1221  Economy / Speculation / Re: Less than 300 days left to halving - price predictions for The Day? on: July 04, 2023, 06:25:00 PM
A lot of people know that it will be a great period and the price will be high. So, why is it not high right now? Well, it is already 2x what the bottom was, and you think that has nothing to do with the halving? I think that is mainly the halving for sure, secondly we are not "that" close, it's still in 2024 that means next year, sure we are getting closer and less than a year left but we are not in November or December neither, so a lot of things could happen in the middle.

I believe it is already time to buy, we are even a little late to buy if we haven't bought any. I bought some and keep buying until the halving (and probably after that too) and I would suggest everyone to keep doing the same thing because it will surely go up.
1222  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do 90% of Bettors Lose in Sports Betting in the Long-term? on: July 04, 2023, 06:00:02 PM
The fact that people think they can "somehow" win against the house edge and can mathematically do this always makes me laugh. You need to realize that it's mathematically impossible to keep winning because the odds are against your own good and even at the best mathematical chance to win, you are ignoring the mathematical chance of losing on the long run anyway.

Just take the flip of a coin for example, you said it's 50%, that's true, and you can act accordingly and win, but you are forgetting that it is also quite possible that you would be able to see 10-20-30 losses in a row there as well. This is why I always say that do this type of gambling for fun and have entertainment, otherwise it's not going to work for you and you will be upset.
1223  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for July on: July 04, 2023, 05:42:03 PM
If Gary actually does end up quitting then we are going to have a huge pump in bitcoin without a doubt, it is not going to be even remotely close to what it is and we are going to see something that will change a ton. I know that people are not super excited about the situation and all, but that doesn't mean that we are going to be happy about it neither, we could just end up with a loss on a ton of people who sold and got out.

We do not know if he will though, maybe he will and maybe he won't so it is not a sure thing. If not, then we are going to have a decent month, not a huge high, not a huge low, it is going to be about where it is, maybe just a little high or low but that's about it. I really expect him to quit, that would be lovely.
1224  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: July 04, 2023, 04:52:41 AM
Onana does look like he would worth about 40 max 50 million to be fair, I do not think that the offer is too bad. What are they expecting for Onana? 100 million? Lol, that's the amount of money you could expect for a decent goalkeeper these days and not a lot more and even all over online, the worth for him is about 35 to 40 million range so the offer is not bad at all.

I understand Inter doesn't need to sell, they can just keep him, and when you are not willing to sell then it becomes a lot harder to buy that player for anyone else. However, it looks obvious that we are going to end up with a situation where they are going to provide some more money. I would say offer 50 million straight up, and do not offer a dime more, he won't worth more than that at all.
1225  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: July 02, 2023, 06:34:02 PM
This topic started in January 4th of 2023, so at the start of this year basically and we are in July now. We have 6 months done, and we are above 120 pages already, which means that there has been 20 pages per month, nearly at a level of 0.75 pages per day give or take.

That should be showing you how much this league got popular and when you are wondering why they are overpaying players more than what they are worth, it is 100% definitely not about how good those players are. They do not care about that, they all get someone, that's not the point. The point is that we wrote almost 1 page per day for this league, over half a page at the very least. This is why they spent that money, to be talked about, to be known, and to be followed. They achieved it.
1226  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 02, 2023, 06:11:03 PM
Miami would be a great place for Dame, they already have Butler and Adebayo, and a lot of shooters with duncan and herro as well. That means we are going to end up with a squad that will be very good for the current era of basketball. They have one big that is very talented both on defense and on rebounding and could scoop up points inside when needed, that is very good, not star on offense and scoring for sure but at least like get the offensive rebound or something or do pick and roll decently and also most importantly lock inside down on defense.

Dame and Butler could take over depending on which one is hot, and they could always pass it outside to some of the three pointers which would help them on the long run without a doubt, like when defense collapses on the same person all the time, they can pass it out.
1227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: July 02, 2023, 09:09:53 AM
Odegard definitely looks like the type of player PSG needed for a long time. They have been lacking that position and their midfield is lackluster. I understand Veratti and Vitinha may look "expensive" players but the reality is that they are only expensive because they are at PSG, remove them from PSG and put them on a mid table team and they do not worth the way they are without PSG affect.

