Hello, why does the demo/Bittrex version of leonArdo only show 7 decimal places for OKCash? That is rather misleading:

This is a great start guys, love the look of the platform.  As soon as there is a more robust strategy coding function like pine script or something similar I'll be the first in line!

imo. Leonardo is a good bot. However, the strategies are way too simple. Yes the GUI is really nice and easy to use, but that doesn't add any value as bot to me. The real value on any bot are the strategies (based on technical analysis, sentiment, AI and fundamentals). The flexibility to easy modify it to adapt on market conditions (sideway, bullish or bearish), obviously the experience ppl have on trading and last but not least, I saw a flaw on this bot same as all other bots (That I won't discuss it here, if Leonardo devs. are interested they can PM me). This is my opinion as experienced Quant trader.

There are better bots out there if you want to pay for it.
Start up small business that is open to ideas is a great thing to support.

Im thinking of testing a strategy with buying in at fibonacci levels.
Each strategy is named
78
61.8
50
38
They buy on the level and sell on the next. so each strategy is all in order but only activate(buy & sell) when it reaches that level. so it means only one bot is only trading at a time.

what are other peoples strategies?

and please ridicule my therory. it helps

Its ok if you discuss it here, we would like to hear about these flaws, this is an open forum and we should discuss everything, good, bad and ugly. That is the only way to improve things.

I agree, its a simple bot with only 2 strategies, regular ping pong is too rigid to be useful in dynamic crypto market, margin maker is better but confusing partly because there is no in depth tutorial that explains how it works and how it should be used, what settings etc.

Adding trailing stop would be useful, let winners run instead of selling too early and missing out on good  profits, its quiet common for crypto to move 10-20% ± in a day and getting only a few % out of such a huge move is not good enough.
Every bot on the market seems to cut profits too early where as stop losses are not utilized properly or encouraged to use  in expectation that coins will bounce back.

I am using the margin maker but still do not understand a lot of what it does.
I would love to see some ( A few ) real examples and the settings used and explained what each setting was used to see the end result.

Would it be that hard to make a video showing how to use it and using each control and why.

I use the ping pong more as a sell tool than anything with bittrex. It is more easy to use and set - right now I have it set to sell LTC at $73 and then buy back if it then drops to $65

I have MM set to sell ETH at $287.99 right now

Hey,

we have some tutorial videos on our website.

http://marginsoftware.de/tutorial.html

We are also working on a complete overhaul of our website. So expect more content soon!
Unfortunately we cant give financial advice, so we can't give advice one how to tune the bots.

Thanks for your comments and feedback. As leonArdo is work in progress, we will add more bots and advanced features in the next weeks and months.
Keep the ideas coming Wink

Hello, why does the demo/Bittrex version of leonArdo only show 7 decimal places for OKCash? That is rather misleading:

Screenshot:  http://prntscr.com/gj7glg

Also, I have 5 Bittrex accounts. Can I register API keys for all of them and label the accounts and switch between them?

Finally: is there a referral program? I can refer a good number of people to this.

Just drop us a mail at support@marginsoftware.de and we will create you a referral link.
As you every API key is basically a license, you would have to get an extra license for each key.
If you actually need five, just also get in contact via mail and we figure something out.

Quick question guys. So the license is based on the API key? so you can only use 1 license on 1 exchange and on 1 account? If so, can you at least change this anytime (point the bot at another API/Account) ?

Yes, the license is based on the key. Which is the method most bot softwares are using.

Good day, completely new here on this Forum, so my first post.

Bought a leonArdo license today after testing several trading platforms. First impressions are very good. I want to thank the leonArdo team for their great support by answering questions and perform installations on a Sunday afternoon. Looking forward to new features, hope to see more technical indicators in the platform (especially the Ichimoku indicator).

Hope to learn a lot on this Forum and I'll try help other users with their questions in the near future.

Keep up the good work.

The mArgin maker bot comes with two kinds of stop loss: absolute and relative. The relative settings is relative to the last buy.

Best wishes,
Jonathan

[---snip---]

Yah, i could use a bit more documentation too. As i'm getting more familiar with the software i'm thinking about writing a bit of FAQ or maybe even writing some stuff in a wiki or so.

So if anyone want some more info on specific things, i can at least try to answer some questions.

By the way, most stuff within the gui has bubble popups with a description to a button or entry field.

Maybe, before i go on to set up some strange server or services, maybe Jonathan can provide something for that?

(Well, i can simply put that into a pastebin or google docs document maybe, if that is no problem. Wink)

Edit: P.s.: I was asked to hide the direct download URL an instead give you the link to the Landing-Page which is http://marginsoftware.de/leonardo-papertrading.html

Usually i'd like to keep the original data because otherwise it's somewhat complicated to try this on your own w/o the original url, but as is it just a simple email adress and a captcha you need to fill in, that should be not the biggest problem at all. Wink
