I'm having the "one card drops to 0 h/s" issue too.  I get that error then the whole rig stops hashing with the GPUs even though XMR still shows activity.  Eventually the system crashes when i try to quit the miner and I have to reboot.  It happens after 45-60 mins of mining almost every time.  I'm going to reinstall windows again but this issue is making me rethink my XMR mining.  I might end up ditching this project and going with asics if I cant get it working.  Has anyone solved it?

Sigh.  Vegamining blog for a script that you can modify to monitor hash rate and restart.  If the same card keeps dropping to "0" dial back the P7  and P3 settings using OverDriveNTool and apply that profile to just the weak card.

Does anyone have problem with hash rate drop after closing Teamviewer session? I have stable 1800h/s per card mining speed with my 8x VEGA 56 mining rig when Teamviewer is on. But if I close Teamviewer and come back after couple of minutes then cards have dropped to 1500h/s. I have HDMI Dummy Plug and I have disabled lock screen from Windows and I'm using blockchain AMD drivers. Also I disable and enable all gpu's before starting XMR-miner.

OC Settings of GPU's (testing phase):
Core: 1200 / 950mv
Memory: 915 / 950mv
Power Limit: -20%
use Chrome Remote Desktop from Google, it has a PC version and an iOS and Android version. Amazing software!

Thanks for the quick reply. I tested this a few times throughout the last 3 days, and it is consistent (after about 10-14 hours of straight mining). Of the 4 times, one of them had the rig slow down it's hashrate from 1900 h/s to 1500 h/s. I don't use Wattman for anything EXCEPT fan speed control.
never use nor install Wattman, just install the GPU drivers. For fan control use OverdriveNTool, as explained in this guide http://vega.miningguides.com/

I am also looking for a Linux version.

Not a lot of point to a LINUX version right now, since there are ZERO WORKING LINUX DRIVERS for the Vega.

it would be nice if in the next versions fix the problem with a falling hash rate on one of the cards in the console

congrats! for those who have 6 or more Vega 56 cards...how do you plug them all to the PSU taking into account that every Vega takes up 2 VGA power supply slots? I have 6 Vega 56 but two are just unplugged because my 2 750W PSUs don't have more than 4 VGA 8 pin inputs

You can sell one Vega and buy very good PSU for its price. Moreover, selling price will be much higher than you bought it because of out of stock and crazy hype ))

haha, thanks for the suggestion!! In fact I have 4 Vega 56 doing nothing, just 2 of them are working. 4 are plugged (2 for each PSU) but my second PSU doesn't work because it's not connected to the ATX 24 pin port of the MOBO. Newbie life....now I need a 2 to 1 24 pin ATX connector, to plug both PSUs to the MOBO.

Have you ever tried doing a softpowerplaymod with those settings?  Did it work?  Whenever I try settings like that, card refuses to boot, or P states "disappear".

The Lepa 1600 has 12 ports, well 6 split to 12 but right at PSU.

The EVGA 1600 has 9 ports (this one is better)

Get those for good results.  Fuck linking little shit together.

how do i solve the falling hash rate problem? Seems like the hashrate keeps going down after mining for a while.

what type are your PSU? Use 2 corsair 1000w, or even 2x 850. They come with double 8pin cables and you have enough to run all 6.

That's usually more of an issue with one of your GPUs. It would be nice if the program could continue without crashing when one card drops off, but there's an equal chance that's a driver/Windows issue vs a Cast issue.

Not a lot of point to a LINUX version right now, since there are ZERO WORKING LINUX DRIVERS for the Vega.
You mean these? Granted, they aren't as performant as the Windows drivers, especially since I don't think there's a way to set the clock/voltage rates as easily, but the drivers do indeed exist.

I learned about this miner just today, also learned about the amd blockchain driver today too Smiley (I was using nicehash so ... never bothered before :/ ) The thing is I am getting 700h with rx480 with normal amd driver. I wanted to ask if I'll get additional performance if I use the specific driver or is this the best this card got. (I am also getting 700 with 9.7 claymore)