So long story short they needed someone better for sure and Odegard could play at midfield. What they actually need is a player like Kevin De Bruyne, both world class level and probably best at his position, but also definitely fits amazingly well with Mbappe as well, that duo could make each other better, just like he did that with Haaland this season.
1228  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Service or Bot for effective and timely DCA execution? on: July 01, 2023, 05:08:23 AM
I do not know how a bot could take money from your bank account to your crypto and buy? If you already have it in stable or something, then yeah surely you can do it, that wouldn't be that hard, hell put an alarm on your phone and buy it when you can, if you are unable at that moment, postpone it a day and try again and you will do it, it is that simple.

But, if the money is on your bank account like mine, then you need to just do it yourself and there is no bot that could help you, because no bot could take the money out of your bank account. I personally invest per month, no matter what the price is, and I have grown accustomed to it, that means I just do it automatically like a bot, and it doesn't really take longer than 10 minutes of my time once a month.
1229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to borrow ETH to buy BTC? on: July 01, 2023, 04:39:23 AM
Honestly I could not figure out the core reason. Everyone tried to help because they wanted to answer the question, but nobody asked why would anyone want to do that? I understand that you may think that ETH could value a lot higher in the future, but how could bitcoin and ETH, the two coins at the very top have so much difference?

There will be miniscule differences between them that doesn't really need anything like this at all. I hope that people end up realizing that ETH is not far superior than bitcoin, that will never happen. I think it is smarter to just sell your eth, get btc, do whatever you have to do and if you want to go back then sell your btc and get eth as well when you get back, you will still have similar amount of ETH aside from trading fee.
1230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: June 30, 2023, 06:38:16 PM
Kane doesn't have to go to Bayern for Bayern to be good, but they need some changes without a doubt. Mane could leave too, those two things are not the string that holds this team together. They can still not get Kane and send Mane away and win the title. All they have to do is find replacements and I feel like they are not really looking for that at the moment. They should be doing it as much as possible and it would end up with a good result eventually.

I personally believe that the best thing to do at this moment for them would be getting a pure striker, doesn't have to be Kane but it has to be at least a good striker, a Bayern level striker, if they can get that then the rest of the squad will do amazingly well eventually.
1231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: June 30, 2023, 06:02:30 PM
Seems like Ziyech has a knee problem but I am not sure what it is. If it is a big big deal that he can't play and needs like some surgery or something that will sideline him for a long period then this was a smart decision, if it was a constant thing where he can play but it's bothering him all the time type of injury then it makes sense as well.

Only possible scenario where it doesn't make sense would be a small thing where he will be back to playing with 100% in a few months before the season starts, then they should have gotten him. I kept saying that Ziyech was not the type of player they should be getting even at the early days, sad to learn he is injured, but glad that they didn't spend this much money on him at least.
1232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Let's find out which gambling game is the most played among our community... on: June 30, 2023, 05:41:11 PM
I can't believe that dice is still so much liked. Dice wasn't really a great game to play before crypto was a thing, I do not think that it even existed the way it did in the crypto world to be fair. However, that didn't really change much and dice became huge when crypto was created and it became the first game.

However, since we have become a bit more bigger with the crypto gambling world, dice may have been the very last game to have the provably fair that we cared so much about, and it no longer feels like it is the biggest thing anymore and that's why I believe that we shouldn't be really gambling on that as much as we are, not be ranked this high at least. It's fun to see it there though, it makes me remember the good old days.
1233  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin breaking out of 2 month downtrend on: June 30, 2023, 05:25:51 PM
When enough people believes that bitcoin will go up in the future or will continue to go up that means they are going to buy, not all of them will buy which is why I said "enough" people, we can't have just a few, but if everyone trusts that then we are going to see it move.

I believe that we are at a stage where it is doing alright and then stopped but it could continue to go up a long time as well. It is obvious that we are not going to see it anytime soon, it will not be right away this week or something but it will definitely continue to go up. The trick here is that we shouldn't be really expecting the price to be an insane price level, it will be a good one but it is not going to be like 100k sometime soon, I am just expecting getting closer to 35k that's it.
1234  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Direct Sending of Coins to another Coin Wallet. on: June 30, 2023, 04:58:32 PM
I have been in the crypto world for over 10 years and I still worry about this when I do it. This is why I still send like 10 bucks first to see if they actually receive it, and if  they do then I send it, aside from that I do not do it and I do not send huge amounts neither, I always put them in smaller instalments and send one by one instead.

