And here’s the post fight press conference.  Check out the arms on Dana.  Lolol.
He probably have a gym at his own home and at workplace spending hours lifting those weights, and maybe doing some sparring with fighters who knows Smiley
I think he was very happy with Gane winning this fight and he is hoping to make big numbers on superfight with Ngannou.
Jose Aldo is back again with a win after changing his weight categories all the time, and he is calling out for T.J. Dillashaw as his next opponent.

I think Stipe makes the most sense to me, but then again I'm probably bias, as I don't think Gane is ready for Ngannou. I don't know, I've been wrong multiple times about Gane, and he's won convincingly each time. So, I don't know logically to me he should get through Stipe first, since I'd probably make that Stipe VS Ngannou fight again, as that's been a lot of fun each time.

I'd like to order one drug test for Dana please, nah I'm kidding obviously.

Lads I'm going to go out on a limb yet again, however TJ wins that fight convincingly.

Even i would like to see Stipe Miocic getting the opportunity but i am not sure why he was left out of the title picture when the UFC made the interim belt, may be Stipe rejected the offer but i am not sure about that but anyone facing the champion should have gone through Stipe because he was the champion for a long time.

From what i have heard T.J. Dillashaw is badly hurt after the fight against Cory Sandhagen and he underwent knee surgery and he is hoping to get recovered in three month but i am not sure how he is going to recover from a knee surgery in three months and Aldo is a heavy kicker and if T.J rushes back without recovering Aldo can kick the shit out of that leg  Grin.

T.J is to have surgery on his knee? I know he was caught in the leg quite early on, was it the first or second round, but that's the first I'm hearing about the surgery? He seemed like he was hurt, however he put on a good poker face, and powered through it. It would be a shame if he's out for a while now, I know he has a lot to prove still, I mean with all the drug issues, and the fact that he hasn't really got a lot of fans on his side even after that win.

Yeah, Stipe should be the guy to get through, for a chance to get a shot at Ngannou. That's if they don't make a rematch with Stipe, and Ngannou. I don't like how the fights are organised sometimes, and this is much more prevalent in boxing, but Dana will be looking after the best interests of his pockets, rather than the fights fans want to see.

Derrick Lewis is still higher than Gane in rating? I don't know how UFC makes its rankings but Cyril Gane has won 10 times out of 10 fights in MMA, whose only 3 by decisions. The 3 decisions were unanimous.
On his last 10 fights Derrick Lewis won only 7 times with one victory by split decision and 2 by unanimous decision.
Moreover he has lost against Junior dos Santos by TKO at the 2nd round while Cyril Gane has won against him by TKO at the second round... So for me his form was and is still under Gane's one.

According to the UFC rankings I'm seeing Ciryl Gane as the number 1 contender for the belt, with Ngannou obviously being the champion. Stipe in second, and Derrick Lewis in third. Tapology also has it as the same rankings, so I'm assuming they are accurate. Maybe, they were not updated when you guys took a look?

It's showing the same for me, Stipe Miocic and Derrick Lewis both dropped by one position and Curtis Blaydes is below them with Alexander Volkov.
Fight between Ngannou and Gane is making most sense for me and this will probably bring most money to UFC with pay per view, unless some miracle happens and we have Jon Jones back fighting in octagon.

^  Lewis was outclassed.  Cyril Gane is just too good.  I wasn’t really that convinced at first cos he doesn’t have that much professional fights.  But man, the guy is a talent.

And here’s the post fight press conference.  Check out the arms on Dana.  Lolol.

UFC 265:  Post Fight Conference
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mJKk5IUGm6o

Dana is on the combo of that Mexican food truck meat burrito and a gallon from the T.J. Dillashaw juice. The dude has been trying to out-angle every fighter he takes a picture with. Yeah, you fighters are not allowed to do shit, but me, oh boy imma gonna become a cloud from all the TRT.

