1. The miner doesn't have best before date. You should see the original Antminer L3+ thread in the altcoin section and ask user experiences and comments there. There is no point creating a new thread just for one question. 2. You are talking about one and same miner, Antminer L3+. 3. This forum section is for Bitcoin hardware. Not Litecoin or any other coin.

Bitcoin mining today is done with ASIC hardware, there is no profit for PC based mining. Old usb mining ASIC stick with 300MHs hash rate is useless.Proper hardware today is in a terahash scale. If you just want to try mining as a hobby with a USB ASIC stick, then I would suggest you Gekkoscience 2Pac stick, see here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1718358.0

I could sell one S7-LN with no PSU for 250EUR incl. shipping if that sounds ok?

^ SO yeah this is exactly what i'm after actually and the point of the thread. What info do you have that makes you think this? Based on this we might be able to work out rough times for next batch.
Thanks
It is widely known that when it comes to the chip manufacturing, Bitcoin ASIC chips, Litecoin ASIC chips, CPU chips, GPU chips or what ever, we are currently at best in the 16nm process. With all the problems in the current 16nm process, I'd say even big companies like Intel, Samsung etc. are a long way from smaller node process like 10nm, 7nm.. And Bitcoin ASIC chip manufacturers like Bitmain, Canaan, BW.. and Litecoin ASIC chip manufacturers like Bitmain, Innosilicon, BW ... are in a much smaller position compared to these guys. It is going to take time for ASICs to get to those smaller node processes. We are going to see more current generation Antminers for some time.

We don't know more about it than public info is, how would we?
I just say that there is a long way from the current 16nm node process to the next one (10nm, 7nm ?) .
We can always speculate, but I don't see the specific point with this thread?

Yes, the problem is that the last reply from them was months ago. What do you mean? Sidehack is active and has recent activity here at the forum. I was referring only about that specific thread Well that doesn't mean anything. He still has the stuff for sale. I sent a msg to him yesterday and got no reply until now... I'd be pissed if he delayed responding to my messages after I sent the money. Better get it from somewhere else. Thank you any way, friend! He is a busy manufacturer and most likely wants to have some free time from work in weekends just like most of us. You are being impatient.

I just contacted BW and proposed a buy and review for one BW L21 Litecoin miner (like I have done previously with Hotmine company). I know it is way below the MOQ of 100 units, but let's see what is their answer

If that's like the one that came with S7-LN miners, I had two or three with crap fans out of a dozen or so.
Yeah, it is the same power supply that has came with S7-LN and S2 Antminers. I ordered my third Arctic F14 fan for these power supplies and I should get in running again smoothly in tuesday.

Crap. The miner is still going on strong but the original fan of the power supply failed Fan-wise I don't recommend Enermax Revolution 87+ 1000W PSU for anyone. This is already third case in which I have to replace the original fan with a new one (I have a total amount of three of these power supplies).

Let's hope for a small negative direction change. -0.5 = HagssFIN

Well of course they are denying it, but they don't write the code just for fun.
I would be surprised if they only have the 761 for internal mining, but not for public sale. That is not how Canaan usually goes with things.

...Bitcoin is usually the most profitable in long term..
Peercoin usually second.
Only if you mine one single coin (instead of switching based on current given profitability). If you solo-mine and switch between multiple coins, most days will pay no less than 1.5x what you would make in a pool mining just bitcoin. Yes. I only answered for a single-coin situation.

Thanks for your answer. Please reply me, Which altcoins more profitable to mine?
You can watch it on coinwarz or whattomine
