Got my new shiny boards and I am currently enjoying a tradional Swedish meal (chicken kebab ) until it's time for the plane. Nice one! Hopefully you will be really flying when you get them all up and running. What are you planning on doing with the upgrade modules? Did you get a case or any info on what to use?

Searing... you can flash back and fourth no problem...just remember to clear your browser casche every time. for me, the beta, and no gui or putty is best... ok just to be clear I can simply flash back to .95 the same way I flashed forward to .99?\ probably an't gonna go back to .95 I've gained about 18gh in hashing on ave and 12gh on the pool so far and went from up 700 in WU Yep I go back to .96 all the time because none of the newer firmwares do anything to improve my Jupiter except make it use more power and then after a few days lose more GH/s So normally for me, its reflash 0.96, reboot, flash enablecores, reboot, flash bertmod (don't reboot) hmmmm.......enableallcores or not...hmmmm....bertmod or not....you have to know from my previous posts being a coward seems to help (my miner senses fear like the alien in the original star trek series episode....same feeding issue only explanation of its robustness in mining....) ...so...being a pessimistic coward has worked for me.... thanks for the advice will probably try that in a day or two as my pucker factor after upgrading from .95 to .99 gets better and the fact that www.mtgox.com still shows $606 USD as I note at this post (we also serve who cower and quiver...er at least I've not bailed on my 21 btc yet)...still have not bricked unit yet and yelled for help (something to look forward to my panic in forums when this happens) will be 1 month mining Monday 11/18 at 8:30pm or so CST USA....... quite the ride...and a U.S. Senate hearing on Bitcoin tomorrow er here is the link I've been saying it is a house hearing...I guess it is a U.S. Senate Hearing....I make a prediction that the Senator from N.Y. where finance is big is really really gonna not like BTC from that banking state imho here is the Cspan link http://www.c-spanvideo.org/program/Currenciso if they are positive even a little or neutral on BTC ....strap your self in for a rocket launch on BTC vs USD price imho ..if negative on BTC imho it will correct somewhat but I've no idea how nuts BTC prices will go ...if by some miracle it comes out that this hearing has no issues with BTC of any note Things might go better than expected. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2013-11-18/u-s-agencies-to-say-bitcoins-offer-legitimate-benefits.html

Got my new shiny boards and I am currently enjoying a tradional Swedish meal (chicken kebab ) until it's time for the plane. And here I always thought that Brochettas de Pollo were a traditional Mexican dish... http://www.elbambu.mx/Learn something every day... Just thinking about them makes me hungry... Best wishes for your trip BTW -- get home safely!

I probably shouldn't be counting other people's money, but since he has been bragging about it. I feel sorry for phoneix who spent about $12K(by today's btc value) for one of his nov jupiters. No wonder he is a bit quiet lately.

Remember the memory issue? You are partially responsible for helping identify the leak. The memory won't get gobbled up if you stay off the GUI, putty, and bertmod..... and just use the pool to monitor... Just checking...

They are doing the right thing when they look after their customer's interests. Limiting the total growth is one way. Another would be to produce as much as possible and offer discounted hash rate to previous customers. The latter could be more beneficial to their customers as it would decrease the influence of competing solutions from other vendors. But for Bitcoin as a whole I prefer seeing lot's of competing products out there We'll see how long KNC remain this dominant though! Sticking to the "Network Protection Statement" would be detrimental to the company at this point. Their success is mostly due to "Time to market". If they were looking for a way to loose customers(and their not), all they would need to do is stop delivering for a bit, and watch us all go start buying HF & CT Equipment in December.... not going to happen. You can Disregard the NPS * I'm almost ready to do such a thing. Soon..., like within a few days, many of us will have enough BTC already to start thinking about new orders.... So... **Taking pre-orders for the next batch would be a good idea at this point*** Hint....Hint.....

I still find pretty much all mining equipment heavily overprized for the fact that no asic miner company had any money of their own invested and pretty much financed all with the preorder money. If they had used venture capital the price would be adequate, but raking in so much profit with a loss for the miners is not only morally wrong but will eventually lead to alternative approaches to the mining equipment production problem. They only damage their own consumer base with that...

If they had used venture capital the price would be adequate, but raking in so much profit with a loss for the miners is not only morally wrong but will eventually lead to alternative approaches to the mining equipment production problem. They only damage their own consumer base with that... Let's look at it this way, Current Jupiter's are making roughly $2,000/Week at current BTC prices. What does this value the machine at? Most likely more than $8,000 which is greater than it's original value. BTC is going up so the machines worth in USD will continue to hover around the purchase price. In 6 month from now if BTC price continues to escalate at the same rate as difficulty or great, you will have close to the BTC you could have purchased at the time AND a machine that has value. That's how I see it, the machine will always maintain some sort of value as long as BTC/USD price increases. Plus it's much more fun to mine than hold coin