Yeah it probably is the fight to make. I've had it in my head that Gane needs a few more fights before taking on Ngannou, but looking at the rankings now he's already been up against most of them. It's particularly surprising because he only has around 10 fights so it feels like he hasn't been around all that long.

I'll be honest, I've probably been sleeping on Gane, and been a unfair critic. I've finally stood up, and noticed now he's ranked as the number one contender Tongue.

It will be interesting to see the odds for this fight and who will be favorite to win, so I founds some early odds on FanDuel and DraftKings that give only a slight advantage to Francis Ngannou.
This can change in future depending on bets placing but some people even claim he should be favorite to win.

I was also a Gane sceptic and I was thinking before that UFC throw him in fire earlier than expected, but he performed great in last two fights and he now has my full respect, but I am not fan of bias UFC rankings at all.

Honestly, I'm hoping the odds of Gane VS Ngannou stay somewhat close or the odds reflect people buying into the hype of Gane. I'll be going for Ngannou despite Gane proving me wrong multiple times now, however I just can't overlook the fact that Ngannou is an absolute monster in the division, and he made massive improvements with his recent win over Stipe, which proves he can actually adjust to his competition too.

Alright, I'm actually a little hyped for the fight now. Make it happen, Dana.

This is really an interesting fight and just like you, I am actually itching to see this happen, And both have the same trainer back then and a former MMA fighter now Trainor Fernand Lopez, so this is a good fight we can see from the Stipe Miocic that Francis Ngannou is not just a brute, but we can now see how Patience Ngannou can be with his fight with Miocic, So this is a good fight, but Still I really like Cyril Gane he can sure deliver what he is saying, he said on the press conference on UFC 265 that he is aware and knows the strength of Francis Ngannou because they are previous training buddies.

I can't see anyone else who deserves a shot at Ngannou more than Cyril Gane as he's unbeaten, but maybe Stipe would be a good fight before Francis. I don't see anyone beating Ngannou right now though.

I don't think anyone is ready for Francis. It probably depends on what Ngannou wants. He can pretty much command whoever I just hope he doesn't get too stubborn or greedy like Jon Jones. I'm sure there's a lot of fighters who don't want to fight him either. I wouldn't be in a hurry to get into the ring with him as I'd like to keep my head attached to my neck  Cheesy.

I don't have any beef with Gane getting a shot with Francis. After all, this was an interim fight and interim champions always get a title shot, and no reason anyone else should be ahead of Gane. He beat everyone he could, Stipe can beat someone else before the Francis trilogy.

Why not have a Stipe Miocic VS Cyril Gane, but that Black Beast fight was more than enough qualification for a Francis Ngannou fight, just to say that Cyril Gane is the number 1 contender to really fight Ngannou, well anyway, I am really excited about that match, I am pretty hype from Gane's last fight because I surely never think that he can TKO/KO Derrick Lewis, Even though I am a fan of Cyril Gane I am doubting his power if he can ever Knock out the Black Beast, so I am pretty amazed on what Cyril Gane can do now.

^  That’s cos Lewis was on a 4 fight win streak and Miocic got KO’d last spring by Ngannou.  The UFC can’t just match him vs another killer like Gane.  And that chin should be given enough time to recover imho as Miocic got starched.  His next match should be vs somebody who also just came off a loss.  Prolly somebody like Blaydes.  A trilogy wouldn’t make sense atm.

Gane vs Miocic would be a nice fight to see. As Miocic is top1 now, in would be fair for Gane to fight against him.
Heavyweight division lacks fighters that could really compete with the champ. Only few fighters have chances against Ngannou. And there is sadly no fresh blood in heavyweights.

Blaydes would be a interesting fight, but if it was to be made I feel like it would have been made before the Derrick Lewis fight if this was on the schedule. I do believe Gane will get the opportunity against Ngannou. I don't he's ready, and I'm not sure if he will ever be ready, but as you put it a lot of the fighters in the division are currently recovering from some nasty knockouts. Particularly Blaydes, and Stipe. Before of those knockouts were significant ones.
