We are still in the 1st week of the competition, it's too early to conclude, based on what I noticed in the past, good teams don't actually start well but they always end up well to qualify in the elimination game. SMB, BGSM, TNT, MAGNOLIA, and PHOENIX, I think one of these teams had good potential in winning the championship.

TNT vs Magnolia. .. This is the game that I like to watch and bet, it should be a close game as both teams are good.

Putting my bet on Magnolia again, hopefully, they are the underdog here.

I don't know if there is a last minute update in the schedule but in their website, the match for this day is going to be Alaska Vs. Magnolia.

Either way, if I will bet on this game I will go for the Magnolia but I don't want to underestimate Alaska because they too are strong and it looks like they like their rookie RK Ilagan on how he is playing last time where he got 8 points on 3/3 shooting in a short amount of time.

CJ Perez also has to step up his game, though it's different from his previous team I'm sure he can adjust.

I don't know if there is any recent update with the injury of Chris Ross but it seems like Romeo's injury isn't that serious therefore he might be coming back into the court within the next days to weeks.
With regards to Perez stepping up to his game, that will happen but with the team loaded with superstars it will be hard or it might be the other way around and now that Ross got injured they might put Perez as his substitute and that might be the time for him.

Well, the crowd favorites would always be the two sister teams and that won't change as it's been in the tradition for so many years and it's hard to see that there will be a few fans for those teams. But the guarantee is that there will always be more fans that will always count the two teams or any of them to reach the finals and gets the trophy.

I thought I'm the only one who observed this rigged and fixed games but it seems like there are some who did too.

There are no evidences but as a watcher of PBA games for the past years, you can see the changes especially with the competitiveness of the league. No evidences so we can't say directly that the league is completely rigged and they are doing some game fixings. I agree though that as a bettor, you must maximize this but still its hard to predict which team will win. I can't say that the league is a real shame though because after all, it provides entertainment to us. Its just like the competitiveness of the league is slowly disappearing. I might bet for some games too for some fun while watching .

Both for me is a big issue, games should be fair and not rigged as they will lose fans if they'll consistently do it. When it comes to betting, it's very important to understand the real situation in the PBA, I mean if there is rigging happening, then we should be on the team that we think will win.

So do I, that kind of twist with those unexpected rotations of trade, those so-called 3-way trades that's very annoying,

end outcome always favor big franchise resulting to a much deeper bench.

If you are old enough you can just simply say that it's part of the business, and this league is more on the business side and no longer about heavy competitions but more on money matters, players and teams are more concerns with paychecks and not with the entertainment where fans are aiming and spending their money.

Salute to the teams and players that always have a clean match but I guess it became now an open secret when there are games that are quite confusing and obvious with such results and performances. As for the trades, we're again going to see those powerful trades from teams to teams and players roster shift. There's a big money involve with the usual trades and that's why we see those heavily invested teams are making their roster stronger because they know that they'll get ROI with those players once they trade/buy them.
