Some changes on the website:

  • Added btc/nmc filter for transaction history
  • Added your average hashrate to shifts page and show score as percentage
  • Worker page: show 10 workers at a time + added filters
  • Live stats: only list BTC blocks in latest block list + change mhps to ghps

One thing I like on another pools site that concerns me here is not having Two Factor "Google" Authentication and the ability to lock a payout address.

These are what I would like to see...

1) Two Factor "Google" Authentcation added.
2) To disable 1, a code must be entered... this protects things protected by Two Factor "Google" Authentication.
3) The abbility to lock a payout address so it cannot be changed.
4) The ability to change a lock payout addres but requires the entering of the Two Factor "Google" Authentication code.
5) Basically any account setting changes should require the entrance of the Two Factor code.

There was some other minor stuff I sorta forgot lol but I feel the four above things should at least to me be a sort of priority on a todo list.

To be decided...

If you use Google or Verisign you should be able to activate their 2-factor authentication for logging in.

Using it to protect account settings could be interesting though. I'll look into it.

Although it is cleaner looking I am not loving the shifts page.  Although it shows a hashrate my percentage is just 0.0000 for every shift.  Kind of liked seeing the score more better.

What do you mean it shows zero. *whistles innocently* Have another look.

Maybe I should make a shift page, like the block page, with more details on each shift.

Dont know what verisign is but as far as google goes, I jus got gmail for my android and use two factor on slush pool, the blockchain site and mt gox. So kinda lost what your sayin here.

Yes it would be, I guess payment address dont technically have to be locked if two factor is used tto make any account changes. So outside of someone havin access to the sites DB. I should technically be able o give my PW to the world and unless any one of them has my phone then there's nothing they could do except look at wha I have set.

Also, by using it to make any account changes. I mean everyhing from adding / deleting a worker to even modifying a worker / adding / removing perks since technically any account change no matter how small can affect the end user "me".

To be decided...

That would be nice.  Another thing I was noticing was that on the block page, it shows all the payouts, but this data is really hard to plow through if you are looking for something specific.  I wanted to go see what my exact payout was on that block with the gigantic 36 BTC fee, and finally gave up.

That's only if you're looking for something extra to do...

Of course minutes after I posted this, I discovered I could get this information from the transaction history page.

Still, the reams of payout data on the block page is kind of hard to plow through.  Might be good to have some sort of search or sort feature there.

I agree. A search box would be nice to find myself in the huge list.

Just curious, but what happens when we get to 9000 workers? I'm referring to the livestats page graphic btw.

Vegeta screams at you and crushes the display.  Seriously though, I'm pretty sure BitMinter's graphics always show the pointer near the next large round number, and it auto extends as needed.

A lot of users are disappointed to find the display just changes to accomodate higher numbers. I'll have to think of something more cool for the future.

Seems to be running fine from what I can see. Are you seeing timeouts or something else?

I haven't received anything since November 9th 21:00 UTC which is not normal.

It could be related to when you updated the site, or maybe it's fluke. But nevertheless even though I am hashing I still have reached my daily payout number from yesterday which suggests something funky is going on with the site.

Thanks

Weird.  Could be my ISP thing.  I am now mining on Eligius but I can't do Bitminter/BTCGuild for some reason.
Restarted everything I could restart.

You don't get any payout if the pool isn't finding blocks. One 16 hour block makes the reward graph go flat Sad

Question:

I mined at your pool for a bit but didn't quite understand it so I left. Now I'm back with small amount of hashing power trying things out again.

I need to know what happens if my miners disconnect in middle of a shift?

Does the pool work like BTCG where I get paid for work my miners have completed even if they are now offline? Or is it like Slush where if my worker goes offline all work already completed goes to neverland? I hate that part of Slush because things happen, work done is work done.

Hope to get answers, my hashing power on Slush needs to find a new home.

This is PPLNS with shifts, so you get paid for the work done on the last 10 shifts. So you yes you get paid  Smiley

Nothing bad happens with the work you already did in a shift if you disconnect and stop working.

If you have noisy miners and need to sleep, or you have expensive electricity part of the day, then you don't have to mine 24/7.

But the more work you do the more you get paid. That goes for any pool and any reward model.

Thanks for clarification. I'm understanding the dashboard and immense information given slowly one thing at a time. Earlier I made some suggestions and now I see why those suggestions were not implemented since those are no needed that much.

What I'd like to see is a timer showing "time since last block found" as it would help in deciding when to turn off my miners for the night and other times of the day.

I don't think you have a full understanding of the situation yet.

There is no benefit (or drawback) in turning off your miners at a specific time. It doesn't matter if the last block was found 10 seconds ago or 10 hours ago. Whatever happened in the past has no effect on what will happen in the future. All that matters for your payout is your average hashrate in the last 10 shifts when a block is found. Trying to "time" when it is best to turn off your miners makes no sense at this pool; there is no "best" time.
