I have only one question. During the Trump regime, number of illegals crossing the Southern border stood at somewhere between 200,000 and 400,000 per year. Most of these were detained and deported. Now the number of illegals crossing stand at 2 to 3 million per year. Once the migrants are detained by the border agents, they are released inside the US (for "processing") rather than deporting them. Do you still believe that Biden doesn't have anything to do with this worsening of the situation? And I am sure that in case Trump wins in 2024, then all this migrant inflow would get reduced to a trickle, as was the case in 2016-20.

For Biden, a larger illegal alien population inside the USA is beneficial in the long run, as they are likely to vote for left-wing parties once they receive citizenship. This is not about Biden or what policies that the Whitehouse presently have on border control. This is the reality of what really is happening in some counties and areas near the border. This information straight from the sheriff and the congressman. According to the sheriff, they are overwhelmed.

Funny you mention those people are mostly military aged men. Because this morning while thinking about the situation in the southern border of USA, I recalled that according to the federal laws there, a person who is an alien and yet engages within the American army, they can eventually apply for citizenship.

Though, I have read that there have been several obstacles put onto place so people who served rightfully, won't get their citizenship so easily as they all should. Very unlikely those men will serve in the army anyways.

I bet that if there were a massive voluntary levy by those migrants and all of them became soldiers for USA, the political speech would chance, even from candidates like Trump and De Santis.

If you did your own research instead of buying into right wing rhetoric, like I've suggested multiple times, you would be much more informed about the border and any other political issues and realize that much of what you believe and claim right now is simply not true - and your one question is a great example.

I'm not sure who told you this, but my best guess is it was someone referring to the numbers published by the US Customs and Border enforcement, since those are really the single source of truth when it comes to border data.

If you were to google the source instead of just taking the word of someone with an obvious political agenda, you'd learn that the numbers for Trump years were not between 200,000 and 400,000 - in reality the 2017 was the lowest year with just over 300,000 and 2019 saw over 800,000.   And for Biden, instead of 2 to 3 million be year it's been closer to 1.5 to 2.5 million.

Further more, you would learn important context on the numbers since every graph from any reputable site displaying this data has an asterisk next the numbers for years 2020 and later.  That's because they changed the way the data is recorded starting in 2020.  Before 2020, only counted apprehensions. 2020 and on counted total encounters meaning each apprehension counted as one, each expulsion counted as one.  And many people were apprehended and expelled multiple times in a year.

So, I have only one question to you.  Will you stop parroting political rhetoric as if it were fact and start doing your own research?  If so I highly recommend you educate yourself on the actual policies Biden has implemented, and attempted to implement on the southern border.  It will be eye opening for you.

They are capable of doing it, but for some reason there is a large of political and ethical friction on the issue, it is something which both Trump and Biden had tried to take advantage of in their respective campaigns.

With all this influx of people, it will be just matter of time before Trump starts to heavily leverage of the Immigration topic again and there will be nothing democrats will be able to do about it. For now, Trump is mostly distracted with his lawsuits and indictments, but as 2024 gets closer, this will turn into a topic Democrats won't have much ammo to counter anymore.

Previously the liberals who support this bull crap were not directly impacted by the border crisis. They used to live peacefully in their gated communities in Hollywood, Manhattan and Boston, while the red states such as Texas and Arizona used to bear the burden of illegal crossings. But then Greg Abbott (Texas governor) changed everything overnight. He started bussing these illegals to the very cities where the the liberals live. And almost immediately, there has been a decline in the number of social media posts in favor of the illegals.

I think Trump has a real possibility to become president again in the next elections.

The people in the US are getting extremely polarized and they don't seem happy with the current situation.

At least around half of the people said they would vote for Trump, so that's something that will make it very close on election day.

13 months to go for the next elections and let's also not forget the fact that the GOP has underperformed in recent polls (especially during the 2022 midterms). RCP aggregate polls show 1% lead for Trump over Biden. Although I would consider this as significant, I would have expected more, considering the backlash that Biden is facing from various sections of the society. It looks to me that the recent demographic changes in the American society has strengthened the Democrats. There are more Asian and Hispanic voters, and less white voters.

That is how I see it, too. But Trump knows that there are many actors in the world who give a damn about what Trump says and whether he wants war or not. It is not like everyone around the globe is listening to him and then making a decision whether to initiate a war or not. That may be the case for some countries, but certainly not for all. It is so easy for him to now claim that there wouldn't be war in the Ukraine if he was the president. But you know, Trump is turning every single piece of the presence upside down and claims it would be better with him. I can't even remember if he ever said he would have done the same because what someone else did was good. Narcissism.

Trump, by no means is a pacifist. But being a businessman, he understands the costs being involved in waging a war and his argument is that the amount should be better spent at home helping the needy families. That is diametrically opposite to the policies from Biden, who has restarted the American military interventions in third world countries ever since he took over the presidency. Till now, the United States have provided $44 billion worth of financial and military aid to Ukraine (ever since the war began). Now compare that to the $82 billion military budget of Russia.

He didn't make war in his term and probably left Afghanistan gradually if it was his term since he was the first to have suggested leaving the country earlier on his watch.  We wouldn't want to see the world on fire if it was he who won.

It's not surprising Trump's poll is rising. Now that the Middle East is about to erupt, I think they are really close to having an all-out war there with Israel all alone vs the rest. Another war backed by Biden and US tax money while citizens are already delinquents. Bidens gotta go.
