Well i'm in the same boat as finshaggy here... tried to set new password and user not in DB Also I have the tick enabled to remember me. I have tried this on 2 separate comps as well .. one windows one linux still both no access to devtome FuzzyBear Who's managing the Devtome user database? Someone got an itchy trigger finger by the sounds of it. I am sure it'll all work out soon enough let me pass on a message. Are you sure you cannot login with email either? Last I remember Jasinlee deleted some spam account back when I joined, and I have not heard of anyone doing any other admin work on users since that. I did notice in the past that an admin can reset / change the password for a user if they edit the individuals account and just tick the box to send the user an email then click save. Tried logging into using email and nope no access Oh nasty, if the database is really losing information gosh knows what other data it might have lost in addition to some of the users...

It strikes me as an error by an admin or server error or something... as finshaggy says as well none of his articles are gone and neither are mine.. will need to double check the payout address but no sign of edits on the wiki. FuzzyBear

How many users are effected? I will see if you are still in the db. If not we will get it fixed. It may be a bug in the script due to me disabling registration completely. We were getting warnings from the host yesterday about the amount of IO on the site due to the bot registrations.

Can someone please check ranlo's writing.
I have a tip that his account is but one of many Devtome spam accounts in a network of one individual gaming the system.
Sad as it may seem.

http://www.devtome.com/doku.php?id=wiki:user:ranlo page not found. Maybe uses other names for spam accounts? -MarkM-

I'm affected now, oddly. I have no issues logging in but I occasionally get logged back out when going from one page to another (and then logging in again fixes it for a little while).

Does it have cloudflare enabled? If not we should get protection.

This threads getting spammy again and there's malicious bots screwing around with devtome, maybe there's a connection.
Good observation, I was noticing the coincidental return of a certain users posts (and double posts, and triple posts) but didn't want to make the connection lest he feel conspiratorial.
