1801  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: January 04, 2024, 01:53:58 PM
AC Milan, Liverpool, and Leverkusen are the favorite teams to win Europa League title. They have quality players on their squad, they also have good experience in international matches. So, no doubt that they are superior against other teams in Europa League. However, we can't underestimate other teams, smaller teams are impossible to eliminate bigger teams. AC Milan and Liverpool performance look not really stable in international matches, they also look not in their best form in domestic leagues. I only see that Leverkusen is the most stable team in the term of performance. So, Leverkusen should be the most favorite team to win the title.

In fact, bookmakers do not consider Milan one of the main favorites, look:

Liverpool 3.09

Bayer Leverkusen 5.88

Milan 10.29

Brighton 12.74

West Ham 14.70

Roma 16.66

As you can see, there are two main favorites: Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen, and a second group of contenders, which includes Milan. It is noteworthy that the second group consists of two Italian teams and two English ones. Overall, at least for now, the season is going well for Italian clubs again. Quite surprising considering that Serie A lags far behind other top leagues in terms of finances.

Why think about what people say about us, is it somehow capable of influencing our well-being, or any other aspects of our lives?
There are things that will never change, people will always talk about other people, but they forget about it as soon as they stop talking about it.~

As they say: at the age of 20 I was worried about what they thought of me, at the age of 40 I didn’t care what they thought of me, at the age of 60 I realized that no one ever thought about me  Grin
In general, this works, but I would say that you should listen to the opinions of relatives - if there are healthy relationships in the family, then most likely they wish you well, even if they are wrong in their opinion.
1803  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 04, 2024, 01:37:31 PM
Yes, despite the fact that last year Cremonese played in Serie A, and now plays in Serie B, even in the cup you always expect a more confident victory from a club that is good in the main division. At the very end of the game, Roma responded with two goals and it is unlikely that we will see a change in the score until the end of the game - Roma are interested in avoiding extra time and will not rush forward to score a third goal.

I somehow saw it coming and I also thought that Lukaku might be the one who scores the first goal. I was pretty sure that if they were able to score the first one with some time left, they would still win the game and that is what they did. That's actually when I like to watch Roma games because if there is something to fight for (and not something to defend because they had to win), then Roma can play great stuff. That's why normally I prefer games when Roma concedes the first goal. If it is the other way around, the games usually become boring like hell.

100%!  Grin That's Mourinho - a 1-0 score is enough to win.
By the way, with the score 1-1, the bookmakers assessed the probability of Roma's victory as 1.2 - quite high, taking into account the fact that the score was slippery and there was little time left until the end of the game, and if Cremonese had scored, it is unlikely that Roma would have had time to win back.
Now in the 1/4 we are waiting for the Roman derby Lazio - Roma. I don’t expect anything interesting from these games, most likely it will be something like 1-0, 0-1 in a stubborn, sticky fight.
1804  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Shared games helped you before? on: January 04, 2024, 01:27:00 PM
There is a place for luck in life, but you are unlikely to attract it by listening to the words of a muddy friend.

There is one thing I don't get disturbed over my life because I know certainly we all have a place to prosper even though I didn't make it through his games or gambling that doesn't mean my luck won't shine in other areas of life, and of curse we shouldn't be thrilled by a word without confirmation and such is very tempting possibly could make someone have a mental problems or mental disorderliness while reflecting back to his trial just a little break I was called that someone else won huge amount. This looks very silly and lies more of unrealistic.

I agree with both points. Luck is good, but as long as a person has the strength (in fact, this is most of life) he does not need luck to feel good - he just needs to work and it will be rewarded. As for trusting the words of others, this is generally a bad thing. Firstly, a significant percentage of the population is mentally ill/simply stupid. This alone is enough to not trust anyone, but there is a second point: there are a lot of scammers. They deliberately distort information to deceive you. In such conditions, you can’t take anyone’s word for it.
1805  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: January 04, 2024, 01:13:49 PM
At the moment, Mbappe is guaranteed two games in the Champions League (in the 1/8 finals), if he changes clubs during the winter transfer window, he will lose the right to play in this season of the Champions League. I'm 99% sure that he won't do this.
I will leave one percent to the fact that somehow miraculously he will end up in Liverpool (and will play in the Europa League, which is better than nothing) since in recent days rumors that Liverpool have entered the fight for Mbappe have intensified again.

