2361  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2015-16 Regular Season Discussion on: November 21, 2015, 04:15:15 PM
Who's betting on the Washington (5-4) - Detroit (7-5) matchup? What's your take?

Personally I like Drummond and Jackson, they're giving the franchise it's long waited return from the tomb. These guys can go for scoring sprees, but other than them, no one in the Pistons can carry. These against the tested Wall-Beal (yes, they say he's back in practice)-Gortat trio.

If Drummond and Jackson runs out of gas early on, Washington will take this one.
2362  Economy / Economics / Re: Heavy Selling Puts Bears Back In Driver Seat Going Into Weekend on: November 21, 2015, 03:47:10 PM
Maybe the sells were caused by mainstream media spreading info that bitcoin is terrorist money. Just let the issue cool off, I'm thinking the new floor is actually $340  to 350, which will be attained in the next few weeks.

On other news, NASDAQ Linq has formally debuted. Let's see how this would affect the current price.

Lucky me with my old Athlon II x4 630 !

Back when pooled mining was still available, my old Lenovo laptop was able to mine at least 10 coins/ day. Seems not much but it's really cool to mine a coin with older machines.

Anyhow, happy birthday to Bytecent, and may I ask, what's next for KomKore?
2364  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is your favorite Bitcoin Casino? on: November 21, 2015, 12:49:01 PM
you also forgot Betcoin and it's my best site , Betcoin has casino games , dice , sportsbook and poker
it's my favorite cause it has a great VIP program with betback , lossback and Rakeback also they have daily bonus
also their poker site has the best traffic cause they are partenered with WPN

I was with FortuneJack for months already but I switched to Betcoin about a month ago, I realized betting on sports and e-sports are way way enjoyable than slots and roullete. Plus like you said the features here are way better.
2365  Economy / Gambling / Re: [DOTA 2 - BETTING PREDICTION] [FREE] [W: 11] [L: 3] on: November 21, 2015, 11:03:53 AM
Todays game OG vs EG should be a easy call. I think EG will win. They showed against secret that they are getting better and better (some small slipups happen but im sure they will iron them out as they play more).
As for OG, the road to top 3 is really impressive! I put them in top 6 as i thought they would do well but they surprised me a bit with their run.
Anything can happen but i think the finals will be a rematch of EG vs Secret

I agree, It was a great run from OG, a fairly new team in the scene, they're never running out of surprises. But against a SumaiL tinker and Arteezy Sven oh noes this one is in the bag. I'd want to see a rematch in the finals too. I believe EG can perform better next time.

Update: My, my, OG was wild in that 3rd game, sad but it was fun to watch. It's secret Vs OG now for the finals.

Update: Oh my, OG won. Lucky I didn't bet in the grand finals. They're on TI now.
2366  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: November 21, 2015, 10:48:03 AM
Well as for me I have a mining contract that provides the bitcoins I use to pay for website hosting, VPSs, etc.. Having a constant stream of side income really helps.

On the side note, I noticed that a huge chunk of merchants accepting btc are on e-commerce. That just shows how much work is still needed for brick-and-mortar adoption.
2367  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Positive press release from the Central Bank of the Russian Federation. Tomorrow on: November 20, 2015, 02:57:15 PM

Positive for the banks and regulators or what?
The last news I know about was that russia is against cryptos and threatens people with jail.
Well let's what kind of news this will be.
We are talking primarily about the use of Bitcoin will not be criminally prosecuted. I think this is positive news. Further details can not yet reveal.

If what you have is true and Russia will negate their previous stance against bitcoin then I guess we should expect a little bit of price disruption shouldn't we?

Oh hey, I hope you are right.
2368  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [Warning] Using Digital Currencies with Paypal is against the TOS on: November 20, 2015, 12:03:33 PM
paypal is breaking off from ebay so hopefully they change the way they act towards btc. They should just say trade at your own risk using btc cause they dont back it up etc.

