Why Putin annexed Crimea? Crimea is historically a Russian speaking region and Ukrainian speakers were less than 15% of the total population. Crimea was a part of Russia until 1954, until Brezhnev without any reason transferred that region to Ukraine. Crimeans were given the guarantee that their language and culture will be protected, but those assurances were not honored by Ukrainian politicians. If Kosovo can break away from Serbia because it had a majority Albanian population, then I believe that Crimea also has right to secede from Russia.

I have a solution for that but I am sure that nobody would care about it. It's too late to retain those land anymore. It now belongs to Russia even the people like to be part of Russia. People in Luhansk and Donetsk were also saying they wanna be part of Russia as more people n the region say they are Russian. They could have negotiated about it before the war broke out in the first place. All it needed was for Ukraine to remain neutral or not to be part of NATO. Zelensky hoped so much that he could win a war and win the hearts of the people in that region.

Let's say they go all in for war. They wouldn't win in any way either. Either surrendering or losing all the lives of Ukrainians, it will still end up in a deal anyway.
One thing they just have to agree on is who is going to broker the peace talk.

There is more probability of the Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdoğan may come up with a deal, which is acceptable for both the sides. But as long as Volodymyr Zelenskyy insists on NATO membership, none of this is going to happen. Because there is zero chance that Putin will agree to any deal that would see Ukraine getting the NATO membership (which would mean NATO nuclear weapons place near the Russian border).

Why Putin annexed Crimea?

Because he wants power.

It's not enough to have consolidated vast power as an Authoritarian (borderline Totalitarian) in his own Country, he has to make sure that other countries answer to him as well - especially the former states of the Soviet Union.  A lot of what he's doing is obviously out of Stalins playbook.

The timing of these charges are nothing but political. Hunter Biden's plea deal collapsed after it was uncovered that his attorneys were demanding immunity from future charges related to his crimes. Only a day after the collapse of this plea deal, Trump is hit with more indictments.

It was Trump's initiative to withdraw from Afghanistan in the Doha agreement.  Trump could also do the same to reach an agreement with Putin after all countries in the middle have no power, and they all know Zelenskyy is a pretend president. Democrat establishment simply doesn't care about corruption and other allegations. If that was the case, then Hillary would have never got nominated in 2016. At this point, Biden has support from the Democrat establishment and if somehow he can't be nominated in 2024 (as a result of poor health or some other reason), then there is a very good chance that Hunter Biden will be the Democrat nominee for 2024. Thats a deal that makes sense for China to ensure occurs, a war affecting both countries would greatly be to China's detriment.  China has no real source of oil within its borders so peace in the middle east generally is something its most interested in.  The deal with Ukraine is not so important to them and they have more to gain standing on the sidelines almost literally as they share a border with Russia and are traditionally aligned with their interests.  Again Russia is a large oil supplier with some pipelines to China, the comparison doesnt really stand up as China is compromised in any independence from the issues Russia might have with others.

Comer might have jumped the gun by claiming that there is evidence of serious crimes but the Washington Post, a very pro-Democrat newspaper, is just as biased by downplaying the situation. There is clearly something sketchy going on. Hunter is a crackhead who likes to party with hookers, yet somehow managed to get paid millions by a Ukrainian gas company for a job he was unqualified for. There's also the laptop situation where there was a lot of effort made to censor reporting on it. The Biden campaign, backed by retired intelligence agents, even tried to claim that it was all Russian propaganda and the media just went along with that narrative. They only started taking it more seriously until after Biden was elected. Joe Biden himself was a sponsor and architect of the 1994 Crime Bill which gave harsher punishment for the offense of crack cocaine possesion, which disproportionately affected black Americans, so how is it that his own son gets to walk freely and make millions off his family name?