But let's assume that Mbappe would leave PSG during the winter transfer window, who would benefit from that? I am not perfectly familiar with the regulations rolled out by the UEFA for players who change clubs in winter and played the Champions League already, but would he be allowed to play in the Europa League?

Anyway, if he changed the clubs, who would be the winners? Liverpool most likely no as they would have to pay a transfer fee while they could get him without paying that fee in summer. Mbappe is not the winner because he would not play the CL anymore, he would (I think) not be allowed to play the Europa League and his signing bonus would decrease significantly. Now he can charge a huge signing bonus in summer because his contract expires. So in summary, Mbappe would lose. PSG would get some transfer fee although it will be far below of what they asked for last summer. But they would lose their biggest hope for the CL games. I don't see a winner when this transaction became real in winter and is not just a rumor.

As far as I remember, the meaning of the restrictions when changing clubs is so that a player who started a tournament in one club cannot play for another team during this tournament (probably to avoid the paradox when a player plays for team A in the group stage, but against team A in the playoffs). Mbappe has not played in the Europa League this season so there are no restrictions on him. By the way, it’s funny, but a paradox could theoretically arise. For example, if a player plays in the Champions League and his team is relegated to the Europa League, and the player himself changes clubs, then in the Europa League playoffs he can play against his former club.
Yes, I also think that these are nothing more than rumors and such a transfer will not take place in the winter.

Is Atlético really not capable of a comeback in at least 5 such games? It seems to me that it is capable, in the worst case there will be a draw.

it is 3:3 now, and looks as Atletico can win this one
although I would prefer to have it as 3:3 for the pool (when it can't be boring 1:1 for exact score), and I wouldn't bet on Atletico at this point

Girona played all good so far, but I expect them to fade at some point, maybe that will not be today, but it would be great coicidence, since Girona had great 2023, and this is 2024

Wow, what a game. After 3-3, I thought that I was right, but still Girona snatched the victory. But by the way, this does not negate the fact that a bet on Atlético to win with odds of 6 looks like value.
Judging by the statistics, a draw would be a fair outcome, but... maybe this is champion luck?  Roll Eyes
My condolences to Morata who scored a hat-trick but there is no way to rejoice because of the final result.
1808  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: January 03, 2024, 10:02:08 PM
I already said what type of player I was talking about. A big transfer like Mbappe could change the direction of the Champions League for the team transferred him. We can't be 100% sure about this transfer not to happen in January at the same time. I just feel like it would happen this summer probably rather than January.

But it is really difficult to be sure of something in the transfer market. It is all about money and what that player feels about this transfer to happen immediately.  Smiley

Since Mbappe is available for a contract offer we never know.

Okay, I started developing interest by staking some of his games he do shared about 4 to 8 consecutive time I keep trying his games but didn't work out, like no winning has been made and he kept saying I should try last more. It was then I got weird over his failing games and stopped after that day he called me and said someone won about NGN 60,000,000 which about $50,000 with a bet of $2. Some times I began to wonder whether is my fault for not keep following him or what maybe who know what could have happened if that kept having patient to play his predicted games.

Just say let me bring this here to see how many of you have been in such situation where you have been trying for long and the day you decided not to try luck the winning will come just like a magic. Have you experience that before?

Do I understand correctly that when you tried to place bets on his advice, nothing worked (a fact that you yourself established), and from his words someone allegedly won a lot (it is impossible to verify the truth of his words)?
It seems to me that in this situation everything is clear and I don’t understand what can be discussed here. Your friend is either a gambling addict, a pathological liar, or is deliberately trying to deceive you (hoping that you will accidentally win big and share the winnings with him).
Just stop paying attention to his words and don’t think too much about the fact that someone won something. There is a place for luck in life, but you are unlikely to attract it by listening to the words of a muddy friend.

In the ongoing match between Roma vs Cremonese, the match has entered the 59th minute and it seems that Roma are really having trouble in this match. I don't understand why Roma has been so easy for their opponents to break through their goal this season. The match has entered the 62nd minute where Cremonese is able to lead 0-1 in this match.

Yes, despite the fact that last year Cremonese played in Serie A, and now plays in Serie B, even in the cup you always expect a more confident victory from a club that is good in the main division. I may be bad at this pool but at least I am making money on Girona every week. Can't believe bookies did not start to drop the odds on them.

