Still unsure how this game is going to improve the price in any way.

I may be mistaken with my understanding of the plan, but the game will give you electrons, which you can use to boost your stakers (still no explanation on how that works, right?) Still not sure why anyone would go through the trouble of buying ions even if they think it's the best game in the world.

I think you could be one as well with that type of thinking. They explained further how bad these type of freemium game concepts are.
They had also several studies about these type of games on handheld devices + motion control that is a separate issue to even the coin.
I'll refrain from typing what the Nintendo devs thinks about it. As it allows the ION team to gain free knowledge without learning the value of the lesson.

Which is why a couple pages ago I stated what this project looks like.
A giant business platform concept to sell to someone else. Erase x-coin and y-game.
Might be wrong and they only get to the second game and fade away.

I'm offering a 1000 XPY bounty for the best guess of how many times the first ionomy game will be installed from the Google Play store by July 20. That's right, a $20k prize!!! ¹

Some basic rules (last revision hopefully... doesn't affect existing entries):

1) Deadline for entries 00:00 UTC June 21st, results will be determined at 00:00 UTC July 21st by looking at Google Play page for the game. Google Play displays installs as an interval. For the purposes of the bounty the top end of the interval will be used (e.g. if Google Play shows 500-1000 installs then 1000 will be used to determine the winner).
2) One entry per person, one person per number (i.e. you can't choose a number that is already taken). You can change or revoke your entry at any time until the deadline. Only Bitcointalk accounts registered before June 1, 2016 are allowed to participate.
3) If the game doesn't get into Google Play by July 20 then "0" guess wins. Otherwise the nearest guess wins.
4) I'm not responsible for issues preventing the winner from receiving or cashing out the bounty, including but not limited to the wallet being broken, XPY being utterly worthless etc.
