I've seen how this thread got a lot more quiter now, that most people have received their miner, but don't forget there are people still waiting (including me).
2 weeks delay with no compensation + November orders are coming online 2 weeks later instead of the projected 30 days.

And the worst part is that I feel hopeless

on the 2nd pool, I think you can just use putty to do it in cgminer, just remember to save to /config/cgminer.conf, and not the root/default directory. your default pool is pool 0, the backup is 1...

BTW... error rates, 1%, 3%, 3%. wow.

Dumb questions:

1) Did you apply all those hw tricks withe the machine switched on?
2) a part from makes VRM clicks and check the heatsink screws thre's something else to do?

Unreleated to this just wanna share that BB sys load lowered to 1.5 from 1.9 when using bfgminer instead of cgminer (bfgminer compiled fro source doeas not include  dynamic cores enable/disable mechanism committed on the 25)

I'm still confused about this process.  How do you save a file in putty?  I've seen this in other threads on knc. 

Also, are we all supposed to solo mine PPC now?  Looks like PPC is slightly more profitable right now.  http://www.wheretomine.com/

Get a refund instead and try to buy 21 btc if you're new.  you'll own 1/1m of the entire btc economy.

You should definitely get compensated as should anyone who hasn't had a rig yet...they said 3 days last fucking week. It's not a way to treat customers

Even if I get a refund I will be 400GBP out of pocket because of the different exchange rate now, than at the time of purchase.
I paid 4,602GBP for a Jupiter back in August and if they refund me I will get back 4398GBP now. Not KNC's fault obviously.

Still I want my miners, because I want to be involved in Bitcoin.

Download PPcoin Client
Install PPcoin client to a windows PC
Run once ppcoin client and quit
If your PC is Windows 7 goto Users/your user name/AppData/Roaming/PPcoin and create ppcoin.conf as follows

rpcuser=anyname
rpcpassword=anypassword
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcallowip=your pc ip
rpcport=9902
daemon=1
server=1
listen=1
gen=0

Then restart your ppcoin client and let download the whole block chain.
After that goto your miner and point to
your pc ip:9902
anyname (as above in ppcoin.conf)
anypassword
Restart cgminer, ensure via ssh that is working and hashing and wait
Average block finding time is 4-8 hours for a Saturn (each block equals to 0,41 BTC)

Like I said before, hitting their FB page will get their attention, and everyone else's who may consider a purchase. An extra module would probably set them about level though, make up for the losses espcially "hosted" units..can't call a pile of components hosted really IMO though.

It is not a full firmware and the only thing users may note is the hashrate won't lie with this one, as it won't count hardware errors as hashrate. Also my hardware error count is significantly lower with this on the Saturn dev machine I was sent.

I've seen my babies hatshing for weeks now.

I just put the case on our Saturn and it went from 42.5C to about 49.0 on the first module and 49.5 on the second.

It did seem to give an almost immediate jump in the Hash Rate. It makes no sense ot me as circuits generally run better when coller -- but a biger Hash rate is a Better Hash Rate -- so....

Still at .95 Software.

Have not tried the CKolvas version of the software -- though I do know how to update it. Just don't want to touch a working unit unless there is a clear and worthwhile gain.

A little more info on the "screen" command for those who are curious.

screen is a full-screen window manager that multiplexes a physical terminal between several processes (typically interactive shells). Each virtual terminal provides the functions of a DEC VT100 terminal and, in addition, several control functions from the ISO 6429 (ECMA 48, ANSI X3.64) and ISO 2022 standards (e.g. insert/delete line and support for multiple character sets). There is a scrollback history buffer for each virtual terminal and a copy-and-paste mechanism that allows moving text regions between windows.

When screen is called, it creates a single window with a shell in it (or the specified command) and then gets out of your way so that you can use the program as you normally would. Then, at any time, you can create new (full-screen) windows with other programs in them (including more shells), kill existing windows, view a list of windows, turn output logging on and off, copy-and-paste text between windows, view the scrollback history, switch between windows in whatever manner you wish, etc. All windows run their programs completely independent of each other. Programs continue to run when their window is currently not visible and even when the whole screen session is detached from the user's terminal. When a program terminates, screen (per default) kills the window that contained it. If this window was in the foreground, the display switches to the previous window; if none are left, screen exits.

Thanks!  my hardware errors would never go below 7.1  now they keep dropping 6.9,6.8,6.7............down to 5.4 and looks like it keeps getting lower.  And hash is sitting at 545 GH/s for now.... lets see what this bad boy will do.

Update.... Down to 4.9 so far...  Up to 548 GH/s average on cgminer  and first time i have seen a jump over 700 on Eligius..... only if there was a way to make it stay there lol...
