Pakistan Women vs Ireland Women, 1st ODI (ICC Championship Match) match won the toss and now Pakistan Women are batting. We have seen Pakistan Women played very bad game in previous matches. But in this match it seems that Pakistan Women will play well. Pakistan Women in 15 overs.  75 runs. And they have not lost any wicket so far. The game looks like Pakistan Women will play well.

Oh... finally we have an ODI series going on. And another boost to the PCB, because the Irish women found no security issue that would hamper their tour of Pakistan. The Irish bowlers are quite experienced, but so far they have failed to take wickets. They need a wicket very soon, or Pakistan will destroy them in this match.

So far, it feels like Pakistan women are easily winning this match. The Pakistan women have set a very lofty target of 336 runs for the Ireland women to chase, and meanwhile, right now halfway through the second innings, the Ireland women are not doing very well, to be honest. But Ireland's women have scored 105 runs in 27.1 overs have been played. They have also lost four wickets doing so.

So, there is no way Ireland women are capable of winning this match. The required run rate is already over 10, and I’m sure they will not be able to keep up.

Pakistan women team set a target of 335 runs. Which is a big score for any team that is very hard to beat. Muneeba Ali and Ameen these two batsmen got the opportunity to score centuries simultaneously in this match. It will indeed be a fantastic innings for them. Since 2016, Pakistan PSL League has successfully organized the T20 tournament on following of Indian Premier League. Along with the men, they are now focusing on women's cricket as well. Because the women cricketers of that country have also gained a good reputation. The Pakistan Cricket Board didn't let to realize this. They organized the Premier League for the rapid development of women's cricket. This is definitely a good initiative for the development of women's cricket in Pakistan.

I don’t know if this is the right time for them to introduce WPSL. A lot of political bullshit is being pounded in that country. Imran Khan was shot very recently. And about that issue. There is a lot of tension simmering inside the country. I think they should at least wait till the situation calms down a little.

But other than that, I think this is going to be a very worthwhile idea. Especially since the Pakistan women’s team is doing very well. And if a tournament like this is held, I think it will encourage more people to watch women's cricket.

At the same time, I admire the decision of the Pakistani women's team to continue the tour. This is a remarkable performance that they are being able to show which is going to have a big effect on them convincing the cricket board to arrange WPSL.

For the past few seasons we can see that Pakistan Cricket Board has been organizing the PSLT Twenty20 tournament with great success.  And later they took a decision that they will organize WPSL along with PSL.  I think this is very good news from Pakistan Cricket Board.  If they manage this league successfully, then the expansion of cricket in their country will increase.  Hope Ramiz Raja will make this plan a reality.

They have understood that if they do not try to improve the situation of cricket in Pakistan, no one is going to help them. If anything the others are going to try to stop them from improving. So they have taken matters into their own hands.

The reason why PCB is not very strong financially is due to the fact that they can't sell the media rights exclusively. Even if private broadcasters purchase the rights, they need to share it with the national broadcaster (PTV). I am not sure about this, so someone from Pakistan can confirm. In India also we had a similar system before. It was removed and the revenues for BCCI jumped up by multifold. Now with cable TV available in every nook and corner of the world, it makes little sense to share the content with the national TV.
