resolved.

The answer is how long do you mine SIA on nanopool :-) This was an issue with the pool that stopped/delayed responding to network requests. Miner probably had no explicit timeout check and decided that some execution thread was abnormally stopped. So it had to restart. On Windows some network errors detected much sooner (and as a side effect, Windows loses TCP connections instead of trying to wait a bit and recover). On Linux such connections still trying to recover for some time that exceed miner thread execution watchdog timeout. So there was no issue on Windows machines (miners just reconnected), but Linux miners aborted and restarted until pool recovered. This definitely needs a fix because any network issue with the secondary coin pool should not abort mining the primary coin.

Is it possible use the new Open Public Pool Siamining for SIA on Claymore's Dual ?
This are the pool detail:
Pay-Per-Share - 3% fee. Long Polling support - Minimize those stale shares! Variable Difficulty - Improves network efficiency and provides more accurate miner statistics. No Account setup - Simply use your wallet address as the username for easy payouts. Worker Support - Detailed statistics of each worker. Quick Payouts - Payments every 6 hours, with a low threshold of 2000 SC. No waiting on block confirmations!

Thank you for hint, just switched to it to test. Connection params are the same as for nanopool, just replace host name.

Any chances for dualmining with NeoScrypt? I don't think it's really possible. NeoScrypt is both compute and memory intensive.
