901  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you take Part in Gambling Lotteries ? on: April 26, 2023, 03:23:17 PM
I was a lottery guy years ago because lottery was one of the most popular and the most played gambling game in my country.
Lottery is a fun game if you like it because of the chance to win big with small stake.
Of course we should not force ourselves to participate every single day, do it for fun only and do not spend to much on it.
I've left lottery game since long time ago after I won 3000x of my stake which gave me nice return at that time.
Lottery is an incredibly popular gambling game as many people do not even think of it as a form of gambling, in fact where I live there are several religious institutions which perform lotteries and no one thinks anything out of it, even if supposedly gambling is forbidden for the followers of some religions out there, and when we add that the lottery is an incredibly simple game to understand then this adds to its popularity, especially if we compare it to a game like poker which can be a very complex game.
Well, you are right, many actually do not see on consider lotteries as a form of gambling probably due to its simplicity, which usually involves just buying some tickets, then relax and wait for the result to know if you won or not.

Many people, including religious organizations consider gambling to be all about betting against other people, arguing that something will happen and betting on it against others who believe such a thing will not happen.
This is probably why some religious organizations see lotteries as a way of giving back to the society, rather than gambling.

Lottery have charity institutions they support. The give back to the community by helping those who are in need which is a good thing. I guess this is one of the good contribution of those people who try their chance to win in lotteries despite the slim chance of getting the jackpot prize. Although it's not really that practical, if we will check the practicality of taking your luck and then waiting for miracle to happen because there's so many number combinations and it'll be a very strong competition against the odds. I guess it's really to each his own.
902  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why we should play on minor gambling platform? on: April 26, 2023, 02:14:38 PM
Personally I'm only using platforms that have been around for some time, and of course those that have a very good reputation or are very well known in mainstream.  However if someone does choose to use a smaller lesser known casino, then as long as you are able to withdraw your money out quickly, it's probably not as big of a deal.  That's why withdraw times/speeds are so important to me.
Almost all old casinos have fast withdrawals on average but not for new casinos because it might complicate withdrawals by asking for KYC or complicated documents or fulfilling wagering requirements if you can't fulfill that you won't be able to withdraw your money even your account will be banned and funds frozen, you are right to play in old casinos because apart from being guaranteed safe they are also much more convenient.

small casinos or new casinos are very unsafe to play big money so if you want to test it, be sure to complete KYC or use small money then play if you are ready to make a withdrawal and if the process is fast then use big money, because to test it you have to use small money to avoid casino scam.

Reputable casinos really have the hearts of the players because of course, the capability of the casino is already proven for the whole duration of their operation. The functionality and the features of these casinos stand out which is the reason why they have so many patronage and is still continuously operating despite new rising competitions. Most people are after the reviews and feedbacks. If there will be lesser to none who will vouch for a website, they will think twice on depositing and playing in it.

But of course, discovering another great casino won't happen if people are going to choose the same casino all over again. It takes risk to try new things and explore something unfamiliar to you.
903  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i make 100 $ daily from online casinos on: April 26, 2023, 10:52:12 AM
We call it gambling as there's luck behind, that will allow anyone to win, both experienced and beginners share same opportunities if the luck behind permits them, the only advantage of experienced gamblers is they have the capability to quit and enjoy the money while they still can unlike with beginners who thinks that luck will not expire and they will continue to proceed and will try to win more.

I always agree with the sentiment which, if you can manage your bankroll, the chance of hitting your target is possible. It can take time and good experience to control your emotions.
But talking about a target where the target was very high, especially in gambling, made it look impossible to achieve, even though he might be able to achieve it every day. He will still find it difficult to hit his targets, but if we talk about business owners or casino owners, earning $100 is possible daily, considering many gamblers come to the casino.

So when it is a gambler, and he wants to achieve his goal, he should think before actually gambling. He must also consider how much money he should use to reach his target.

I agree with this.

It's no joke to attain every single day a $100. While it is possible, it requires effort, time, and money. We are not talking about winning it in a one time only, but in consecutive days, which is everyday. Given that you will have a small fund allocation for gambling, this wil really be a challenge. One must have a specific amount intended for gambling that could generate the target amount. Because of course, not every time you will bet, you will automatically win. There will be times that your bets will fail, you will lose some money in unfortunate instances. Winning won't be guaranteed since luck is not always favorable to you.

A much better option to generate this amount will be finding another stream of income that is stable and has lesser risks involved.
904  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I am only trying to stay safe by gambling less on: April 26, 2023, 10:20:29 AM
Gambling in casino websites and investing in bitcoin is twi different things. Sure both are considered gamble because both possess the risk of losing something valuable such as fund for gambling and for investment, but they have different purposes, different level of risk, and different way on how you will execute.