Both to score was 1.65 which was free money. Had it on all tickets. Then I also took both to score and over 2.5 goals which was over 1.9. and of course both passed in first 30 minutes.

Granted Koke gave away second goal to Girona way to easy.

Grin But on the contrary (though this does not apply to cash bets), I lose. I keep waiting for Girona's results to return to "normality" but they continue their phenomenal run.
Meanwhile, after the first half, the score is 3-2 in favor of Girona and it seems to me that it’s time to bet on Atlético:

1.60 - 3.72 - 6.08

It seems to me that they have already shown that they are serious and the most unfortunate development of events does not put pressure on them. Is Atlético really not capable of a comeback in at least 5 such games? It seems to me that it is capable, in the worst case there will be a draw.
1812  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: January 03, 2024, 09:30:31 PM
I think Everton are safe and the bookmakers' odds confirm this. In fact, they have the same number of points (including the penalty) as their main competitors, but they show a much better performance than them (without the penalty they would be far ahead) so I rather expect Everton to rise and improve their position in the standings than the other way around.
Plus, I still really want Everton to remain in the Premier League, since this whole story with the fine (while clubs like City and Chelsea remain invulnerable) looks unpleasant.

Everton is pretty decent generally speaking and they wouldnt be in this kind of situation if it wasnt for the 10 minus points but there are a whole lot of games remaining and honestly Luton is a pretty decent team as well. I honestly would want Luton to stick around for 1 more season so Im rooting for them, I'll be glad if NFO ended up taking that 3rd spot on relegation zone

*no Im not salty because they beat Manchester United Lips sealed

To be honest, I don't think I've seen a single Luton game this season, but when I look at the statistics I see that Everton and Luton are at different levels. Everton have 8 wins, Luton have 4. Everton have a goal difference of -4 and Luton -14.
If Luton are that good then expect them to beat Nottingham Forest. In principle, any team up to and including 14th place can be relegated, but I think that these will be exactly the teams that the bookmakers indicated.
1813  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you care about what people say about you gambling? on: January 03, 2024, 01:45:31 PM
Public critisism is okay, but I don't care if some people has a say about what I am doing, there is nothing they can do and I am not aggrieved by them. I don't even ask them for any amount for gambling, so I don't care what they will say or think. People will quickly judge and insulted you just because they knew that you're into gambling, that's how low they look at people who participated in any gambling activity.

I think the OP meant, first of all, the opinion of close people, and here this position “I don’t care about everyone, I myself know how to act” does not work. If you live in a family, then even some personal things concern not only you, and even more so potentially dangerous things like gambling.
If we are talking about strangers, then I again disagree with you - public criticism in this case is unacceptable because it is aggression. It would never occur to me to criticize any stranger and teach him about life (how to work, how to eat, how to play, etc.) because I know that this could end in a fight  Grin I expect the same attitude towards myself - if someone intrusively shares their opinion for which I did not ask, he will get hit on the head.

Quite strange play-offs this year, don’t you think, colleagues?  Roll Eyes
Last year we had a super match Barcelona - United + such teams as Bayer, Juventus, Ajax, PSV, Roma in other pairs. This year there is not a single top pair, and the most recognizable brands are Milan and Roma. It's more like the Conference League now. Potentially in the 1/8 we will already be able to see interesting confrontations, for example Liverpool - Milan or Bayer - Roma, but there is nothing even close to last year.
Where did it all go? There are also many dull couples in the Champions League  Grin

I'm just wondering how crypto casinos are able to cope with this high Tx fees.. cus definitely, they'll have a decreased transaction rate.. anyways, I understand the fact that they've got so many ways to cover up whatsoever.. maybe digital sales? Etc.. that'd also equat atleast 11/3 of the usual influx.

do people still gamble with these high tx fees? Is the current congestion in the mempool a motivation to some set of gamblers? that they might likely get fortunate since alot of gamblers won't wanna evade the high fees??

