2201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does bounty still kind of worth on 2020? on: September 01, 2020, 03:03:54 PM
Bounty has been getting less lucrative over the years and as we have it now, it's not a good source of earnings in the cryptocurrency space, I'll prefer to spend time learning how to trade, it would payoff better, though some projects are more lucrative than others. At the end of the day, it takes grace to discern the right project to participate Inorder to earn better reward.

Then why the hell you wear signature and skip learning? As far as I see, bounties now have lower pull, but if bounty project gets listed, its price goes up. This is something different from 2019, when all that got listed gets dumped hard.

Participating in bounty is still worthy, but you either work more, or dont put much effort in it and get some money for a couple of beers.

It is a mystery to me why many people always love to learn how to trade cryptos. In principle there is only the possibility for non-professionals to hodle for a longer time. In the short term market with its extreme ups and downs one is lost as a layman because one simply does not have the possibilities to keep up with the bots and profressional trader which move the markets. That's why bounties are the safer option and the time for learning should be spent on other topics and technologies but not trading cryptos.

Danke -doubleU-!

2203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Qortal Genesis - Future Internet Starts here - BTC active on cross-chain portal! on: August 30, 2020, 10:09:59 AM
For years, I've been a loyal QORA holder and now saw the switch towards Qortal. How can I swap my QORA to Qortal? Thanks.

There was a period to swap Qora on the new blockchain. Unfortunately this period is over, so you have no possibility to bring your Qora to Qortal.
Here is the old thread with all necessary information. Qora still exists as a network, so you can still spend your Qora.
2204  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1BitProfit casino for SALE! on: August 30, 2020, 09:59:06 AM
Hi!

I'm "Igos" - the founder and owner of the Bitcoin casino "1Bitprofit.com".

The casino was founded in 2016. And it still works.
During this time, a large base of players around the world was collected. We were the first to start work in the Russian segment and CIS countries. Now we work all over the world: from Russia to the USA and Australia.
Net profit >90 btc

The project is built on a licensed script. And included in the list of trusted sites: https://www.bustabit.com/license

I put it up for sale. A small bargain is possible  Wink.

Contact in PM or info@1bitprofit.com

Wrong section, you should let this thread move to Auctions. Also you should provide more information to attract more investors. The site itself says less about what it is. The price is also unclear and the net profit > 90 btc does not tell in what timeframe the profit was made? Since inception, last year, last month?
2205  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's Case As A Hedge Asset Continues To Grow on: August 30, 2020, 09:55:13 AM
This also includes art of any kind. Prices at auctions have risen sharply again despite Corona, although they had already risen sharply before. Money printing frightens especially the rich and wealthy and they try to protect their money from devaluation. The smart ones invest in Bitcoin (and to a certain degree in gold), the less smart ones meanwhile invest in immovable assets like wiskey or works of art.
2206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is the Future for uniswap Exchange? on: August 30, 2020, 09:43:37 AM
As I recently already wrote in another thread: Uniswap v2 is a great and easy to use service. I use it whenever there is no appropriate alternative for mostly young low volume coins. However, it is much dependent on the Ethereum blockchain. If the network is totally overcrowded with transactions as has often been the case in recent times you pay a lot of fees for the Ethereum smart contract Uniswap uses. Up to $15 in Eth. This is the downside of decentralized exchanges if they rely on platforms like Eth.
2207  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: August 30, 2020, 09:35:40 AM
And I don't mind seeing Bayern playing vs Barcelona soon to see if Barca gonna take more goals and score less without Messi (eventually) or not Tongue

I think the last season was an exception. Messi is no longer the outstanding player he once was. He still has great moments but he is no longer the great playmaker. The team is built for him. I think that is the problem. There were also problems last year. With a new start without Messi and with the new coach, Barcelona will stabilize and in two three years they will play for the CL win again. Until then I don't think they have a chance.
2208  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Proud partner of Southampton FC 🚀 on: August 29, 2020, 10:48:01 AM
Sportsbet.uk is linked to a domain registrar called 'Safenames'

Southampton will use Sportsbet.io. Check out Steve's announcement here to see the tshirt

Thanks! I'm not sure what you mean by that. What does the domain registrar have to do with it? I was talking about the license. Both domains (io and uk) belong to the Sportsbet.io group (Coingaming). But only the domain uk is officially registered as a casino in the UK and has a license. That is why I asked.
2209  Local / Altcoins (Deutsch) / Re: [Diskussion] [OCEAN] Ocean Protocol - Blockchain der Datenökonomie on: August 29, 2020, 10:34:41 AM

Macht. Zukunft. Wie die Vernetzung die Mobilität revolutioniert"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GNJ2IvDJOD4
OCEAN kommt ab Stelle 26:04
https://youtu.be/GNJ2IvDJOD4?t=1563

2210  Local / Altcoins (Deutsch) / Re: Deutsche NEM Community on: August 29, 2020, 10:27:24 AM
2211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does bounty still kind of worth on 2020? on: August 28, 2020, 10:11:52 AM
Yeah, bounty is still very valuable in 2020, but very few in number. every year there are so many new bounties circulating on the forums, so we have to do some research and work hard to get a good bounty.
I have participated in several bounties in 2020 and the results are not disappointing. Even though the payment I received was not very much, the results were in accordance with the work I did.