Gambling through casino websites are mostly for fun and entertainment. Players are after the excitement, happiness, and satisfaction variety of games bring. Although some are after the profit as well. Meanwhile, in investment, you are after the profit in either short term or long term. Of course, who would want their investment to fail right? Especially if it involves huge sum of money, people are hopeful it will earn profit and interest over time.

In gambling and investing, there will be completely different outcome if you will risk less. In gambling, you will less likely to get addicted if you are avoiding playing consecutively. There will be lesser risk for you. However, in investment, the lesser you try to invest, the more your asset could depreciate over time. Because as we know, inflation hits so bad as time passes by.
905  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you lose on slots? on: April 25, 2023, 02:32:04 PM
People love slot games because their bets can be the minimum bet amount. And with a certain amount of money as capital, they can try their luck. And even though they experience loss, that doesn't make them stop playing it another day because there is a temptation that makes them come back again.

Playing slots is very fun because we can choose from various games from many providers, which is why gamblers like to switch between slot games to get their luck. But if they don't have self-control, playing slots for too long will cause them to suffer heavy losses while they also can't expect to win.

So many people have experienced defeat from playing slots. And we have to prevent that many losses from happening to us by limiting the money to play.

Indeed. Many people are fond of slot games because it isn't complex unlike other games. In slots, you don't have to be strategic, knowledgeable, and skillful, rather you have to be lucky in order to win. Which is why a lot of people love it since it doesn't require much effort and you can bet a minimum amount to win a much bigger amount in return.

However, of course, like any other gambling games, this can be addicted too. Excessive playing of slot games may cause someone to go overboard their fund allocation for gambling which can cause many more problems in the long run. This is why despite it being an easy game to play, one must still set limitations and boundaries to refrain themselves from getting so much hooked to the point they will chase winnings and crave for playing it despite consecutive losses. Discipline is a must especially in games like this because no matter how small your bet may be, if it will be calculated as a whole, it will still make a significant figure that could be allocated to something else.
906  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i make 100 $ daily from online casinos on: April 25, 2023, 12:53:33 PM
It's possible to make this amount if you are a skilled player and if you are very lucky everyday. Relying on betting alone could earn you a hundred bucks, however, the probability will only be proportional on the skills, strategies, knowledge, and luck you have. If you aren't really skilled and you don't know much about the games, then the chance of you earning is relatively lower. After all, there isn't always a good day. Sometimes we encounter rainy days too. And during rainy days, most of the time it really pours, so we should always be prepared of the cons.

If you belong to referral program, you could earn much more. But this won't guarantee a fixed earning since there will be times that there will be little to none who will register using your link or code. But it could help you profit, though it will be a delayed gratification on your end. Just remember to always bet what you can only afford to lose and never risk the amount you have another allotment on to avoid regrets in the future if things don't go the way you expected.
907  Economy / Gambling / Re: What else should an established crypto casino add? on: April 25, 2023, 12:02:32 PM
If a gambler gets enough support from a casino then that gambler will come back even if he conducts temporary gambling on other platforms. Moreover, those gambling establishments that have good support they shine quickly on the gambling platform. Gambling platforms should pay special attention to a few aspects. One of them is customer service. When a gambler is satisfied, that gambler will increase the number of users on the platform through the refer of other gamblers and thus a gambling site can gain popularity quickly.

Speaking about support - what kind of support a gambler can get if he only turn to support when he has issues with login or withdrawal ? Do you consider bonuses to be customers support? Imho they are just a promotion.

As to "gambler is satisfied - he will bring new users". I maybe one of a kind, who lives in a deep forest and has no friends, but do gamblers really share much info about their achievements? I havent faced many, who has shared their story of success that encourage other to join any specific casino. I have only met stories here like "I have made a bet, hit jackpot and gained x9999" with a few screenshots attached. But that dont really looked encouraging to me. It might even work opposite by showing that on casino <insert name> there is no longer a huge jackpot, so better search luck in other place Cheesy

I think he's pertaining to customer support whenever there's conflict and issue involved, not enclosed to deposit or withdrawal, rather generally speaking, for every technical difficulties or discrepancy the players will encounter during they are making a bet or playing. For instances, some games encounter glitches which needs to be addressed so that players can play without hassle. There are also moments there are problems regarding KYC, or even the mere interface of the website. It will be so much better if the casino has an approachable customer representative which will offer support to the players in times of need.

