New Zealand won the toss and decided to field. The pitch condition looks like today's pitch is also a bowling-friendly pitch. The decision to take the fielding seems to have been the right one. But in the previous match, New Zealand lost all wickets for just 82 runs. If the batsmen bat like that stupid, New Zealand will be defeated today too.

New Zealand's bowlers started the innings well. At the end of 7 overs Australia collected only 16 runs, Australia lost two wickets of Inglis and Finch. But if Australia manage to score 200 runs today I think they will win

Australia has already won the series. I am expecting Newzealand to come back in this match and not allow Australia to end this series as a whitewash against them. Highly disappointed by NZ's performance in this series just before the T20WC. After this match the next time these two teams will play against each other would be on 22nd of Oct 2022.

Australians are very much complacent in the match right now and they will end up making a good total. Also Australians have lost only three wickets and this means they have players to hit the bowl hard at the depth.
Australians have already won the series 2-0 and all of those were easy wins for them. This win will make them a clean sweep on their home ground.

Kind of bizarre to see an Aussie scorecard, that's some epic collapse in the same match where 1 batter scored 94 runs for the team and the rest of the team contributed only 38 runs, 3rd best scorer was Extras 9 runs.  

It was a holly molly moment when Zimbabwe scored the winning run and that too against a strong Australian side. Ryan Burl single handedly orchestrated the Australian collapse in the middle order and he took two catches in the outfield and picked up 5 wickets and then when Zimbabwe was struggling chasing the score he contributed with the bat as well and once in a lifetime moment for him .

I don't think New Zealand will win. After Australia lost 2 wickets for just 16 runs, I thought Australia would not be able to score even 200 runs. But Labuschange and Smith's massive 118-run partnership helped Australia set a target of 268. Smith and Alex Carey's 69-run partnership was much needed. The New Zealand team's highest score in this series is 232 runs. We have seen their very bad batting in the previous match as well. So I don't think that New Zealand will win today's match by batting for a huge target of 267 runs.

There is a lot of instability in the Kiwi team; while bowlers are doing their best, batters are having a hard time getting their form back. Today as Australian captain Finch was playing his last ODI so good performance from Smith, Labuschagne and Carey with bat and after this Starc and Abbot were their hero in bowling with this all they completely outclass New Zealand in this series with the result of 3 - 0 we have some late resistance from Philips, Neesham and Santner but this was not enough for having win for their team now its good time for them to think about their future which is looking not good as now we have few time for T-20 World Cup and after this they have ODI World Cup which is going to play in India which is never been ideal place for them to play cricket.

Williamson is also having the worst time with bat and captaincy which is surely going to have issue for them with they need change of mentality which is important as they already have good bowlers and batsmen for giving their best in this game.

There was no doubt that Australia was the better team in this series. As well as playing well against Australia, New Zealand also got close to winning the match. Every time, however, it was Australia who came out on top. As I said above, you can do it, and it did seem like New Zealand got close every time, but at the end of the day, Australia did not face too many difficulties during the match. The reason why I say that is because I believe Australia was never really tested by New Zealand in this series in my opinion. Anyway, the next time these two teams are going to face should be at the T20 World Cup. Good luck to both teams.

Bangladesh has been pushed to the third position, with England on top. Qualification scenarios remain the same. 7 of the direct qualification slots are already decided. And as of now, a total of 4 countries are fighting for the sole remaining position - West Indies, Ireland, Sri Lanka and South Africa. As per my understanding, West Indies has the maximum chances.

Disappointing performance from Newzealand in last odi series, with such performance they deserve a whitewash. Australia have the capability to bounce back even from number 8 batsmen as we saw in second odi where starc, zampa and Hazelwood scored runs to give some hope for the bowlers.

I think it is up to me whether New Zealand can do anything like that now.  If they try to play a little bit better then they can do it. They will have to struggle a lot for that. But I think batting and bowling both play an equal role in winning a match for a team.  I think so.  I think Australia and New Zealand are two very strong teams.  Both teams have good batting and bowling.

At the moment, New Zealand and Australia teams are almost equal in quality. Both teams have a lot of talented and experienced players. New Zealand lost the first two matches. The main reason for this was the performance of their batsmen was not good. Australia set a target of only 196 runs in the second match. Still New Zealand could not win. If the New Zealand batsmen can play well in the third match, they will win. But if the batsmen are not able to play well in the last match then Australia will win the last match easily. But my guess is that New Zealand will come back in the truck in the last match.

Yes you are right. New Zealand and Australia game will be a very tight fight.  I think maybe New Zealand will win this match. Because of that New Zealand players play a bit better.  If Australia try to play well then nothing can be said until the match is over.  Both teams will try hard to win the match.  So we have to wait to see who can win the match.

Furthermore I want South Africa to qualify, because they can cause some upset's in the tournament hence I’ll be really upset if they fail to qualify directly, and you’re right too many South Asian team’s may make the World Cup boring to watch.

South Africa has the maximum number of matches remaining (eight), but they also need the maximum number of points. Apart from the two matches against Netherlands, the remaining matches are against tough opponents (India and England). And they need a minimum of 4 wins (probably 5 wins, in case Sri Lanka ends up with 92 points). That means 3 wins from 6 matches against India/England. Not impossible, but it is going to be tough. And in case rain washes away any of their matches against Netherlands, then they will be in deep trouble.