It has drastically drop from what it was in 2017 and only very limited projects say would be beneficial in coming time. So, if you are part of those projects than only it is worth it else it is nothing more than wasting the time for promoting the projects which will add no value to yourself and to the world in future. So, identifying is the key for such best projects.

Agree. 2016, 2017 and partly 2018 were a land of plenty for bounty hunters. You could easily make hundreds of dollars in one week. Those days are over, because they were not sustainable and it was only because of all the hype. I remember projects that promised to make UBER superfluous and collected over 100 million, with 20% of the tokens distributed as bounty to less than 1000 people. You can calculate how much some of them earned. Furthermore there are much higher requirements for new (serious and legal) projects today which were not back in 2017, e.g. KYCs for bounties etc.
2212  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Proud partner of Southampton FC 🚀 on: August 28, 2020, 10:01:23 AM
Wondering why the thread title says " Sportsbet.io - Proud partner of Southampton FC". As far as I know only Sportsbet.uk has a British license while Sportsbet.io has not because it is licensed in Curaçao. What will be on the jersey, the io or uk domain?
2213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Name really matter in crypto? on: August 27, 2020, 10:13:03 AM
Does crypto name really matter before it become successful?

To a certain degree, yes, in my opinion. You only have to ask yourself the simple question: What coin would you rather invest in? One called BitcoinXYZ that is nothing more than a fork without changes (i.e. totally worthless in principle) or a new innovative coin that solves problems of current technology and is called AuntsJudyCoin? So the majority would rather invest in the first coin although it is a complete shitcoin.
2214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The cost of transferring money on the Ethereum network is too high on: August 27, 2020, 10:08:20 AM
Totally agree with you. I recently changed ERC20 tokens to ETH using a decentralized swapping site. It charged mit almost $10 in fee for the contract. This is ridiculous, even for large swapping volumes, and shows how far Ethereum and others are still away from mass suitability.

Kennt jemand noch KarlKarlsson aka Cyrille Wetter? Der war im WavesGo Project involviert. Weiß jemand, ob der noch aktiv ist?

https://twitter.com/karlkarlsson_?lang=de

2217  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker Gameplays and Strategies on: August 26, 2020, 08:37:26 AM
Well, I remember before when I was exploring my self to play poker. There is not strategy because getting a card in your hand is that an odds is what on based on luck. So, perhaps there is no strategy on it while playing poker, --it is a matter of skills when you start playing. I suggest you install a poker app offline in your cellphone and play or study what is a good handcard. Op stating on was he wrote was right.

Of course there are strategies. You even have to develop them based on the cards you get and your position in the game. Poker without strategy would not be poker. Before you start playing poker, you should first consider some simple strategies. These include good money management, otherwise you will quickly become a poor man.
2218  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US Presidential Election 2020 on: August 25, 2020, 01:08:51 PM
The polls went horribly wrong last time (2016), but they claim that they have rectified their methodology. And I believe that the current polls accurately depict the support levels for Trump/Biden. However, the gambling sites are taking a more cautious approach, and that may be the reason why they are giving a higher chance for Trump, than he actually deserve.

I don't know how the bookmakers did in the last presidential election in 2016, but I know that they were terribly wrong about the Brexit referendum. The odds were clearly pro-European. We know how it turned out. Here is an interesting article about it.

2219  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Poll: when will cryptocurrency go mainstream? on: August 25, 2020, 12:57:19 PM
In principle crypto currencies are already mainstream. Almost everyone has already heard of it and many possess at least a few coins like various surveys have shown. Also a lot of series cover crypto currencies. The question is probably rather, when crypto currencies become mainstream means of payment. That depends also strongly, when the developers can finally provide scalable solutions which can be used by everyone without technical knowledge, otherwise cryptos as general means of payment remain a wet dream.
2220  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is it possible that the 1% group want to kill us intentionally with covid ? on: August 25, 2020, 12:51:48 PM
Such theories are absolute non-sense. Think about it, the 1% would be 80 million people where there must be no traitor, otherwise the whole plan would be ruined. That is simply impossible. If it is, then it would have to be 0.0001% or less. But as said, it is quite well proven (DNA-technically) where the virus comes from.