Regarding having good casino website to satisfy players, word of mouth really works wonders. Although of course, it will still depend if you are the target market of the platform or not. But good feedbacks from players will definitely help build the reputation of the casino site to entice new players to enter and play. It could be their friend, family member, or even stranger that could pick up interest because they know how to deliver words that will get through someone's head. Personally, I know a friend who gambles and is good in persuading people to try because he himself has achievements in winning consecutively.
908  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wagering requirements for withdraw on: April 25, 2023, 11:14:51 AM
Unfortunately thats how these companies operate and this is not limited to  gambling companies only ,and the fact that less than 10% of us read these T&Cs and you are made to consent by signing to these terms and conditions I dont think a case against them would hold water. And even if you had the interest to read them , you are given thousands  of words to read and its the most dreadful activity when you just want to play and get on with the fun.
I get that people just want to gamble and have some fun, but the moment you decide to try a new casino then you must commit to the idea you must read their TOS, if you refuse to do this then you cannot really complain about the policies of any casino as you accepted them before you created an account there.

In fact there are have been some casinos and other services that I wanted to try out but once I read their TOS I realized there were a lot of things I did not like, and at the end I decided against using their services.
Always consider on reading up everything on the time that you do consider out on playing on a gambling site or on whatever things you would really be that tending to do on which there are really that corresponding

rules and conditions which you should really need to know for you to be at least aware on what you are dealing with rather than on playing and expecting something which isnt bound to happen due to restrictions and terms. When you do make a deposit on a gambling site then be sure that you shouldnt really be expecting that you could get out safe or you would make out withdrawal out of winning because thats not how gambling works. If you are lucky then you could really make out some winnings but if not then you would definitely experience losses which is common.

It's really important to make reading a habit. Otherwise, you'll end up encountering inconveniences along the way because of lack of knowledge and information. Reading the TOS is very important in gambling. If you want to know the casino well enough, you must go through their rules and policies. You must read the conditions set by the casino so that you won't be shocked in the future for something that is already stated but you happen not to read it.

Reading the TOS will give you the edge while playing through the casino site. You'll know the do's and don'ts, thus you can calculate your actions before making a bet and playing in actual. There are also policies that can be changed without prior notice, you should look for that too. Anything you need to know is written in the agreement form so before checking "i consent or i agree" you should make sure you understood everything to avoid hassle and future problems.
909  Economy / Gambling / Re: Without money, does it still qualify as gambling? on: April 25, 2023, 10:31:11 AM
Have you heard of Superpicks on DSTV? where you can make predictions and win money without staking your money?

if you have not, check it out. Superpicks.com

My question is can it still be called gambling if it is not played with money?
I don’t see gambling if there is no money betting in the first place. Because the fact that people resort into gambling, is to make good amount of money. Others may even find it as an instant way to get rich most particularly with lottery gambling. Maybe, for some who are just playing for fun without money involved, it could be gambling for them but in the real scenario, gambling will always be associated with money and wealth.

I have the same thing in mind.

Gambling requires the risk. It isn't optional. If there's no risk, then it's not counted as gambling since you don't have anything to lose at all. Gambling games involve luck, skills, and strategies combined. If you were to play without money involved, you're merely having fun playing, but not really gambling. Gambling requires you betting and staking something valuable and important to you such as your money or assets. If you're only going to play to test the waters or to have fun, you are just practicing and seeking entertainment in the form of recreational activity.
910  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Chat GTP destroy poker on-line gambling??? on: April 25, 2023, 09:07:36 AM
It's possible, but I don't think we're anywhere near it just yet.

AIs give us the convenience that we need to have an easier life. It makes our tasks much lighter because of the advanced technology it possess. For coding or any related concern in programming or even school related tasks, AI can be of great help. It can also be of great help if it will be developed to analyze human emotions then pinpoint what kind of move the opponent will make or even predict the possible card combination held. If this will happen, the player using such will be at advantaged.

It could have pros and cons in online poker in general if ever the time comes it could see through almost everything.
911  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which one is important? Knowledge or Experience? Or both in Bitcoin Learning! on: April 22, 2023, 04:35:53 PM
It's kinda confusing because somehow it's just the same for me.

The guy with a lot of experience started as a person who only has knowledge, and the experience comes after. So I don't know what's the debate here, doesn't make any sense at least for me because the one that only has knowledge will also have experience right after and they are just both the same to me. We started as a newbie and will end up a pro in the end if we are going to make something as a career.
912  Economy / Gambling / Re: Without money, does it still qualify as gambling? on: April 22, 2023, 03:50:12 PM
Gambling can come in many forms. If something you do involves risking and has a probability of winning or losing, then yes it's still considered as gambling. Otherwise, it's just a mere practicing of strategy so that in the actual event, you'll get the gist of how it plays and you'll be more confident to do the next steps in order to make a win.

