I was able to submit 3 pieces of writing for this round (verified via the analytics files) which accumulate to more than 1,000 words. Each piece had 1 unique page view. However I am not on the receiver list. Can someone clarify why that is?

What's your username there? I don't see you on the list...

The round 26 receiver files have been uploaded to:
http://galaxies.mygamesonline.org/receiver_26.csv
http://devcoinpool.btc-music.com/receiver/receiver_26.csv
http://devcoinblockexplorer.info/receiver/receiver_26.csv
http://devtome.com/files/receiver_26.csv
http://devcoin.darkgamex.ch/receiver_26.csv
http://d.evco.in/receiver/receiver_26.csv
http://show-me-the-devcoin.info/devtome/receiver_26.csv

The account file is at:
http://galaxies.mygamesonline.org/account_26.csv

There were 857 original receiver lines, so the average number of devcoins per share is 180,000,000 dvc / 857 = 210,035 dvc. Administrator pay is 121.0 shares, 14.1 percent of the total. The value at vircurex is 0.495 mcbtc/dvc, which works out to 0.104 btc. People are having trouble withdrawing money from mtgox, so their price is not real:
http://bitcoincharts.com/markets/

I won't use the mtgox price until that's resolved, instead I'll use the bitstamp price of 104$, which gives a share price of 11$.

People on that list will start getting those coins in round 26, starting at block 104,000. The procedure for generating the receiver files is at:
http://devtome.com/doku.php?id=devcoin#generating_the_files

The next bounties will go into round 27:
https://raw.github.com/Unthinkingbit/charity/master/bounty_27.csv

Where can the analytical be viewed?

Yay! DVC now set up on my personal site.

www.7thcav.us now accepts PayPal or DVC. Test it if you like, there are a few free ebooks on there or you could just go through the motions to get to the coinpayments.net payment page. Very cool.

(I removed BTC as an option)

10 confirmations needed to complete transaction. Sheesh.

Not sure If I'll be adding your site to the popular links list, since I'm a little unclear about what your product is, are you selling Ebooks, or online Historical documents?

Bounty for Namecoin cloning howto doubled. If you are able to provide a howto clone namecoin to devtome you gonna get now 2 mio DVC. This is not just about using that code just for http://icoin.ch, but for everyone who would like to run a namecoin based crypto clone. We look at this not from a financial perspective but from a technical.
Twobits messaged me around August 1. that he has made Icoin (namecoin clone) and requested a payout. I told him that he has to deliver the source code first, unfortunatly he never delivered, so the Bounty for the namecoin clone code is obsolete, since the deadline was not met.

If you are interested to join the developers team around http://icoin.ch and its clones, please hit me a im.

What you posted is not correct.   I never requested a payout.   I told you I had made the code, yes.   You then requested a change in the phrase,  to something in a language I do not know.   I messaged you back saying I needed to use ASCII only and a transliteration attempt which I thought would be ok, as it only changed quote types.  I asked you if that would be ok, including the example in quotes.  You have yet to get back to me about that being ok or not.

Is it not at the bottom yet? Normally, when something bounces on the bottom, it can only go higher.  Smiley

It's hard to say.  Bitcoin keeps going up but there's no hype so it's not taking the other coins with it yet.  And at the same time devcoin keeps diluting which means plenty of devs who need the money will keep selling as will many pools.  This combination means Devcoin's price can keep going lower until something changes.

I'm hoping Bitcoin gets its ETF license which would change everything and bring in lots of new miners and millions of speculative investors.

Isn't it already only at 44 satoishi's, it can't go lower than 0 here or am I missing something. Is there another digits it goes to because on vircurex looks like we are at almost absolute 0.

Absolute zero doesn't exist in this entire very finite and material universe so yes, Devcoin, like any other coin can keep going lower. There's an infinite decimal places after the current one.

absolute 0 is temperature.

In any case, when the costs is at or very close to zero, the real cost could be considered negative, since you have costs of your time to check on things, costs of electric and bandwidth to run the program etc.

Yeah, but even with temperature it cannot be reached.

"Absolute zero is the coldest possible temperature. More formally, it is the temperature at which entropy reaches its minimum value. The laws of thermodynamics state that absolute zero cannot be reached using only thermodynamic means. A system at absolute zero still possesses quantum mechanical zero-point energy, the energy of its ground state."

I would ague that there's a speculative value to any coin which, if accumulated, can carry a very large potential future value.  For me that's why I accumulate coins such as Devcoin and a few others.  I'm thinking longer term so the short term drop in value doesn't bother me at all, and I actually see it as a big opportunity to buy more coins.