I don't see this coming to realization in the near future. The 'if you can't beat them join them' mentality never applies to corporate greed. These guys will limit your account even if your money is all legit.
2369  Economy / Gambling / Re: [DOTA 2 - BETTING PREDICTION] [FREE] [WIN: 8] [LOSS: 2] on: November 20, 2015, 04:01:14 AM
What's your take on EG vs CDEC 3 hours from now, a safe bet on EG or hope for a shocking CDEC win? I'm pretty sure Evil Geniuses has this one, but can't shake the feeling that CDEC has something under their sleeves, especially after knocking off Mineski and LGD.

I have a feeling EG will take it. CDEC is a good team but i feel every team from China seems to be lacking a bit (not to say other regions are that much ahead). Even icex3 told in his interview that Chinese teams did not come into the Majors very prepared because they are not used to the new format. The EU/NA teams seem to grasp the idea a bit better it feels.
Also EG is showing signs of improvement, they seem to be moving up steadily so i think "This one is in the bag" lol.

Yup, good thing I took the 'safe bet'. Anyway, OP, why no analysis whatsoever?

I'm going for EG again in the EG v Secret team. SumaiL got extreme talent and I think they're in the right momentum coming from the CDEC win. I wanna see SumaiL go for a 2 role again.
2370  Economy / Economics / Re: How To Create Price Stability on: November 20, 2015, 01:25:36 AM
If I understand you correctly, then pegging an alt coin to the price of a bitcoin (presumably in dollars) is no more than pegging the alt coin to the dollar.

This. There is no true way of stabilizing the price of bitcoin unless you modify bitcoin altogether. It's better to leave it as it is, pegging it to a commodity goes against the idea of decentralization.
2371  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [ANN] cryptoparrot.com - realtime twitter bitcoin tracker on: November 19, 2015, 11:15:43 AM
Hey,

Just had an idea. You could expand your website out of the realm of bitcoin and have users being able to type their own word to search in so they can filter down twitter to their own requirements.

You could monetize it by allowing say a feed of 25 tweets at one time and if the user pays X amount they can upgrade their feed to 100 at one time and the 7d, day statistics etc

Offering "premium accounts" with extended functionality is from the economic view genius and profitable. I for myself prefer to allow any user to use full functionality regardless of financial status and wealth. Advertising and partnerships (collaborations) are "better" for monetizing in my opinion. I don't like the "class society" and the "making money from anything"-ideology... Capitalism is not good because it furthers a lot of bad things. To be precise it causes more bad on this planet than good.

But i may port cryptoparrot to an separate server and name it something like "twittertracker" or "twitteranalyiser" or something like this and let user type in the keyword(s) for tracking... I also thought about my r-scan project and how it would be if i made a online application for scanning btc-keys.

As always, thank you very much for your thoughts and feedback!

I'd say it's an interesting project if you'd divert cryptoparrot to the lines of your 'twittertracker.' Add a few more features like a 'related tweets/mentions' and it'll be a great social analytics app for tracking brand visibility. I'm telling you, marketers are paying bucks of monthly subscriptions over that kind of thing.
2372  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2015-16 Regular Season Discussion on: November 19, 2015, 08:26:52 AM
Houston Rockets vs Portland Trail Blazers under 210 @1.76 this match will be finish around 200-205 points as most likely happening in matches between both teams.

With negativity and losing chemistry I do not see the rockets scoring real high for this game, and Portland too, with Aldridge now gone and the scoring duties now points much to Lillard, it'll be hard for the game to reach 210. Good call.

Will do agree with this pick it seems it will be much hard for both teams to cross 200 points into this even both are not good in defense this bet will make good profit.

Didn't expect that game to go over time. Harden and Brewer did step up their game, seems firing McHale was their wake up call. I still don't get that firing though, he did his best to keep the players up, he changed rotations, playing times and all. I guess he just lacked charisma to boost his players' morale.

Moving on, I'm taking over 214 in the LAC-GSW matchup. Clips is a good defensive team but I'm betting Curry will step up to near 40 again.
2373  Other / Off-topic / Re: How Much Would You Be Willing to Pay For A Bitcoin Membership Site? on: November 19, 2015, 08:01:09 AM
It would be wiser to have a section that is for everyone and a members only paid section. You can have all the actionable information locked in the paid member's section only and get teaser articles on the free part.