Gambling doesn't only involve money per se. You can make a bet and use other assets as a your stake depending of course on the terms agreed upon by the other gamblers or the house itself if it will allow such. Although mostly, these kind of bets do not occur in a formal and established casino, and rather happen with informal  agreement.
913  Economy / Economics / Re: SPENDING MORE THAN YOU EARN on: April 22, 2023, 03:09:00 PM
I also want to add this up.

Before you buy something you want, don't buy it instantly, spend a week thinking about it if you should really buy it, after that, you decide. For me, I always end up not buying the things that I wanted because of that, realization and thoughts will come up to you in that period amount of time, and you'll just say to yourself that you don't want it anymore, so you just saved your money getting wasted on something that you'll only want for a short period of time.
914  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Essential one to new traders in Crypto currency on: April 22, 2023, 02:37:01 PM

2.You have to learn trading by using a little amount of dollars in practical experience. You should not consider such money as loss. After you learn trading, you can earn 10-20x of the loss money.

This is easier said than done.

Not all of the newbie traders could handle the stress they will get in the process, the frustration because of expectations that didn't meet, so automatically they will conclude that trading is not for them, which is not a bad idea since all they wanted is to ensure their funds. There's a lot of opportunities for them, not just trading so you can't really blame them if they chicken out of trading real quick after they lost some of their fund.
915  Economy / Gambling / Re: Enough to consider a casino scam? on: April 22, 2023, 01:48:42 PM
If the casino rejects your KYC documents even though they are completely legit, it implies that they are indeed scamming you using their TOS as a shield. They provide various excuses to justify themselves.

However, if there is some sort of issue(Including minor ones) with your KYC documents, you are 100% at fault and the casino is right to reject your documents frankly speaking.

This is why you should make sure that there are no issues before submitting them op.

Agree with this.

There's no reason for a legit casino to consecutively reject your KYC verification if you really did submit all the documents needed. If you complied to all of the required documents such as picture of identification card, giving your personal information, bank statements, and the likes that are frequently asked in KYC, then it's on their end that has a problem, not you. If you provided a clear picture or copies of these, they should grant your KYC, unless they aren't legitimate casino to begin with who doesn't have enough funding to let you make a withdrawal.

But if your documents are incomplete and/or also blurry, then it's on you. Double check the things you submitted first to see whether the problem is you or them. If you know to yourself that it's on them, then make a complaint and post in scam & accusations board to gather opinions, to escalate the concern, and to give a warning to those people who want to try their website.
916  Economy / Economics / Re: Look for what to invest, not what to eat on: April 21, 2023, 03:27:48 PM
None of what you said make sense at all.

People who are looking what to eat are the type of people that doesn't have enough money to put food on their table much more on investing. They are the ones who are barely surviving in the society because of corrupted government that is neglecting them even though they really needed help. They are also the ones that doesn't have much privileges in life that's why they are struggling to survive.

It's not investing that they need, they need a push from someone that is financially stable or more stable to start a new life.
917  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where can I invest 4k bitcoin on: April 21, 2023, 01:21:02 PM
You can deposit that on any legit exchange and start trading, though the profit depends on how good are you, it can be $100 per day or even more with that amount of capital, or it could be worst if you don't have enough knowledge in trading. The best thing would be is to hodl and wait for the next bull run, that is the safest way to have big profits, only if you're willing to wait.
918  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I still believe I am on the right path on: April 21, 2023, 12:43:58 PM
We all experienced that moment, when we wanted to sell Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies because of FUDs.

I also experienced panic selling, but I learned from it, I never do that anymore without researching first about the coin that I am holding. Bitcoin is the best thing I ever hold since I started in cryptocurrency, the profit is good in the long run. A lot of FUDs will automatically flood the internet once bear market strikes but you'll get used to it. I never doubt Bitcoin's potential ever since, I am confident about it.
919  Economy / Economics / Re: Corruption Should Be Taught From Young Age on: April 20, 2023, 03:35:33 PM
Corruption can not be prevented because not all of us wanted to end it. Rather than searching for the truth, most of us get easily swayed by sugarcoated words by politicians, their broken promises, etc. To end corruption, we must come up with a unity, that has one goal, and that is to vote someone who is really trustworthy of our shared dreams and hope for every countries around the globe.

But it's all hopeless now, in my opinion, because people are blinded with money and power, and poor people doesn't have the voice to make a move because they are being oppressed by powerful individuals.
920  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would you do if you found others' keys? on: April 20, 2023, 12:51:26 PM
If I'm gonna be honest, I'd say I wouldn't do anything about it, because the rightful owner do still have access on that private key and I don't have the right to steal those money from him in any way. My conscience cannot handle that kind of act, I'd still rather have my own money earn from my own hard work and not an easy money that just stumbled upon in the internet.
