Amanda can bring a lot of fans which I guess If I have to create a conspiracy about it, Dana plans to have a trilogy for the two to make more money and that for the rematch Amanda will win. A cash grab for UFC promotion.

Oohh some good theory there. It's possible and they have to make as much money as they could while they are letting fans watch the game.
Soon, a new variant will come out and we might go back to the bubble style. Stay at home and just watch pay-per-view.
I tried reading back to all the analysis that was made and all are 90 percent for Amanda to take the win. Maybe, just maybe it was all a bit scripted by Dana for the purpose that you said. But we have no proof of it and just be thankful it was an entertaining match.
Right now, that fight will be on top of my upset list.

After Oliveira won in UFC and was walking through the crowd to his locker room, some guy stole his glasses. These were not his stylish sun glasses, but a regular glasses. That is a lot of disrespect. The guy whole stole them, he is not a fan, but a thief. In the comment below some guy wrote that this thief deserves a punch in a face and I agree with him. Good glasses are not cheap and they can not be obtained with a finger snap, specially if you are abroad.

^ Well a lot had happened and I never imagine how good Charles Oliveira is and for me, Tony Fergusson is not a big an achievement than    Justin Gaethje, Max Holloway, Dan Hooker, and Conor McGregor, but that technicality of what Oliveira did was impressive, So I surely love to stay and have a lot of conversation regarding what happened to 269, but I really want to move on and move forward.

^  I looove the main event.  Chris Daukas has been my guy since his UFC debut last year vs Parker Porter.  I have always placed some ML action on him in whatever line the books give.    It’s sad he’s matched up vs Derrick Lewis tho.  This is Daukas’s big test.  If he wins this match, I think he’s one fight away then a title shot.  I’ll bet Daukas but super low confidence.  

Other spots I like are Elkins to win at 2.65, Gato to win at 2.55, maybe Andre Ewell at 2.60.  Lemos vs Hill under 2.5 rounds at 2.60 looks good imho.  Lemos finishing ability is undervalued by the books.

I am also pumped to see the main fight. This fight definitely gonna end with a KO/TKO. Both guys just dont know how fight elsehow I also think this is going to be a short fight. Daukaus opponents barely survive till second round. Lewis 5 out of 8 losses are by KO/TKO, so I doubt that he has an anvil in his chin. I havent check the odds, but I think Lewis will be a favourite, however Daukaus has more chances to win. Lewis is, I would say, lazy in the ring. Lazy and cunny, likes to walk slowly in the ring, waiting for his opponent to lose stamina. He tries to show that he is tired and hurt, then explode with a punches. I bet Daukaus wont let Lewis play this game and the fight wont last more than 2 rounds.

I'm expecting a KO/TKO in both the Derrick Lewis fight, and the Wonderboy fight. Only doubt is the Wonderboy fight due to Wonderboy not exactly loading up on his shots, and being more a point based fighter. Though, I don't think Belal will have much to offer on the night. Very bad match up for him I'd say, I would be very surprised if he manages to get anything in the rounds. Not sure what his game plan will be, not particularly great at anything, while Wonderboy probably being one of the best stand up fighters in the UFC, despite slowing slightly with age.

Looks like a KO in Lewis vs Daukaus fight is the one that is going to save the event from being boring. I have scrolled through the main and prelims and havent found any familiar name in it. Maybe Thompsons can surprise the crowd as he is top5 in welterweight. But this division is full of other stars and the name of Thompsons has lost among them imho). That is quite strange, a guy is on such a position in top and other fighters in division barely mention his name.

Or I am just too spoiled with previous events… I just watch those who usually does not win be points.

Julianna Peña +650 underdog. Damn, I was shocked with the result too. How many gamblers lose their money on this event?   Even Joe Rogen might've put all his money on Nunes.
That brawl on the second round was the best and I am raping the replay.   That kind of thing doesn't happen a lot of times so yes it's entertaining and I wish Nunes the best and maybe train her stamina to get the title back.

I lost my bet on Amanda Nunes, but, well, who didn't? But after watching UFC 269: Julianna Peña Post-Fight Press Conference I was really swept off my feet by her cuteness. And not only that. It appeared that Nunes was postponing fights with Peña over and over in the past(maybe thinking that it wasn't that important for her career, idk), and now she was so sure of her victory that she wasn't even training much before the fight, while Julianna Peña was working hard, and she deservedly won. I'm glad she won.

It's too early for him to think about retirement. He's relatively young compared to other active fighters and still in good shape. He's probably two wins away from another title shot.

Speaking of winning title, let's take a look at some of the oldest fighters who won the UFC belt in their 30's or even 40's. We have Woodley, Liddell, Cormier, Bisping, and who could forget Couture?

This week biggest upset was Nunes loss, the goat was unable to defend her title against Penya, she was dominated. Uncle Dana will be very upset on his star champion.

Dustin Poirier was unable to capture what he was looking for, the title that he had long anticipated, I was surprised how easily Olivera was able to hold him down the canvas which might be due to some injuries he had sustained in the previous fights, but this was definately out of the character for him.
As I predicted in my earlier fight Shawn O'Malley dominanted the fight and got other highlight finish.

A monster like Amanda isn't likely going to be ruined easily. Never thought that Nunes will be defeated by Penya who doesn't even have a good Knockout record which I think Nunes didn't really do her best in this fight or it could be planned.

I disagree, it will not be a trilogy, I reckon. It will only be 1 rematch and uncle Dana will organize Kayla Harrison vs. Amanda Nunes championship fight in women’s featherweight if Amanda is the winner.

