Yeah, it is shame that there is such a big efficiency gap between the S9 and Ebit E9

I just noticed that we can probably expect a new AvalonMiner model, AvalonMiner 761 sooner or later. There is already code for it in Canaan's cgminer github https://github.com/Canaan-Creative/cgminer/blob/master/driver-avalon7.cFor example: *snip*
struct avalon7_dev_description avalon7_dev_table[] = { { "711", 711, 4, 18, AVA7_MM711_VIN_ADC_RATIO, AVA7_MM711_VOUT_ADC_RATIO, 4981 }, { "721", 721, 4, 18, AVA7_MM721_VIN_ADC_RATIO, AVA7_MM721_VOUT_ADC_RATIO, 4981 }, { "741", 741, 4, 22, AVA7_MM741_VIN_ADC_RATIO, AVA7_MM741_VOUT_ADC_RATIO, 4825, }, { "761", 761, 4, 26, AVA7_MM761_VIN_ADC_RATIO, AVA7_MM761_VOUT_ADC_RATIO, 4825, } };
*snip*
edit:AvalonMiner 761 support was added four days ago in June 7, 2017 according to this change log https://github.com/ckolivas/cgminer/compare/master...Canaan-Creative:master

They now have a product page for the Ebit E9 Plus 9Th/s. It costs 1100 USD, produces 9 Th/s hash rate and consumes about 1300 W (not including PSU efficiency). It still has about the same hash rate per power consumption rate as the previous one. Link: http://miner.ebang.com.cn/en/product/product-89-150.htmlEbit E9 Plus
Ebit E9 Miner Parameters Ideal hash rate: 9TH/S(-2%~+10%) Power consumption ratio on wall:145W/T(-10%~+15%,AC/DC 93%efficiency,25℃ ambient temperature) Rated voltage: 11.8V~13.0V Chip Info.: DW1227 132pcs(14nm LPP process) Power interface: 9*6PIN port Dimensions: 290mm*126mm*155mm Weight: 4.7KG Network connection: Ethernet Operating temperature: -10℃~40℃ Working humidity: 5%RH~95%RH (non condensing) (click to open a bigger picture)

Haggsfin has purchased a couple of miners from them and they delivered. No experience myself but i did contact them and they responded quickly and quite professionally.
I confirm this.

...Maybe they calculate more profit with this new regular pre-order style.
TBH, I'm thinking it has more to do with not further flooding the market (which would reduce current product value). But that's just my opinion (for what that's worth). Yes, good point as well.

Yeah, Bitmain use to be cool with close to no pre-orders. Maybe they calculate more profit with this new regular pre-order style.

COME ON BITMAIN - We know you are a business, We know you need cashflow, We know you are the only source, BUT please do not take our money an hold the product! We need the product. OVER 2 Months before delivery??
You don't need it, you want it. Setting that aside, pre-orders aren't a new thing in this world. Pre-orders are a shitty, cancer thing in this world. Period.

lautre: With 0.82 efficiency and 960W load at the wall plug, we can approx. calculate your load on the lower voltage side to be about 788W.
With 0.82 efficiency and 1105W load at the wall plug, we can approx. calculate your load on the lower voltage side to be about 906W.
You are really close to the max!
You need to learn more about these numbers and basic electronics.
1000W is the absolute max. you can have load with this PSU and it is not recommended to put 100% load with ATX power supplies. Server grade power supplies in the other can handle 100% load written in specs because they are made for it.

The real question is that what size of mining rewards these people with these crazy ideas are expecting? It's pretty clear that low-power equipment like this can't get you that much of hash rate. Nowadays it is sometimes hard to find common sense in people.

Go to the altcoin section or to the ethereum forum linked above. This is Bitcoin section.

Search for user manuals at Bitmain.com. There is also lots of info here at the forum in existing threads. So no need for a separate thread. You just must do some searching and learning job yourself.
Here are my comments on this case: 1. Antrouter is for solo mining only and you need to be really really lucky to find a block in solo with it.
2. Two Antminer U3's doesn't offer you that much of hash rate. Your miner rewards are really really small in pooled mining.

Why don't you find someone experienced and reliable at www.localbitcoins.com ? They got pretty good escrow system.

Now there is Aug. 28-Sep. 12 pre-order batch, this is just going crazier batch by batch Good business for Bitmain, get the payment in advance to have funds to make the miner, mine for three months with it and then send the miner for the customer.

There is thermal adhesive in S5+, S7, S7-LN, S9, R4, T9, L3 and L3+ heatsinks.

One thing you could do is try my method, at your own risk. Worked smoothly with my two autotune Antminer R4's. Originally posted in the R4 thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1597639.msg18267781#msg18267781Well, this is an interesting find and I thought I'll share it with you. I had a problem booting my Antminer R4 8.0 Th/s, batch 2, autotune-model. So I went looking in here: Bitmain.com: Three Ways to Restore Factory Settings (R4/S9/T9) https://enforum.bitmain.com/bbs/topics/3957I used the last option in the list, IP Reporter button restore. Usage: Please power off the miner, then hold down the IP Reporter and don’t release it. At the same time, please power on the miner. Releasing the IP Reporter after 5 seconds, the machine will automatically restore factory settings. My miner restored with firmware Aug. 9 2016 and autotune settings were gone. I am now suddenly able to control frequency and custom fan settings. This was not my original problem, but I'm happy with it. My original problem was that the miner jammed somehow in the booting process and didn't even show up in my router ip list.

OP: There is no sense in mining Litecoins with a GPU rig. Litecoin mining and other scrypt algo cryptocurrency mining is done today with ASIC hardware, like A4 Dominator, Antminer L3, KnCMiner Titan, ...