Once in my life I had to send someone's 100k somewhere, that was the biggest money I ever had and if I stole that money I would have lived all my life with it in my nation, I didn't of course because I am not a thief, and I sent it 1k per 1k for 100 times instead of doing 100k all day long, took me 3 hours and nearly 500 dollars in fees just to do that, but I wanted to make sure and didn't want to be blamed.
1235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: June 30, 2023, 04:29:23 PM
I would put England over others aside from France, I would say it's France first, England second, Croatia third and so forth, rest could be similar because I believe one of those three will win it and rest do not have much chance. Obviously this is a tournament and anything could happen and we shouldn't really talk big about this.

If we see any team outside of that three nations win it, that would be a shock to me in the sense that I wouldn't be expecting it, but also in general any team could win any tournament with a lucky shot or a save. France however has provided a million times what good of a team they have been and I think that's quite important to remember that we are going to probably end up seeing something similar in that mindset for sure.
1236  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Mining Firm Riot Secures 33,000 New Rigs for $162 Million on: June 30, 2023, 04:36:30 AM
Not a good decision at all. I know it sounds like a lot of money but this is not a good decision at all. Why? Because even with that much power, they are not going to get a lot of marketshare, there are people who build their own ASIC miners and use them, so the power they have will always be higher.

And even if they make a "profit" quickly on the early days, this isn't something we can use for decades, it is an investment that will make a profit until it is old hardware and needs a better and new upgraded version. I kept saying that mining is a bad business because it is short term and you barely make the money back and then some, when you could use the same money and do a better business that can grow instead of get old with time.
1237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH vs BTC future growth potential on: June 30, 2023, 03:25:05 AM
Both are pretty close to each other and there is no reason to compare the two together. I hope that people will realize that they are pretty good and they will keep on investing into these things together. I wouldn't say one is better and the other is bad, I think even if one is better than the other in both cases they are very good.

It doesn't matter if you invest into just one of them or neither of them because they are doing pretty well in the end. I like the fact that it is going to be pretty special in the end when we see bitcoin and ethereum going high together. That's when the big bull run starts, like 2017 and 2021 for example, and you see these reaching to a point where no other coin could ever reach anytime soon, they are going like 2 bull runs ahead of everyone close.
1238  Economy / Economics / Re: After Making Money In Bitcoin, How is Black Tax Affecting You Economically? on: June 30, 2023, 03:06:15 AM
There is a limit to sharing with family though. Sharing with your wife, kids, father and mother would be the ideal thing because those are the most important people in your life and they worth more than any money that could ever mean, I could have zero dollars and have insane amount of debt and would still take out a loan for them, they are everything I have.

However, when it gets out of that circle, family also means "relatives" like cousins, uncle, aunt, etc etc all those people that are in your "family". I have seen way too many times where brothers and sisters are in a fight over who gets what as well, my father had to pay debts of both of my uncles before and took care of the sick kid of another, three unless, all got paid by my father one way or another, we never got a single cent back.
1239  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 29, 2023, 06:45:41 PM
Kim min jae was wanted by United a lot, and I mean like really A LOT and they failed to get him, which is a big reason why all the fans want Glazer family out in the end. Because they fail to get the player they want, let alone the player they may need. He would have been perfect for their defense, and this dude will worth 100 million when he peaks at a big club as well, Bayern will make sure of that.

They are going to be pretty upset, if the takeover happened early, that would have resulted with Kim maybe getting a lot more money offered by United and would have been easier to get him. I am not saying they would have offered 20 million a year, but at least 12-15 range would have been possible, and that is a normal price for a future star of Uniteds defense if you ask me.
1240  Economy / Speculation / Re: Everything is on FIRE today! on: June 29, 2023, 06:36:33 PM
I can't say exactly what the main reason for going up or not going up, but I can say that we are not buying as much as we bought during the increase. This means that people had a reason to buy bitcoin all the way from 25k to over 30k, all that increase which is a lot meant something and I understand that, but those same people who took it from 25k to 30k do not have any reason to keep going.

It is not going to change much anytime soon but I think it's quite obvious that those people not buying made the price stay as it is right now and that's the problem. As long as it stays like this, there isn't really any reason to keep it going anytime like this for long. Just realize that this is the main reason we are not going, people are not buying like they did.