Kayla Harrison might be the next big name in women’s MMA similar to Ronda Rousey. I am aware that Amanda Nunes has a better record, however, Amanda has never reached the height of stardom Ronda has reached.



We are getting closer and closer to finding out where Kayla Harrison (12-0) will be fighting next and it could be the UFC. Harrison attended UFC 269 this past weekend where she watched Amanda Nunes take on Julianna Pena.

While Harrison is teammates with Nunes, the general thought was that Harrison could face Nunes at featherweight should Nunes get past Pena. This would be a superfight for women’s MMA and the UFC was very interested in making it happen.

Harrison was in the front row and even received camera treatment from the promotion. However, a giant wrench was thrown into the plans when Julianna Pena did the unthinkable and submitted Amanda Nunes in the second round of their fight.

It's almost a fair fight though since Daukas is also a TKO puncher. It will just go down to whoever of them first hit, I bet this will end in the first round only. Watched his video and reminds me of Josh Barnett. Daukas has to keep throwing for if he gives a break for Derrick to throw a punch, it will be the end of it.

LOL! I didn't want to say that but it's what we noticed too while we were watching. Some of my pals were disappointed actually It would have been okay/understandable to see them just brawl like that if it was the fourth or fifth round.

Hey, I am not going to shy away from criticism where criticism is due. I would never say that for a Namajunas / Weili fight. That seems like it's 30 years ahead of the other.

To be honest, it's the HW division. 90% of fighters could end the fight with one shot. I'd give Lewis a slight advantage here, just because he's been in the deep end more than once. Just the opposition that Lewis faced is much more considerable than what Daukas had before him. It might be oversimplified, but this is the HW division we are talking about, I'll take what i can get.

Poirier is already mentally broken, because after the fight he told that he will get home and think about if it worth continue participating. Poirier was too confident before the fight. And he losses too quickly against a BJJ/wrestling based opponent. Even though he has BJJ black belt.

He can face Makhachev - he will also lose by submission. Make a rematch with Gaethji? Perhaps. Or a fourth fight with McGregor. Then all what is left fighting old guys like Fergusson, Anjos, Hooker. But that wont be a huge fight.

‘Destined to lose’ seems like too strong a phrase to use don’t you think?  Lol.  So that means if you’re betting, you put action on Lewis and you always win 10 out of 10.  

Seriously tho, Lewis was finished either by KO/TKO or submission in all of his losses except for maybe a couple.  Check out his record.

And go watch the vid above vs Blaydes...  Blaydes was doing great until the uppercut.  But consider that Blaydes is mostly a wrestler.  I think Daukas could finish Lewis too and Lewis, Daukas.  So I wouldn’t say he’s ‘destined to lose’.

I don't have a lot to say about this fight. Probably just toss a coin for a winner and choose win by KO/TKO.

You should look at both fighters Stats and how they fight and compare them Chris Daukaus has training being a police officer, well compared him to Lewis he surely got the speed, and the strength with his punches, but in my opinion, Derrick Lewis is one puncher, if he can land just 1 punch on Daukaus this is over, but well, anything is possible here, Lewis has lost to Cyril Gane and not really expecting Gane to win with TKO but Chris Daukaus would pull something the same and surely he has trained with the Martinez BJJ so he could surely Wrestle now, maybe a takedown could cement pressure on the Black Beast, but I surely doubt, and yeah I think with this analysis I think it is not yet finalized so I will sniff some more information.

Well, he surely needs to fight in a higher league to improve himself or got any experience with the fight, but as you have said Derrick Lewis will be a very hard fight for him Lewis got that one punch KO, and a really good chin, but from his fight with Cyril Gane I didn't expect him to lost like that and knowing Gane has only the speed I was really wrong about that I surely don't want to doubt Lewis durability to withstand a punch from Daukaus, but Chris Daukaus is also a wrecking KO machine that surely has a punch, I will further sniff some information to follow up my picks.

^  Lewis seems durable but if you look at his record in Tapology all his losses were all finishes except for a couple.  So if Daukas just stays away from Lewis’ right hand, he should be able to finish Lewis before Lewis finishes him.  Lolol.  But yeah, Derrick Lewis is the biggest test for Daukas so far.  Winning means he’ll be in the top 5 and be in contention for a title fight or a title eliminator.

It appears that uncle Dana might not wait for the return of Amanda Nunes. A new storyline is developing between Juliana Peña and Kayla Harrison hehe. I would not be shocked if Juliana’s first opponent after being champion is Kayla Harrison. However, can she make the weight on bantamweight? Kayla is a very big woman. I reckon she might be bigger than Conor hehehehe.



Harrison’s theory could well be put to the test in 2022. After Dana White confirmed the former champ has the option for a rematch on the table if she wants it, both Nunes and the newly-crowned titleholder suggested it makes sense. However, Peña could be facing more than just a “Lioness” if she continues down her current path.

Following her title crowning, Peña discussed the possibility of facing Harrison. Dismissing the threat of the Ohio native, “The Venezuelan Vixen” branded the PFL champ, who she said has only fought in the “B-leagues” the “lesser of the training partners” at ATT.

I find his reaction normal. It's a tough loss to what could be his best opportunity (yet) to win the belt. He understand that as well that's why looked so down. I'm confident he'll be back after some motivation from his team/friends/family.

I don't know who he will be fighting next but I doubt he'll be discouraged just because they have a good ground game.

Regarding all the Dustin future plans talk, seems he is saying he might not ever fight at 155 again after underperforming this last fight (as per bloodyelbow.com), but I'd take that with a grain of salt. It's too early after the fight to really know what's going on in his head.