As you see, I don't want to pay on something I don't even know what it's like. As for the price, it depends on the quality of info you got. A $99 / year subscription is reasonable.
2374  Economy / Services / Re: Price for Creating a Faucet on: November 19, 2015, 06:23:52 AM
I have to ask the question, how do you not loose money on faucets?  If you have 100 people using your faucet and they are getting an average of 1,000 satoshi an hour.  After 10 days you are out .24 BTC.  So where does the income com in for to be ok with giving that BTC out?  I would like to do something like this, but I can not just give away money, does not make any sense.  Thank you for any information in advance.

I am also in similar situation i have faucet giving 100 satoshi every 10 minute and now i am throwing away 100000 satoshi per day but my income from all of the faucet referal is around 20000 only and from ad its better not to count. I don't think these days running faucet is profitable if you don't already have large traffic.

It's all about being creative with your traffic. Going the plain ad route won't get you decent profit unless you purely have top tier country traffic (US, etc). For example, you can capture your visitors' email addresses then run an email campaign afterwards, or simply sell your list.
2375  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Share Tips And Trick To Get BTC on: November 19, 2015, 06:17:14 AM
Most people enter the Bitcoin world through faucets, because they are everywhere these days. They start out by claiming from faucets hour on hour, and boredom quickly kicks in,

and they realize that claiming from faucets are not very profitable. {Once you subtract the electricity you have to pay} Most people miss the biggest secret to the success of

faucets and it is described here in detail ---> http://www.bitbiz.io/threads/the-value-of-a-faucet-referral-network.689/#post-5653

Enjoy.. Thanks to this strategy, I now spend zero time claiming and just get passive income weekly. {All income goes towards charity and lottery tickets}  Grin
To reach that state, you must have A HUGE AMOUNT of referrals Grin that' impressive

I'm getting "This Account has been suspended." I was hoping to see it.  But I don't really believe referrals are going to earn many a lot of money.  They are like a pyrmid scheme the ones at top... great referrals one at bottom begging for referrals.

So I just don't see the normal person going out and being successful on this.  But I will change it if after it comes up its not the standard do this and has many referral links along the way.

There are pros in this kind of networking business, and they live on referrals. Even in the real world, they sell everything, from hats to soaps. So yeah, there are likely people who earns a decent amount from faucet referrals.
2376  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a way to earn at least $1 in BTC per hour? on: November 19, 2015, 03:25:41 AM
If you are from USA,Australia,Canada,Qatar,Netherlands,United Kingdom you could join my job in my signature, good rates better than captcha or faucet.

Earn up to 0.01175$ / click!

I wonder why people post here such useless ads or services which pay so less. People ca easily earn more doing other things. Hell, you can earn more by doing literally anything. e

Because they'd like you to work for them. You do the hard labor while they reap the rewards. These types of 'services' work by volume so they'd need a lot of people to join under them.

@ontopic, unless you have a legit business or work, there's no other way.
2377  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - one of the Terrorists Funding Sources on: November 19, 2015, 03:18:33 AM
That can be said about anything in exchange for weapons and munitions. Come on now. Bitcoin is just stated there as a move to make people see it in a bad light as untrusted and therefore bad publicity.

Why'd they emphasize 'black market' oil and not said that the gold is also sold in the black market? Or do they mean the ISIS gold business is all legit.

I assume they're saying 'foreign donations' that goes through bitcoin. They just don't want to say money is still pouring to ISIS from all over the world.
2378  Economy / Services / Re: Anyone in the UK that wants to earn money? on: November 19, 2015, 02:35:35 AM
You are better off posting this in an internet marketing forum than a bitcoin forum you know. You'd get more contacts to deal with over there.

Sorry bud but only a couple people would agree to a 'true' exchange rate if you have something pre-loaded like that. Id suggest that you have it auctioned here and escrowed by a trusted member. That is if you don't get someone to sell it to.