Sandra 🧑‍🦰

I’m not at all sure that Bitcoin makes up a significant part of the turnover of crypto casinos. People choose faster and cheaper options even with “regular” commissions, but in the current environment, using Bitcoin is crazy (unless of course you are a high roller and the commission is a tiny fraction of your stake). It’s high time to come to terms with the fact that Bitcoin no longer satisfies the goals (part of them) for which it was created, “fast and cheap payments on the Internet”.
1816  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gaming promotions to earn actual money on: January 03, 2024, 01:16:39 PM
Have you ever noticed a promotion that was meant to exist for testing a service, but if utilized smartly could lead to real winnings? I have a recent example of this.

Very recently the local lottery monopoly in my country wanted to promote their app and gave 10€ to buy lottery tickets to anyone that would use the app.
The only requirement to cash out according to the promotion would be to buy some tickets, and any potential winnings would be yours to keep.
As you know, lotteries have very low winning odds, so probably they expected no one to win anything out of the promo balances they handed out. But seems like they forgot something...
Their mistake was that aside of just allowing this promo money to be used at lotteries, they also allowed it to be used on keno.

The gambling store version of keno has a high house edge of ~30%, but still with low risk keno tickets those playing smart would have a 60% chance of getting back all the promo money as a withdrawable balance or even winning more. Upon noticing this I told my friends and family to also create accounts and many of them got more out even than the promo balance.
Most of my family have never gambled but free money is too good to skip in any case. So we're now all waiting for the next promo, if there will ever be any.  Cheesy

Have you had any such experience where you managed to play in a smart way to actually be able to cash out money intended for promotion?

If I understood the scheme correctly, then the income for one registration was approximately 6 euros? If so, that's a good bonus. And if there was no hard KYC, then I think you could earn a lot more than 6 euros - there are many Android emulators for PC and you could do as many registrations as you like to get these 6 euros many times. Yes, I am sure that this would be a violation of the ToS, but nevertheless such a possibility existed. If it’s not a secret, how did they check the reality of registration?

I probably missed this discussion, but did everyone notice how Everton, after depriving them of 10 points, began to win? This team has the will and I am sure that they will remain in the Premier League at the end of the season.

yeah, noticed of course
as a fan, I am not so sure that we will survive, too many obviously want us relegated

Everton is topping the chart with most penalties decided against us, and is bottom the chart with no penalty still this season for us
could be a coincidence, but with point deduction, it is hard to survive on these stats

and Luton started playing better, would like to see them survive on expense of Forest, not us, but will be a thorough fight till the end

Relegation

Sheffield United 1.02

Burnley 1.20

Luton Town 1.26

Nottingham Forest 4.41

Everton 5.88

And indeed, currently, especially in the last few matches, AC Milan as a whole has experienced an increase in performance and I hope that AC MIlan can continue to maintain this, especially in the continuation of the Serie A matches so that they can further narrow the gap in points to compete in the race for the Scudetto this season.

Milan's chances of winning the title are estimated by bookmakers as 1 in 25.5. In fact, the title race is already over for them and, taking into account the failure of Napoli and the general weakness of the other competitors, they will get a place in the top 4 without much stress. Quite a sad ending to the season already in the middle of it  Grin
They were very lucky that they were able to beat Newcastle and get into the Europa League - there is one tournament left where they can play seriously to win and get at least some title this season. It seems to me that now it makes more sense to concentrate all their efforts on this particular tournament, and Serie A will be relevant starting next season.
1819  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: January 03, 2024, 12:41:08 PM
Real Madrid will face Mallorca in La Liga. Mallorca does not play good away football, but they are undefeated in the last five matches. A team that can cause difficulties for Real Madrid. When I talk about Real Madrid-Mallorca matches, I never forget a match played years ago. At that time Samuel Etoo was very young and went on loan to Mallorca. In my coupon, the last match is Real Madrid, Mallorca match and Real Madrid must win. The match ended 0-5 and my coupon was deposited. In a sense, Etoo took revenge on Real Madrid.
The thing that interests me the most in this match is Arda Güler. Will Arda, who has been struggling with injury for a long time, play in the evening? I hope he gets some time and completes the match without any injuries. Arda Güler is a football player who will make a name for himself in the future.

The current odds for the game are:

1.21 - 6.08 - 13.23

Mallorca are really doing well - in the last 6 games they have 3 wins and three draws, but this does not work against Real Madrid. Real Madrid have 80% of the points in their last 10 games and will definitely win the home game. I think in this game it makes sense to bet on Real Madrid winning with a handicap of -1 or the Total Over.
