"cheap coins" soon  Cool

Fixed.

I was needlessly worried my plan to acquire 0.1% of mainbody emission (18.4k XMR) was going to be expensive.   Cheesy

Only a couple more thousand to go!

Thanks for the rage dump Otoh.  Too bad your insta-pre-dev-mined HYIP scam coin got called out by CMC.

It's possible that he's just stress testing the Monero market before joining us.

To all the people leaving, I have to wonder, why were you here to begin with?

I'm here because I am in need a means of sending value over long distances quickly, cheaply, and privately as well as a means of storing value privately. Maybe i will leave monero when some better alternative exists for accomplishing these same ends but until such an alternative exists i will continue to need monero. Just as a person who has nails sticking up needs a hammer.

So the question: What I just described is what this project represents, and you sold. So did you used to need that value proposition but dont any longer? Or some other project you have discovered has a similar value proposition? Or does monero no longer represent that value proposition to you? Or did you never need it and just wanted to make a quick buck by gambling?

If one can not confer upon another a right which he does not himself first possess, by what means does the state derive the right to engage in behaviors from which the public is prohibited?

That answers your own question. Thats pretty much what all daytraders want. And all they care about.
No one of them are long term investors and nothing of what they do really matters in the end. They are just a drop in the ocean.

See, mrkavasaki aka kenji aka truecryptoretard just replied the same shit he does since days ;-)

Regarding the bolded part, very few alts are actually used in real world scenarios. The aim of 90% of the market is to speculate on alts. Buy low sell high to aquire more fiat/btc. This will continue to be the case until real world uses for these alts are established. You cant be surprised as people move from coin to coin to acheive this goal.

Furthermore how much of a gamble is it to buy when Risto says that the price will start rising ? Compared to some alt plays I've been involved in that was the easiest wave to ride I've ever seen. One thing I've been pondering lately is what would have happened if the announcement had not been made and Risto chose to buy slowly and quietly instead of conjuring up such gusto within the market.

EDIT: I know I'm bearish in general and Ive been this way since 0.0035+ so I feel justified. Note I'm not saying that its crashing and burning just that this wave is subsiding. Another accumalation period will likely happen before another wave takes over. Its just market movements, bulltards and beartards both look stupid when they either say it's mooning or its dying.

I get the feeling Risto has learned something about human behavior: If you tell people exactly what you are going to do and how you are going to do it, there's a portion of the population that will think you are lying or scheming for an advantage. Bono summed it up with, "It's no secret a liar won't believe anyone else." I call it self-inflicted karma.

I like using the idea of 'stress testing' to help explain why Monero, much like gold, needs a solid capitulation event in order to rebound to higher highs.

Thanks for triggering those stop-loss orders Mr. Dumper.  You are doing a fine job of pruning the Monero vine so it grows up strong and healthy.  Cut off the weak hands' branches so the strongest nodes may with time bear fine fruit.   Cool

Being passed my average buying price (0.0022), I really think this is a nice time to buy some moar. The resistance is around here with very low possibility to see the 0.0010 range. But bulls or bears, you know that already; don't you?  Grin

It's funny to experience the moment of someone selling 40k XMR at market price. Smiley

losing my faith in monero Undecided
how low do you guys think we will go?

Same boat man!
Nobody really can tell how low it will go but all the signs are looking ugly now.
I would not like to be Monero owner these days.
A huge disadoption going as coins are being dumped.
I wonder when the Panic-Patricks are entering and starting to dump. That will be even bloodier than the current red candles.

Hello Scammer,

why do you care, you have sold a loooong time ago already?

I hate to say this but sub 0.001 is now a possibility.

0.000 is a possibility. so what. no risk no reward.

I have sold over 95 % of my coins and I have no intention to rebuy them unless I do not get them cheap enough.
If Monero ever moons big time, I am making nice money even with less than 5 % of my initial investment.
Funny thing I do not even have any temptation to buy coins at these prices.
And I sold them long time ago, not today or yesterday.

So TL;DR

Kenji -sold his coins - he says
TrueCryptionaire - sold his coins - he says
mrkavaski - sold his coins - he says

All of them tell us the same shit, at the same time, all of them are nuts. How big is the chance they aren´t affiliated?

I don't say that you are a scammer but it looks suspicious that you call people scammers who want to help others not to lose money.

Bears like me gives market to the dumpers who come later to dump their coins.
Now I am waiting for a few persons giving up with their Moneros and then I re-enter and slowly become more bullish.  Grin

I need some serious pain and to make the trolls quiet.. Still looks like the trolls are jumping on the tables and trolling me.  Undecided

well ive got to hand it to you. you were right. there is little resistance between here and oblivion. that 0.002 wall was all that stood between the invaders and the inner keep. 0.002 was our last stand. anyway im not selling at these prices. it can go to 0 if it likes. ill just go to hell with it.

Not looking good for Monero atm. I would not be surprised if it hits low .001s sometime in the next few months. Development seems to be moving along at a snail's pace and inflation won't get to reasonable levels until early-mid 2018. Not expecting any significant profit (1 XMR=$10+) until 2017 at the earliest. I won't buy more until the price drops below 25 cents, or the Dash/XMR exchange rate gets to around 20.

perhaps now people will give value to XMR, since another scam (BCN) is over it in marketcap.

I asumme you belong to a group of probably less than 200 person on this planet who really see the use case and (private store of value) the potential of monero - aminorex assumed it could be a group of 1000 people - I guess it is much smaller.

the rest is pump and dump daytraders etc. pp.

we will see if the group can grow over the next months and years. the intrinsic value of xmr is out of question.

When price will come to 0.001 , you will buy or you will sell the rest that you will have left from selling all few days ago?

I see old group of Monero FUDers returned to Forum. Even kuriso is here, who was fully sure Monero will be worth 1 cent till last Christmas Smiley

Still, for anything to be a store of value, price needs to stabilize and XMR, along with all crypto, has yet to really show stability in terms of volatility. Now, you could say PMs are still pretty volatile and yes, they are, but not to the degree of crypto.
